@eguerilla you have made valid points and i agree with you. I also believe the agric industry needs a complete overhaul to keep up with the rest of the world. The initiative is commendable but i just don't believe the money set aside for this project will reach its intended target. Thanks for pointing that out. I guess im just a bit sceptical.

N60 Billion or $300 plus million dollars on phones is a ridiculous venture and smells of fraud. Surely using this money to provide modern farming machinery or better still provides loans to these farmers would go a long way. Having a phone is a choice, the Government has to business in trying to force them on people. what next, a special task force to train the farmers on how to use the phones?

Our tacit acceptance of mediocrity is a major part of the problem in Nigeria.

Onyenna: Do you think it's easy to read Pidgin English?....

That's my point....No it isnt easy to comprehend pidgin english in written form. In small digestable bits it's fine but this is too much and i can imagine not too easy to put together. As far as i'm concerned anything in pidgin english (written or oral e.g radio) tends to be laced with comedy.

this is just plain ignorant and i find it rather stupid and demeaning. While they're at it why not build a website in cockney, american street slangs and in patois what a pointless site. this why a large proportion of Nigerians can't string a coherent sentence in English together and think writing "fwend", "fnx", "ur" are all acceptable ways of communication. we just keep dumbing down
