fynewaka:If you mean at least four points from each of the teams,GOOD cos four point out possible 18(from all the three teams) wont do united any good. 9-12 points from the top teams will be good as they will also cancel each other out. United must also avoid dropping point to any of the so called lesser teams. I hope we can see a winning streak of 18+ ONE UNITED

Don't panic says the Gaffer to all true fans United may have drawn the first two league games of the season but Sir Alex insists it's no cause for alarm. "I’m looking at the performances of the team in the first two games and saying to my players, ‘Well done’," the boss said at Friday's press conference. "We’re dropping points and that’s disappointing and frustrating because the performance levels have been very good. The important thing is to be patient now. The situation is recoverable, of course." |

Guy,u be mumu o,u use im sugar, bread(dangote flour),salt, pasta, cement , & NOW petrol, kerosine, diesel and u neva recognise him??how want come avoid him for ur life? U BETA START SAVING NOW FOR HIS NEXT PUBLICOFFER |
Business / Re: Dangote: I'm Worth Much More Than Oprah Winfrey! by niniman(m): 11:21pm On Jul 09, 2007 |
if a magazine claims a thread (nairaland like) with about 80k members have the highest number of membership in nigeria,is it wrong for Seun/Admin to say nairaland has more members(over 110k)?,do we then call it boasting?. Dangote is just stating a fact;his business empire dates back to the 70s;he is not even claiming to be the richest in africa-so why the beef. He has done his best by creating employmernt for many nigerians (someone said he underpaid his workers.at least they get job- you and i can emulate him to reduce unemployment in naija.u can overpay ur workers ni tie sha o. No biz empire anywhere world in the can survive without govt support:let bill Gates go against US govt, see what will happen to him. what of Roman Abramnovic(apologies to chelsea fans) can he go against russian govt. GOING AGAINST GOVT IS LIKE COMMITING SUICIDE FOR ANY BIZMAN. We should at least be proud of hardworking people like him who believes in nigeria (all/majority of his biz is in nigeria:he is hausa and his invesment is all over naija and concentrated in the north),and direct all our beef to the abachas, babangidas, obasanjos, harry akandes(yes-1m dollars for ibadan-ilorin road during shagari regime) of this world who stole from nigeria and did nothing to help the common man. Lastly, don't beef,read/learn about successful people, apply the positives to ur life, drop their negative attributes. |
Sports / Re: Nigeria Fa Suspend John Mikel Obi by niniman(m): 11:27pm On Jun 23, 2007 |
it is a necessary step for the nigerian football to move forward (same sanctions should apply to martins and yakubu).only players interested and ready to play for nigeria should be in the national team.nigeria is bigger than any player.if it's eyimba players that are ready to play for nigeria so be it,they would compete well in the nations cup than our foreign legion who are more concerned about gettin back into their club.what most of these players don't realise is that they will need the national team one day like kanu(using it to show his form to potential buyers) i think nfa too should champion the ratification of caf calender to correlate fifas' calender so all african fa can have less problems with clubs i wasted 45pounds to watch the most humilating match (nig v ghana in feb) in my life,it wasn't funny at all.our players played as if our national pride is not at stake.ghana fans and players even did their best to rub salt to our injured pride.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: At Last, Thierry Henry Is Off To Barca by niniman(m): 10:34pm On Jun 23, 2007 |
arsenal fans should be more concerned about the gaffer/future of the club not much about 30 yr old Henry.its bound to happen, its a golden rule of the big 4 in premiership to cash in on players above 30(viera,pires).Henry will be missed by all premiership fans especialy those of us who love to hate him(he scored a heart breaking goal against united at the emirate). The club should try to keep the moral high in the present squad and try to bring in experience players no infants to the team.when united sold ruud, everyone didn't gave them a chance but they played better football than when we have him, so arsenal wake up,so us arsenal is not a one man team, |
