Celebrities / Obi Cubana Finally Speaks Out On The Driving Force Behind His Wealth . by Njokuobinna(m): 8:16am On Jul 20
OBI CUBANA FINALLY SPEAKS OUT!!

"I want to state this clearly, I am not the talking type or Social media interest free person"

"Many have questioned the type of boys and friends I have, to me, I hardly address anyone as my boy because we are all boys to God Almighty.

I don't have any boy who is into rituals, if you are my boy or my man because I like to address my boys as my men, it means you are working hard and you made your money in a clean way.

In 2013, I pushed 53 uneducated Oba boys into the market to learn trading. In 2017, I withdrew all of them from their Ogas and settled all of them with 3million Naira each and paid for their shops.

I linked 40 of them into importation and made them use my name and platform to import goods into the country. After two years, I checked on them how they were doing and find out some had issues and I supported them again to stand.

I am happy today that out of the 53 men, 38 are billionaires while the rest are in the level of a millionaire.

In 2018, I took 100 educated men out of streets and introduced them to the white men for business and today there are billionaires in dollars.

They also help me in their capacity when I require their help. All their friends both Nigeria and outside patronises me.

I am into hotel and club business and I have so many businesses I am brand ambassadors to.

I have alliance with spirit drinks and wines, I am brand to many businesses in the world.

It gives me joy to see my men do well, non of my hotel managers in Nigeria can small poverty, I encourage them to raise others from their local communities. I have never sacked a worker due to misconduct, I bring you in and speak to you the way you will understand.

I have this understanding that we should allow the stubborn people to exist and cool headed people to exist and we make use of them when their needs arises.

I don't believe in the supremacy of power rather I believe in the fare share of power and authority and allow everyone to feel belonged.

I have many uncountable people through my hotel business, I have encouraged many, I have made a lot of friends millionaires and billionaires because it gives me joy. Seeing them throw money around gives me happiness and they know, so anytime there are with me, they show such attitude of throwing money to please me.

Yes, I will gift 1 million to 300 Oba boys to start up business and link them up too to make it.

I have a lot of friends and associates and we are like brothers to each other. We love and encourage one another in good and bad as you have seen in my case that all of them came massively to support me.

Critics is normal and there are there to say what they want to say but when you are doing the right thing, you don't listen to what people say. If I have my way, I will also help those criticising me.

A lot of non Obas will still benefit from me because I am still in the business of making people great.

Cubana chief priest is my man and he is a jolly fellow. People mistake him for me, I am Obi Kubana and he is my Chief priest I hope you understand it now.

I am not into politics and I don't have interest in it till tomorrow. I respect those in politics because dey carry power. Lol hahaha.

My advice is they should identify talents and make them great, don't have any fear of who betrays you tomorrow, just make men and move, if they remember good if not be happy that they made it through you.

I didn't asked my boys/men for donations or help, I didn't also asked my friends for help or donations they did that on their own and I appreciated their efforts.

Gradually ala Igbo ga adinma.

Muhammadu Buhari, in his request letter to the Senate, as obtained by 4th Estate Reporters , said Nwoha's nomination complied with the provision of Section 3, sub -section 4 of the National Assembly Service Commission Act, 2014.

Rt. Hon. Amaechi Nwoha , a refined , articulate and boardroom political strategist has remained resourceful and relevant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Imo political leadership discuss, despite having left elective position since 2011 as Speaker of the 6th Imo State House of Assembly

As one of the most experienced former legislators in the state , Owelle Rochas Anayo Okorocha appointed Rt. Hon. Amaechi Nwoha as his Special Adviser on Legislative Matters and Government Liasion Officer to the State House of Assembly in 2011 immediately after his emergence as Imo governor; a position he held for three years until he was appointed b Chairman of the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISEC); between 2013 - 2018.

Politics / Public Safety: Life Returns To Imo Again- Njoku Macdonald Obinna by Njokuobinna(m): 8:35am On Jul 16
LIFE RETURNS TO IMO!

+ Njoku Macdonald Obinna
Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

George Onyejiuwa

Owerri, Imo State.

Owerri based Journalist .

In the last two months, life and businesses were almost kept on a standstill in Imo State occasioned by unexpected security challenge through the alleged sponsorship of enemies of the state and opposition elements , as their hate speech , actions and inactions brought about the emergence of the unknown gunmen and hoodlums whose mindless, vicious and nefarious activities brought a reign of terror into the state and unrelenting series of attacks on government facilites and security agents , causing unnecessary tension and ontold hardship.

The situation was so scary that most prominent citizens of the state fled to either Abuja or Lagos state for their personal safety. Even top government functionaries were not left out , as they also went underground following an attack on one of the commissioners in the state .

This ugly trend disrupted the once booming economic acitivites in the state even as citizens had to consciously observe a self -imposed curfew , and as a result , people are seen rushing back to their various homes earlier than expected to avoid being caught in the ravaging battle between the unknown gunmen and the combined team of security operatives ; either on reprisal or offensive mission.

