This is the issue. ETH feels he’s matured enough to handle both sides. Maybe we fuvked up, because we were desperate to sign a good manager, we had a plan, RR + a good manager, only ETH was available. We had to bend a bit to sign him. If everything crashes, it’s on ETH, and then management for not sticking to the plan.

The idea of Greenwood not playing football at a high level again is wicked IMO. I have never understood it. If he's not caught cheating or affecting the integrity of the actual sport and is not in jail then he should get to play. Maybe not at United where the PR nightmare is terrible for everyone involved but I still believe he should get another opportunity to play and earn a living.

Companies carry out integrity and background checks, some may be okay having him on board since there is no conviction and he is qualified for the job. Top football clubs will want to avoid the publicity that comes with parading him in front of the world every weekend.

Maybe Saudi or Turkey (Middle East in general) will work, but he might be paid a wage that is similar to what local players earn. No leverage at all. Chai, and this guy is so young.

Assuming what you even say is true, That they wont bother him if he worked in a Bank but will if he is a football player, So is this beef because of how much he is likely to earn as a player vs if he worked in a Bank

I agree that these people are unreasonable, but we all should agree that the noise levels will be different (re: Green continuing with football vs going to a bank or somewhere else).

I believe in the justice system. The issue is the lady has decided to not proceed with the case. That’s the main issue. I would like to see the outcome and the club probably would have allowed Greenwood back if he is declared innocent. Until then, the public believes he is guilty because of the videos and stuff.

Again, I am not supporting the ‘woke’ culture people. Unfortunately, God forbid, if one enters their net, you would need to get the courts to declare you innocent. It’s a crazy world these days, we all should be very careful.

I honestly do not support the cancel culture. Unfortunately, there are careers that are just too exposed to the culture. We watch these guys every damn week. Greenwood can work in a bank with less attention. It is what it is!

The unfortunate thing is there are videos and pictures out there, innocence can’t be proven, he is guilty unless and until the case goes to court and he is cleared of all accusations.
