Teamie, since he has full hair, covering with cap again will make him sweat. What I did that worked for me is washing his hair once a week, then I use coconut oil for his hair too. My Lo's hair is still very soft. Just sprinkle small water on it, pour my coconut oil and we are ready to go. Learnt it on this thread too.

Teamie thanks, I have coconut oil at home so let me try it with the wide toothed comb. I don't wash daily too I just rinse with water when bathing him.

Thank you jare. its not that we wear cap always o, he just developed catarrh recently so I had to start wearing caps in the morning and remove at noon but I will stop now. I will get the wide toothed comb seems the one I'm using isn't wide enough then.

It's so heartbreaking that every time I comb his hair he cries and I use a big comb after I've made mouth we won't have our first cut till after 1st birthday.

Please someone tell me it'll be drama free for us make my heart no go tear to pieces, chai. We were 4 weeks yesterday and officially a month tomorrow. Lord save my soul in two weeks time

Don't worry sis. She will be drama free. Cole didn't give any issue except slight temperature in the night till the following day and I wore him only body suit with diaper before 24hrs we had forgotten we took immunisation.

Y didn't anyone informed me dat our 6weeks immunisation will come with so much drama , I slept with DS in my hands as d boy refuse to sleep in bed, his temperature was out of dis world though he didn't cry but I was scared to death...Thank God his temperature is down dis morning and he has been sleeping for D past 3hrs...

We were 3.1kg @ birth and weigh 3.7kg @ 6weeks I was expecting his weight to be more dan dat guess na to breastfeed him well before 10weeks Cos we must weigh 4.kg

Ahhh where's my baby getting weight from? We were 3.7 at birth 6wks we were 5kg.

I actually came to thank the SE mamas.
Yesterday I was at the market and I asked my SiL if uziza can be used to cook ogbono see said yes. So I got some. Got home and made my ogbono stock with meat and stockfish and kote fish. When the stock was cooking, I added the uziza leaves and fried my ogbono in another pan. Then I decided to taste the mixture just before adding ogbono and OMG! I finally got the exact peppersoup taste I've been longing for for over 10 years now.
Back in University in my 2nd year, I had a roomie /coursemates /bestie from Etsako. One weekend we both fell sick from home but had to be in school for a test on Monday. We both got to the hostel very tired and sickly but lucky for us, she brought peppersoup from home, we warmed it up and ate it. That was the best peppersoup I ever had in my entire life.....till today. I asked for the recipe (her mom made it) and to finally stumble upon it today......just like that! I still believe that peppersoup healed us cos we woke up the next day very well and healthy (I refuse to believe the antimalarials I took did it m )


It's 12.11 am and I'm eating peppersoup and ogi