During this testy and trying period , fun seekers stayed away from all the fun spots dotted across the nooks and crannies of Owerri, the Imo State capital.

However, to quell the ugly situation that has become a big threat to the economy of a viable Imo known for her signature status of being peaceful with a flourishing hospitality and tourism sector, as the state economy was almost shutdown . A rather dogged , proactive and responsive Governor Hope Uzodimma energized the security agencies in the state with the needed weaponry to tackle head-on the recalcitrant unknown gunmen and hoodlums whose only agenda was to bring the state and her citizens to their knees while scaring away prospective investors .

Today, the above narrative, to the glory of God , has completely changed as peace and tranquility has returned back to the state , especially, the capital metropolis of Owerri and to the urban centres across the state, as security agencies have succeeded in chasing out of the state hoodlums and remnants of the unknown gunmen who were hell-bent on destroying the common wealth of Imo and her people.

The good news remains that , life has returned to Imo as her citizens as well as their visitors can go about their businesses without any fear of molestation ; and can even go to sleep with their two eyes closed.

This heart - warming news and welcome development of a now peaceful and lively Imo , is the driving force behind a one -week security surveliance and documentary by the Special Adviser to Imo governor on Public Safety, Rt. Hon. Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe, as a select independent media practionners joined him in the tour for on -the- spot assessment and opinion samplings at the various locations visited across the state.

Ndi Imo, life has again returned back to the state as majority of the popular fun -spots; exotic bars, A -list hotels and night clubs are in full swing with fast growing patronage .

The media crew of 4th Estate Reporters led by Njoku Macdonald Obinna visited Old English Bar & Grill , De Angels Bar, Ibari Ogwa, Havanna Cinemas, Orange Room club, Protea Hotel, Concord Hotel, Immaculate Hotel, All Seasons Hotel, Actiz Fitness Centre, among others.

Relief market, Ekeukwu Owerre and other Shopping malls such as ShopRite , are all back to full business which was not possible two months ago.

On the alleged harrassmemt of innocent Imo citizens by security agents , frayed nerves have been calmed and fears removed from the people as they could now pass through the various police checkpoints and military road blocks without fear of raising their hands up , unlike during the ignoble days of security impasse in the state. In Imo today, you meet more friendly and professional security operatives whose eyes are on the ball ; securing the state from hoodlums and criminal elements - rather than molesting hardworking innocent citizens who go about their daily businesses to fend for their families.

Contrary to the propaganda shared on some sections of the media , especially on the social media, that Imo youths are brazenly killed by security agents in the state . The murmured crowd that attended the 15000 Imo Youth Empowernment Scheme by the State Government also exposed the malicious and mischievous lies of the scaremongers and opposition elements in the state .

Many thanks to the Imo State governor for the proactive and timely measures put in place to combat this security scourge head-on.

In truly demonstrating resilence , empathy and sympathy over the loss of lives in the state , the governor and his wife also reached out to the families of the victims of security impasse , while announcing the donation of Five Million Naira each to the immediate families of the deceased police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

As the Chief Security Officer in Imo State , Sen. Hope Uzodimma vowed that the state government will do everything possible and within her constitutional powers to keep the state safe for all !

The well attended non -denominational prayer summit and Thanksgiving service at the Heroes Square ,Owerri, is a loud testimony that the peace of God has eventually returned back to Imo State.

Ndi Imo rejoice , the storm is over!
God has finally answered our prayers !!

Life has returned to Imo State again !

To God be the glory !

Politics / Anambra 2021: Movement For Dr. Godwin Maduka Endorses Valentine Ozigbo For Gover by Njokuobinna(m): 10:34pm On Jul 15
ANAMBRA 2021: 'MOVEMENT FOR DR GODWIN MADUKA' ENDORSE VALENTINE OZIGBO FOR GOVERNOR, COLLAPSE STRUCTURE

Valentine Ozigbo, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) flag-bearer for the 2021 Anambra governorship election, continues to enjoy wide acceptability as the 'Movement for Dr Godwin Maduka' endorsed his candidacy.

On Sunday, July 11, 2021, the 'Movement for Dr Godwin Maduka', a prominent grassroots political group, formally announced that it had collapsed its structure and unanimously endorsed Mr Ozigbo for the governorship of Anambra.

In a courtesy visit to Ozigbo at the VCO Campaign Office in Udoka Estate, Hon Tochukwu Ilo, the group's leader, congratulated the respected business leader for the tremendous work that translated to victory at the PDP primary election which held on June 26, 2021 at the Women's Development Centre in Awka.

Ilo, who is a former Director-General of Godwin Maduka Foundation, described the emergence of Ozigbo as "divine", describing him as a 'unifier, a strategic achiever and global economist' who possesses the requisite qualities to govern Anambra State.

"We are here today for several reasons, but top on the list is to convey our heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Valentine Ozigbo, the duly elected candidate and flag-bearer of the PDP in Anambra State for a well-deserved victory," Mr Ilo said.

