OP from the discussions here it seems the credit facilities is lenient for farmers. How hard is it (accessing wahalas) for someone who wants to go into Media related micro business? |
Early Europeans did a fairly good job of using pagan within church traditions eg mistletoe at Christmas, Christmas itself, easter eggs etc, dropping the bad bits like human sacrifice along the way. Might be nice if a similar thing happened in Nigeria if one is religiously inclined and proud of your heritage, good traditions should stay but destructive harmful ones e.g West African witchcraft. Accusing children of witchcraft, Tanzanian belief in the powers inherent in Albino limbs should be wiped out and forgotten. |
If Africans had better access to education and a greater chance of escaping poverty, fanatical religion would be less appealing. Someone once said; A time will come when remaining religious people will be treated and cared for, with a lot of sympathy and understanding, in psychiatric hospitals! If what Carl Jung wrote is correct, the exact opposite may be the case - …Among all my patients in the second half of life—that is to say, over thirty-five—there has not been one whose problem in the last resort was not that of finding a religious outlook on life. It is safe to say that every one of them fell ill because he had lost what the living religions of every age have given their followers, and none of them has been really healed who did not regain his religious outlook. Regardless of whether religions are 'true' or not, it seems that they can often be psychologically helpful. |

September is just a day away and Buhari still does not have ministers yet? It is now three months since Muhammadu Buhari was sworn in as president of Nigeria and five months since he won historic elections, the first time an opposition candidate had won. His victory generated huge celebrations and expectations of a new beginning, with many anticipating dramatic changes to follow, and analysts urging him to “hit the ground running”. Most Nigerians expected President Buhari to shake up the security services and make other key appointments in his first few days – as former President Olusegun Obasanjo did within hours of his inauguration in 1999. But it took nearly two months for him to replace his security chiefs and so far he has only made appointments in about a dozen government offices. Just after he took office in May, the senate said he was allowed to appoint 15 special advisers. Yet only a few have been appointed and there is currently no adviser on the national assembly to serve as a link between the executive and legislature. This could be seen as a mistake given the current friction between the presidency and the senate over the election of the chamber’s president, who was not the ruling party’s chosen candidate. However, it is not only the politicians who are in a limbo. Many sectors of the economy await policy direction. Following Mr Buhari’s pledges to make tackling corruption a priority, they want clarity on how to proceed. This is also making foreign investors wary. The Permanent secretaries now seem somewhat powerful? http://nijabazaar.com/?p=486 |

Feel the Sensation Get out of your head and concentrate on what’s right in front of you. It’s easy to do, and be safe, with SKYN® condoms. Be Slicker Make sex much more satisfying by using lubricant. Keep your momentum on track and reach for SKYN® Extra Lubricated condoms. With UltraSilky™ lubrication, they’ll work to enhance your pleasure and hers. Hold Back Extend the pleasure with delayed—and more intense—gratification. Tease her before you please her. And, when you’re about to climax, pause or slow down before starting up again and letting yourself go. Accept Help You may be surprised, but she would happily bring her intimacy gadgets to bed with you. They can spark flames during pre-intimacy, leading to more intense action with you. Or, try a couples vibrator and share in the pleasure. Offer a Surprise Who doesn’t like a sexy surprise? Catch her off guard with a midday text telling her what you’re going to do to her later, prepare a candlelit bedroom, or wrap up a box of erotic lingerie. She’ll thank you in kind. http://nijabazaar.com/?p=479 |
