Normally, my babe eats 1-2 hours round the clock (we're ebf sha). Atimes at night, she would just be turning and turning without fully waking up, then I'll just carry her up and put her to suck.

Maybe you can try that sha. But you dey enjoy oo, 12 hours gabadaya!

Wait now it will soon reach your turn. Any day Cole wants to sleep he sleeps waking just 2ce or 3ce between 10pm and 6am and any day sleep no dey him timetable we can be awake 4-5 hrs straight. So any day I have something important doing the following morning like Sundays I always pray I'm lucky.

Ahh. We have been having light here o, until last night that they took it around 11pm. What made it worse was, madam has refused to sleep in her bed with net, so we had to fix net so she can join us in our bed. And you know how that thing can cause heat. We have demonic mosquitoes in this our area so I couldn't even take chances. She slept with only diaper yesterday while her dad and I took turns to be fanning her till daybreak. We've been having consistent power supply so I didn't know the weather was this terrible. I guess she sweated all her urine away.

U ppl are lucky then I don't even know what's wrong with the light here maybe transformer or so, we ve been sleeping without net o sleep with net inside this heat na roasting things be that. Though we don't have mosquitoes here except we leave d door opened which I'm always careful about.

Although, she has been sweating plenty since morning. They just restored power supply since morning, so I guess the weather has been really hot.

Since I was told to keep my self well hydrated that's what I do o even when I'm not thirsty i still try drink water and I breastfeed on demand cod I feel he might be thirsty too, he sweats seriously and it's only singlet we wear in d house now. Abuja heat that can roast someone. They took light not too long here light they just gave us yesterday after 3 days

Since he is on EBF, i think u need to breastfeed more. Are u sure he eats when you breastfeed him cos sometimes they dont. Do you hear the sound of him swallowing the milk? When i notice my son is not peeing as usual, i make sure i breastfeed him and i will notice the difference. Between 1:30 and 5 is a long and if well fed should have pee like 3 times.

Thanks teamie I know he feeds well but I will start taking note of that now.

The weather is damn hot and one is likely to get dehydrated from it. Have you noticed how concentrated our urine is these days. Pls breastfeed your baby often since you are doing EBF. You should equally take alot of water/fluid to meet baby's need as well. Keep an eye on his fontanelle (that area that breathes on his head), make sure it's not sunken. Cheers

Yes EBF, he's feeding well, I had to increase my water intake yesterday sha, it's d diaper he wore around 9 pm after his bath, he sweats though not really much, I noticed some were totally dry and some with just little smell of urine.
Like yesterday after church I removed his diaper from 1:30pm till some mins to 5 and he didn't pee throughout that period.

My ppl pls I have come again help a FTM, I noticed ds has not being peeing the way he does before. On Saturday afternoon I wanted to change his diaper after like 6 hrs and I was surprised to see the diaper still dry, Sunday morning too when I wanted to remove it it wasn't the normal heavy diaper we remove in the mornings. It was a little bit better yesterday, as I type now I checked his diaper and it's still dry since 10am that he's been wearing it has anyone experienced this? Between Saturday and today he has pooed twice.