"We also wish to congratulate the leadership of our great party, the PDP, for the wisdom employed in the conduct of the primary election that produced Ozigbo. Despite the challenges that bedevilled the party in the days and weeks preceding the election, the party leadership did its best to ensure that the election was free, fair and credible."

Ilo explained that the decision to endorse Ozigbo came after careful analysis of the events surrounding the conduct of the primary election, adding that the personality of Mr Ozigbo also greatly influenced them.

According to Ilo, Ozigbo has demonstrated preparedness, grit and zeal, and considering his track record of excellence, Anambra will experience positive transformation if he is given the mandate.

"Valentine Ozigbo is my friend and colleague. We worked together in the financial sector. Ozigbo proved to be a goal-getter those days at the bank, always meeting targets and breaking new grounds. An articulate manager of human and material resources, Ozigbo transformed Transcorp Hilton, raising the bar and positioning it as the number one business hotel in Africa".

"His days at the bank and Transcorp Plc shaped him into a proactive leader, one who assesses situations and takes active charge of his roles and duties. He carries everyone along, always willing to listen and contribute where necessary. These and many more reasons gave us the confidence to come today and declare our total support for his candidacy." Mr Ilo ended.

Another member of the group, Chief Chukwudi Ani, who also identified as a former colleague of Ozigbo in the banking industry, described Ozigbo as "a born leader".

In his reaction, Valentine Ozigbo thanked the group for visiting at this strategic time, their kind words, and their commitment to the growth and unity of the PDP and Anambra State.

"I am overwhelmed with joy by your gesture of solidarity. This show of camaraderie is what our party needs at this moment. Once we won the primary, I began consulting within and outside the PDP to ensure a broadly inclusive, better and brighter Anambra we want to create," Ozigbo, a multiple-award-winning global CEO, said.

"I appreciate your endorsement, and I am convinced that as partners, we can actualise the grand vision I have for Ndi Anambra."

Other members of the movement present at the endorsement include Chief Richard Mmaduaburochukwu, Chairman OAU Awka branch; Chief Sunny Nnebe, CEO Sunned Investment Limited; Mr Emeka Emeribe, Uche Anyaegbu, Okafor Martin and others.

Some directors and senior members of the VCO Campaign Organisation were also present to witness the endorsement including, Hon Tim Egboka, Director for Contacts and Mobilisation; Hon Eucharia Azodo, Director for Women and Welfare; Chief Tony Offiah, Director for Finance; Hon Ejike Oguebego, Director for Inter and Intra Party Affairs. Others present are Lady Love Ebe, former PDP Women Leader Anambra State; and Sir Izuchukwu Oraelosi, Manager VCO Foundation.

Mr Obinna Ufudo, former President and Group CEO Transcorp Plc and a close friend to Ozigbo was also present.

Politics / Breaking : My Health Deteriorating, I May Die In Detention, Nnamdi Kanu Cries Ou by Njokuobinna(m): 10:38pm On Jul 14
BREAKING NEWS!!!!

MY HEALTH DETERIORATING, I MAY DIE IN DETENTION, NNAMDI KANU TELLS COURT: AS HE SEEKS TRANSFER FROM DSS CUSTODY TO KUJE CORRECTIONAL CENTRE .

Detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has filed an application before the Federal High Court in Abuja, seeking to be transferred from the custody of the Department of State Service, DSS, to the Nigerian Correctional Service Centre in Kuje.

Kanu, in the application he filed through his team of lawyers led by Mr Ifeanyi Ejiofor, decried that he has been denied access to his medical doctors.

He said he might die in the custody of the DSS if nothing was done to urgently address his deteriorating health condition.

He specifically applied for an order of the trial court, “directing the transfer of the Applicant from the custody of the National Headquarters of the State Security Service to the Nigerian Correctional Service Centre in Kuje, Abuja, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, where he was initially detained before he was granted bail, pending the determination of the charge”.

As well as, “An order of this Honourable Court directing the Defendant/Applicant’s custodian, to grant access to his medical experts/doctors to carry out a comprehensive independent medical examination of the defendant/applicant’s health condition/status, while in custody.”

It will be recalled that Kanu whose whereabout was hitherto unknown, was on June 27 returned back to the country after he was arrested from a yet to be confirmed African country.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, SAN, had insisted that he lawfully “intercepted” as a result of a collaborative effort of various security agencies in the country.

However, Kanu’s lawyer, Ejiofor, disclosed that his client was on June 18, illegally arrested at the airport and detained for eight days by Kenya’s Special Police Force before he was eventually handed over to their Nigerian counterpart.

Ejiofor alleged that the IPOB leader was tortured and subjected to various forms of inhuman treatment in Kenya, a situation he said worsened his health condition.

Trial Justice Binta Nyako had upon Kanu’s return to Nigeria, ordered his remand in DSS custody, even as his trial on a treasonable felony charge, which was initially fixed for October, was brought forward to June 26.

