whilst this might be a good idea, I think buyers are responsible for carrying out necessary checks on a vehicle before purchase.

Quite a few dealers started off without any issues and were constantly praised for their "clean" vehicles before things took a different turn.

@ Op should a deal go awry with any of the names you listed are you going to refund the customer?

the only way a verified list will work is if the dealers sign up for some sort of money or take back guarantee that protects the buyer if vehicle delivered is not as described.

there will always be dodgy dealers and naive customers. both parties need each other. so it's buyer beware.

also the fact that a car is "used" does not mean there must be random fixes to be made. many have gotten used cars in the past with no surprise fixes popping up other than the normal service.

Hello, up for sale is a graphite grey 2004 HONDA ACCORD.

the vehicle was bought new in Nigeria (not tokunboh). all relevant receipts available.

mileage: 130k

features: power Windows, electric drivers seat, steering audio controls, cruise control, a.c. works perfectly.

Disclosure: now remember this is a 12 year old vehicle so it is not in show room condition. below are are some obvious faults that I'm aware of.

* master power window control unit broken on drivers will need to be replaced.

*drivers side window doesn't go down so had it disabled.

* fender on passengers side was replaced and sprayed due to a fender bender.

*glove compartment doesn't open (don't know why anymore)

*6 CD changer doesn't work (although you have a fresh selection of 6 pre set radio stations )

*you might also need to replace the power steering pump. (makes a whirring sound)

As far as I know, Gsk (think its now owned by Suntory) has a strict verification/approval system before their ads go live.

An agency handles their online presence and OOH campaigns and I can almost guaranty that the brand manager for Lucozade Boost would never let this rather unfunny advert fly.

I'm also aware that Gsk does a lot of projects in partnership with the government e.g the Lagos state marathon (access bank) , lucozade 10k run etc. so why would they make such a crass joke?

But since its no longer under Gsk, I guess anything goes.

p.s out of curiosity I checked the Facebook page and couldnt find this ad plus the drawing style looks nothing like the rest......sooo my conclusion ----> FAKE

This is not a real Ad from Gsk. I don't see their logo on the "advert" and lucozade boost is not marketed this way. this looks like the work of a cheap graphic artist (most likely the owner of the blog).
