It boggles the mind how building a hotel can be classed as an achievement for a governor at the expense of the masses. If he had made his state investor friendly and provided the basics the businessmen and outside investors would build multiple hotels of this magnitude because it would make financial sense.

This is just another exercise in wasting public funds. Should they not be worried about cleaning up their waterways due to pollution or stimulating the fishing industry.

Those arguing that the rent is N5b per annum. (IT'S NOT), Why can't you simply do some research and show a similar apartment in Eko Atlantic that costs 5m USD per annum in rent? I'm pretty sure there can't be only one apartment going for that amount seeing how lucrative it is.

It's clearly an error on the side of EFCC or our usual modus operandi of over sensationalizing the costs of things to make it look more spectacular.

As far as i know renting in eko atlantic starts from N18M-N25M per annum.

a lot of you guys just don't get it. it's not about whether the text was nice or romantic. it was unsolicited and he abused that privilege because he got her number via the app.

it's all well and good now because it was a harmless message but what if he sent her a threatening message or passed her number to other starstruck people to torment her with calls and messages?

I think uber needs to find a way to mask numbers on the app simply because of things like this.

uber is not for matchmaking by stealth, you can have a conversation with the passenger during the journey but calling them after is a clear breach of ethics.

I find this his new accent and persona very false and pretentious and this is what our problem is in Nigeria, always quick to distance ourselves from where we come from once we see white people or see a little bit of money.

there's a difference between speaking clearly enough for your intended audience to understand and faking a combination of 3 fake accents because you want to show you have arrived.

can you imagine how stupid a French person will sound trying to put on an American/English accent ? this is exactly what wizkid is doing.