Meanwhile, in the fresh application, Kanu alleged that he has been “subjected to mental and psychological torture” by the DSS, saying it would be in the interest of justice for the court to order his transfer to the Nigerian Correctional Service Centre which he described as “an impartial facility that has no interest whatsoever” in the outcome of his trial.

An affidavit he attached in support of the application, read: “That this charge NO. FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015 came upon 29th June 2021 and the Applicant was brought before the Court in Chains, handcuffs and leg-cuffs, blindfolded, and was consequently remanded in the custody of the State Security Service, even though there was no legal representation for the Defendant, and the matter was therefore adjourned to the 26th day of July 2021 for trial.

“That the Counsel to the Applicant was not served with any hearing notice before the appearance of the applicant in Court, neither were they aware that any action was scheduled to take place in the criminal charge NO. FCH/ABJ/CR/383/2015 on that 29th June 2021.

“That on 30th June 2021, the Applicant’s Solicitors formally wrote to the State Security Service to allow the Applicant solicitors have access to the Applicant. A copy of the said letter is hereby attached and marked as Exhibit MNK 1. That on 2nd July 2021, at about 12:32 pm, the State Security Service called me to inform me that our request to visit the Applicant has been approved and that I should come by 4:00 pm to see Defendant.

“That on the said 2nd July 2021 at about 5:00 pm, at the State Security Headquarters, in Abuja, the Applicant informed me of the following facts which I verily believed to be accurate and correct as follows; That he was kidnapped and/or abducted by Kenyan Security Forces on 19th June 2021, specifically at Nairobi Airport.

“That he was detained by the personnel of the Kenyan Police Force for eight days, and was throughout this period of detention subjected to all forms of inhuman treatment, brutal torture, causing grave and severe heart problem that almost took his life. That he was detained in an unconventional facility, not necessarily a police detention center in Kenya.

“That throughout this detention in Kenya, he was never allowed access to his relatives before he was handed over to their Nigerian Security counterparts who smuggled him into Nigeria in clear violation of his rights.

“That since he was smuggled into this country on 27th June 2021, he has been kept in solitary confinement without access to his family members, relatives, wife, cousins, and children, except his lawyer, who only visits after they must secure the approval and endorsement of the Director-General of the State Security Service, which approval are not usually granted as a matter of course.

“That he is still being subjected to mental and psychological torture by his custodians, on account of the conditions of his solitary confinement. That an ECG examination was carried out on Defendant, and it was discovered that Defendant’s heart had been enlarged by more than 13 per cent, posing a serious threat and danger to Defendant’s life.

“That there is a need for the Defendant to have access to his Medical Doctors to avert the danger looming against the life of the Defendant. That the health personnel attending to the Defendant in the custody of the State Security Service is not adequate considering the circumstances of the Defendant’s health condition.

“That the Defendant requires the services of his medical experts as his medical records issued by the Chief Cardiologist of Nairobi Hospital who has the Defendant’s medical records, mainly, before the arrest/abduction of the Applicant shows a debilitating medical condition. Copies of these medical records showing the Applicant’s subsisting health condition are hereby attached and marked as Exhibit MNK.

“That if the health condition of the Defendant is not addressed most promptly, the Defendant may die in custody, even before his trial. It is essential that Defendant’s Medical Experts/Consultants be allowed to carry out proper, thorough, and independent medical examinations of Defendant to save Defendant’s life.

“That the Defendant needs regular medical observation/attention by the Defendant’s Medical specialists/Consultants in Cardiology. That the Defendant’s Medical Specialists (including the Chief Cardiologist of Nairobi Hospital) in Kenya have his complete medical records that will easily aid the examination of the Defendant and treatment thereof.

“That the Defendant undertakes to bear any cost incidental to getting the medical experts to attend to his ill health while in custody. The defendant can only be alive to stand his trial, which cannot be guaranteed because of his rapidly deteriorating health situation.

“The Defendant cannot effectively put up a defense to the charge against him, in his present deteriorating health condition. That I know that upon the arraignment of the Applicant, this Honourable Court in its wisdom initially remanded the Applicant in Kuje Correctional Service Centre, where he was held for almost two years before bail was consequently granted to the Applicant.

“That for the almost two years the Applicant was in custody in Kuje Correctional Facility, there was never any complaint about any form of misconduct against him. That the State Security Service is not a detention Centre, neither does it have the requisite custodial facilities to enhance the conditions of the occupants/inmates.

“That the Nigerian Correctional Service Centre is an impartial facility that has no interest whatsoever in the outcome of this charge. That the Nigerian Correctional Service Centre is the only body statutorily empowered to keep custody of persons facing criminal trial in courts, hence, the necessity to transfer the Applicant to the Nigerian Correctional Service Center Kuje.

“That it will serve the interest of Justice and enhance fair hearing for this Honourable Court to transfer the Applicant from the State Security Service to the Nigerian Correctional Service Centre in Kuje, Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court.

“That the Applicant has very limited access to his lawyers, who can only visit him after the approval of the Director of the State Security Services has been first sought and obtained, which said approval in most cases, takes days and that the above situation would greatly impede the Defendant’s preparation for his defense to the charge against him.

“That the favorable consideration of this application is compelling in the circumstance of the present Notice for the resumption of the Court’s Annual vacation, which would affect the hearing on the substantive charge already slated for the 26th Day of July 2021. That fair hearing can only be guaranteed when the Applicant is not remanded in the custody of his accusers.

“That it is a fact that Justice must not only be done but must be seen to be done. That it will greatly aid and serve the interest of Justice if this application is granted. That the respondent will not be prejudiced by the grant of this application. That I depose to this affidavit in good faith believing same to be true and correct and in accordance with the oath Act.”

It will be recalled that Kanu was on April 25, 2016, released on bail by the court on health ground, after he had spent about a year and seven months in detention.

To secure his release, the Senator representing Abia South, Enyinnaya Abaribe, an Accountant, Mr Tochukwu Uchendu and a Jewish High Priest, Emmanu El- Salom Oka BenMadu, on April 28, 2016, signed an undertaking to ensure his attendance in court.

Nevertheless, following the disappearance of Defendant after he was released on bail, the court, on November 14, 2018, ordered the three sureties to forfeit the N100million bail bond they each consented to.

Likewise, the court, on March 28, 2019, revoked Kanu’s bail and issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

Kanu’s lawyer had protested the revocation of his client’s bail, insisting that his disappearance was occasioned by the unwarranted invasion of his home at Afaraukwu in Abia State by the Nigerian Army, a development he said led to the death of many innocent persons that were in the compound at the time of the invasion.

Politics / Cat And Mouse Game By Hon. Ozurigbo And Mr. Cosmos Iwuagwu Against Gov. Uzodimma by Njokuobinna(m): 11:15am On Jul 13
CAT AND MOUSE GAME BY HON OZB UGONNA OZURIGBO AND MR COSMOS IWUAGWU WITH GOV HOPE UZODIMMA..

A WEEK AGO HON OZB UGONNA OZURIGBO WAS WITH SENATOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA ETC TO PROTEST AGAINST GOV UZODIMMA AT APC HEADQUARTERS ABUJA THEREAFTER OZB GOES TO GOVERNMENT HOUSE AT NIGHT TO BEG GOV UZODIMMA!*

Governor hope Uzodimma is not a political neophyte rather a grandmaster in the game!*

Gov Uzodimma I know will not fall for any artificial mole, the real mole and or a saboteur!!

What makes out going IMC chairman of Nwangele LGA Mr Cosmos Iwuagwu think that the only way he can retain his seat, stay put as IMC chairman for life, is by concocting and conjuring at this time his ability to bring hon Ozb ugonna Ozurigbo on the side of Gov Uzodimma?

For one year Mr Cosmos Iwuagwu has been the Imc chairman of Nwangele LGA he didn't bring hon Ozb Ugonna Ozurigbo anywhere near to work with Gov Uzodimma and couldn't even get Ozb to be part of Nwangele delegation that visited Gov Uzodimma in June 2021 at the Exco chamber when Imo state was at the height of insecurity, to declare support and pledge loyalty. Why now?

Yes hon Ozb ugonna Ozurigbo is entitle to formally inform His Excellency of his father's death and invite His Excellency for the burial...but Ozb didn't lay the foundation or create the enabling environment for such political romance and courtesy timeously and sustained it for some reasonable time prior now.

If the Hon Ozb and Cosmos Iwuagwu's night moves at the Governemnt house was any thing to go with, why didn't Hon Ozb and Cosmos use Nwangele leaders who are close to Gov Uzodimma to make such moves?. Why not Deputy speaker hon amara Iwuanyanwu, why not Dr C.C Osuala, why not Apex leader Johnbosco Ozigbu PhD needless to emphasize other Nwangele born stakeholders Ozb could have used to reach and visit Gov Uzodimma and with such people inline, it would be Nwangele affair, Nwangele for Nwangele and this style would have created some level of confidence in the move. Rather Ozb and Cosmos preferred to use Barr Ralph Nwosu Commissioner for works from Orsu .

Yes any body can use any body close to Gov Uzodimma to reach His Excellency but not in all matters and not a matter Nwangele leaders should be in the forefront to give Gov Uzodimma the lifting assurances to deal.

Cosmos Iwuagwu must be told at this point without mincing words that he is not the only one loyal to Gov Uzodimma in Nwangele and on the list waiting for Gov Uzodimma's appointment. It is turn by turn. If you take your turn and enjoyed it for sometime please allow others to take theirs.

Hon Ozb Ugonna Ozurigbo must also be told that he has enjoyed two terms at IMHA with former Gov Rochas Okorocha, rose to Deputy Speaker and the on going one term at the House of representatives; and that 2023 is the turn for another person and Isu or Njaba local government to produce the next member to represent Nkwerre,Isu, Njaba, Nwangele federal constituency.

Yes Hon Ozb Ugonna Ozurigbo is entitle to do 2nd term but for political exigencies and the present political architecture with Gov Uzodimma as the leader and the new sheriff in town, it won't work period.

With Senator Okorocha as a known political enemy of Gov Uzodimma, no Rochas boy who had benefited 12 years of Rochas legacies should expect to benefit from Gov Uzodimma's legacies as Gov Uzodimma have many of his boys to send to National Assembly in 2023.

Ebubeagu Ekenulo is just a political activist and whistleblower...no vex ooh.

Politics / Imo Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu Marks His Birthday In Style. by Njokuobinna(m): 11:56am On Jul 06
CEREBRATING A PROACTIVE , DYNAMIC AND YOUTHFUL IMO DEPUTY SPEAKER, RT. HON. AMARA IWUANYANWU AS HE MARKS HIS BIRTHDAY :

+ Njoku Macdonald Obinna

Owerri, Imo State.

On a special day like this , we throw caution to the wind while rolling the drums to celebrate a man of grace , one of Imo State finest , dynamic and cerebral lawmakers ; Nigeria's youngest and most youthful Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu (Mr. Capacity ), on the occasion marking his eventful birthday celebration .

At your first attempt for elective position, you took the world by surprise through your proactive , well coordinated , robust, effective , responsive and people -tailored campaign mantra and formidable political structure; traversing the lengths and breadths , nooks and crannies of the 11 wards ; consulting the youths, market women, religious leaders as well as critical stakeholders in the LGA and across the Federal Constituency- with a message of hope and assurances for a Greater Nwangele under your watch , if elected !

As a man of few words but a powerful boardroom political strategist, you have , over the years , patiently learnt the ropes and dynamics of power ; exposing yourself to the noiseless leadership style of His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma .

The above assertion is evident in a number of political offices , public trust and national assignments you had held in the All Progressives Congress (APC) before your bold step in 2019 to represent the good people of Nwangele Constituency at the Imo State House of Assembly: And the positions included, but not limited to:

1. Committee Secretary,
APC 2015 Governorship Pimaries ,
Akwa Ibom State.

2. Committee Secretary,
APC 2016 Governorship Primaries,
Edo State.

3. Secretary,
APC Kogi State Registeration and Revalidation Exercise 2016.

4. Zonal Committee Financial Secretary,

APC South-East Zone, 2018.

5. Member, Ekiti State Election Implementation Committee, 2018. This is outside state assignments, now , as a lawmaker and Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly; since his election in 2019.

With your exploits in the real estate business before your fora into politics, rich profile within the corporate sharks of the banking industry and social re -engineering in the political space , the name 'CAPACITY' did not come to many keen observers of your growing political trajectory by surprise. To them, the older you grow the more useful you become to the society.

Having graciously climbed the Imo political leadership pyramid given your most revered and strategic position as the second highest ranking member of the Imo State House of Assembly; and one of the avowed supporters of Sen. Hope Uzodimma; an uncompromised Apostle of the Shared Prosperity Administration. Posterity will be fair to you with your current legislative outings even as you have continued to work very assiduously to making this reflect on the members of your immediate Constituency; Nwangele LGA.

However, within your two years in office as a member of the 9th Imo State of Assembly , any honest , indpendent and dispassionate assessemnt of your legislative performance , will score you high judging by your constituency projects, youth empowernment programs, apart from your sponsored Bills and motions which is your primary assignment as a lawmaker .

While others silently cry over paucity of funds as it is quite understandable in the state , you have gone out of your way to build 11 functional water projects worth millions of Naira across all the communities in Nwangele LGA, donated over 8 classy utility cars to your constituents , built a 3 -bedroom bungalow flat for a poor indigent member of your constituency , single - handedly built and donated a 4 -bedroom state -of - art - Parsonage to the New Covenant Church Amuzi, Dim -Na -Nume , Nwangele LGA, monthly payment of salaries to 105 Aides in the LGA, constructed two befitting markets in Abajah and Abba Autonomous Communities, respectively , sports development through the N3million Yearly Football Competition tagged : ' Capacity Nwangele Youth Tournament'. Distribution of minding -blowing food palliatives to over 3000 homes in Nwangele LGA during the ravaging COVID-19 global pendemic, among others.

From the light of above, with your current sterling performance and growing political trajectory through robust representation and proactive leadership, if sustained to a conclusive end, we see you aspiring higher to effectively give true definition to your legislative functions as an egghead and sound legislator ; for the overall interest of the generality of your immediate Nwangele Constituency in particular and Imo State in general.

Therefore , I pray God that beautiful lines shall continue to fall for your sake at pleasant places. Amen !

Be assured, dear brother , friend , leader and ally , the assurnances of my esteem regard , support and solidarity .

Happy birthday, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu :

Member, representating Nwangele Constituency.

Politics / Anambra Governorship Race: Valentine Ozigbo Meets Atiku, Ekwunife, Oduah, Chidok by Njokuobinna(m): 6:08pm On Jul 03
ANAMBRA 2021: VALENTINE OZIGBO MEETS ATIKU, EKWUNIFE, AZUBOGU, CHIDOKA, ODUAH, OTHERS.

As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) begins preparations for the November 6 Anambra governorship election, several party leaders, aspirants, and stakeholders have joined in throwing their support behind the party's flag-bearer, Valentine Ozigbo.

Mr Ozigbo received his certificate of return on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the PDP headquarters in Wadata House, Abuja, after emerging as the party's candidate at the primary election held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, Awka.

In the run-up to the PDP primary election, Ozigbo had iterated the importance of post-primary unity and has reached out to co-aspirants and party leaders to ensure the PDP wins at the poll.

After picking up his certificate of return, Ozigbo paid a courtesy visit to a former Nigerian Vice-President and the PDP's presidential candidate in the 2019 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. The closed-door meeting dwelled on ideas and strategies on the way forward ahead of the poll.

Ozigbo also visited one of the prominent aspirants in the just-concluded primary, Senator Uche Ekwunife, at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja. Ekwunife was the second-runner up behind Ozigbo at the primary election and was one of the first dignitaries to congratulate him after his victory.

He also met with Senator Stella Oduah who represents Anambra North at the National Assembly, Chief Osita Chidoka, a former aviation minister, and several other notable party leaders.

"In the past few years, the PDP has shown readiness to evolve and be more democratic. This new direction is evident by the goodwill my candidacy has received since my emergence on Saturday. I have started the process of ensuring that every stakeholder is on the same page as we approach the November election," Ozigbo remarked.

Meanwhile, several political stakeholders, co-aspirants, and groups have congratulated Mr Ozigbo on his emergence as the party's candidate.

In a congratulatory statement, one of the aspirants, Dr Tony Nwoye, agreed that the party delegates have made their choice and urged other aspirants to work with Ozigbo to ensure victory at the November 6, 2021 polls.

Dr Nwoye expressed readiness to work with Ozigbo and advised him to extend the hand of fellowship to other aspirants and party stakeholders who might feel aggrieved with the outcome of the process.

Mr Oseloka Obaze, the PDP candidate in the 2017 governorship election in Anambra,, congratulated Mr Ozigbo on clinching the party's ticket. Obaze also pledged to support him ahead of the election.

"There's more work left to do to capture Govt. House, Awka, and reunite our great party ahead of the November 6 elections. We must also all rally to the cause and collectively work hard to reconcile our party.

"As a PDP stakeholder, I offer my full and unalloyed support to Val personally and the VCO team in the campaign ahead and in every effort to rebuild our party. Now that the primaries are over, I call on all the PDP aspirants to come out and fully support Mr Ozigbo so that we can collectively achieve victory on November 6, 2021," Obaze remarked.

On Friday, July 2, 2021, Mr Ozigbo visited Engr Chris Azubogu, the federal lawmaker representing Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives. The legislator, also a former PDP aspirant in June's primary, congratulated Ozigbo and gave assurances of his support and co-operation towards winning the November 6 guber poll.

"We agreed on the need to sustain his ongoing reach out to other leaders of our state so that we all will be on the same page towards winning the election and driving the state development," Engr Azubodu said.

An aspirant, Chief Emeka Etiaba (SAN), also congratulated Ozigbo, describing his victory as "God-delivered" and wished him victory at the polls.

"Your way pleased God, and he gathered unlikely men to work for you. I say congrats to you once again, and I urge you to focus on God and not little gods for your eventual success," Chief Etiaba said in a short statement.

Another former aspirant, Dr Ifedi Okwenna declared that "as a party man", he is obligated to support Ozigbo ahead of the election.

"I congratulate Val Ozigbo and my Party, PDP, and I promise to work for our collective success," his statement read.

Lady Chidi Onyemelukwe, a former aspirant, congratulated Ozigbo, describing his victory as a reflection of the people's voice.

"I congratulate my friend and brother Valentine Chineto Ozigbo on his emergence as the flag bearer of our great party," Lady Onyemelukwe wrote.

"The people have spoken; God has spoken. Our main journey as the PDP family to the seat of government house Awka starts in earnest. I urge our entire PDP family to put hands together to ensure that this becomes a reality come November 6, 2021. It is long overdue. Together we can, and together we will!"

SEN. GABRIEL SUSWAM PERFORMS THE OFFICIAL FLAG-OFF OF MGBUBIRANWO ROAD, EMUOHA LGA, RIVERS STATE, AMID COMMENDATIONS.

We sincerely appreciate H.E Senator Gabriel Suswam, former Governor of Benue State for doing us the honour of flagging off the Mgbuitanwo Road in Emuoha LGA of Rivers State.

Members of the PDP and those that supported us can proudly walk with their shoulders high as they can show what we have done across Rivers State. We believe politics shouldn't be focused on any single individual's benefit but on the collective development of our communities. Mgbuitanwo people have been unlucky in this regard as they have held top positions in Government with little impact on the community. People of Emuoha should be bold enough to ask members of the APC if the APC has brought any benefit to their people.

The Mgbuitanwo road is to be constructed by Julius Berger Nigeria and is designed to have an averge life span of 40 years. It will be fitted with streetlights and would connect the East/West Road to Ogbakiri Road and other communities in Emuoha LGA.

ANAMBRA PDP DELEGATES ALLEGEDLY DUBBED BILLIONAIRE MEDICAL DOCTOR AND ASPIRANT DURING GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARIES .

Anambra: US-Based Medical Doctor sweats as campaign coordinators run away with N225m meant for delegates during primaries

For billionaire governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Godwin Maduka, yesterday, Saturday, June 26, 2021, was a day he will never forget, as 10 of his campaign coordinators allegedly absconded with his $450,000 (about N225 million) during the Anambra governorship primary election held at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre in Awka, the state capital.

An eye-witness at the scene of the PDP guber primary said the America-based medical doctor-turned-politician had earmarked the money for wooing of the super delegates from each of the 21 local government areas of the state.

The source said: “About 10 of his staff reportedly collected the cash from him at the hotel where he was lodging and became unreachable later on.

“Lion (Dr Maduka) is fuming right now. Some of his guys just disappeared into thin air with his money. I think they see it as their only chance to get anything out of Maduka.

“I believe they acted because things are not looking good for him as he does not have the required delegates to swing the primary in his favour.

“They must have connived to run away with the money because their numbers have been switched off.”

Other sources confirmed that Maduka was seen at the event ground at about 5.17 p.m. pacing up and down on the phone and screaming at anybody who approached him.

Dr Maduka eventually got only 5 votes during the election won by technocrat Valentine Ozigbo with 62 votes. (News Express).

Politics / Prof. Charles Soludo Gives Acceptance Speech After His Emergence As APGA Candida by Njokuobinna(m): 9:50pm On Jun 23
ACCEPTANCE SPEECH

Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR.

(After the nomination by APGA Delegates as the Party’s Candidate for the November 6, 2021 Governorship election in Anambra: Primaries held at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka; on Wednesday, 23rd June, 2021)

1. PROTOCOL:
*******

2. With humility, gratitude, and utter submission to the will of God, I accept your nomination as the gubernatorial candidate of APGA in the November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship election. I thank the Alpha and Omega who, in His infinite wisdom decided that I should come from Anambra State of Nigeria; and who has abundantly blessed me beyond imagination. In gratitude to Him, I will devote every minute of my remaining life on earth to serve Him by working to leave here better than I met it. This moment is God’s time, and God’s time is “the time”!

3. At this moment, I offer nothing but statements of gratitude. First, let me thank you all, our esteemed APGA delegates and thousands of our members whom you represent, for the mandate to fly our flag. I am grateful to our members at the 326 wards, local government and state executives; members of NWC, BOT and NEC. I am particularly grateful to our indefatigable national chairman, Ozonkpu (Dr) Victor Ike Oye and his dear wife who foresaw and worked extremely hard for this day. You have proved to be an uncommon leader.

Our biggest thanks go to our national leader/BOT Chairman and ably working governor of Anambra, Chief (Sir) Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano and his amiable and supportive wife. Akpokuedike! You have shown exemplary leadership and statesmanship. I deeply treasure your belief, courage, iron-clad commitment and leadership on this project. Under you and our national chairman, APGA is stronger as Nigeria’s third largest political party and a clear leader in several ways. We shall have a more auspicious time to celebrate you!

I want to thank my wife and children for their love. I understand your concerns and sacrifices, and appreciate your understanding and prayers. Our God is on the throne!

4. Let me also thank all the 31 self-funding support groups with over 200,000 members (ASSG, U-AYA/U-AWA), as well as the millions of Ndi Anambra who have been praying and demanding that I should step out to serve--- especially at these challenging times in Nigeria. I am deeply grateful to the clergy, the traditional rulers, ASATU, ASMATA, various youth and women organizations, trade and professional associations, CSOs, NGOs, etc who have rallied behind us. We thank all Nigerians from other states who have also urged and supported us. Let me particularly thank the INEC, under the sterling leadership of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu for its professionalism, especially in monitoring today’s primaries. APGA is a law abiding party that is thorough about due process. It has never neglected or breached due process/electoral law: not now, not in the future! We also appreciate the Security agencies.

5. To the gallant co-aspirants, I salute your courage and participation in the democratic process. Let me offer my hand of fellowship, and look forward to a partnership with all of you for greater APGA and for greater Anambra.

6. To the millions of Ndi Anambra, I say: This is your moment, seize it! The November election is a very consequential election for the state. It will determine in which direction and speed of our march towards progress or retrogression. We are a unique state, richly blessed with exceptionally productive human capital scattered all over the world but struggling to build a livable and prosperous homeland. Past governors tried their best. Gov. Mbadinuju established Anambra State University; Governor Ngige built some strategic roads; while Gov Peter Obi as an APGA governor built more roads and in compliance to APGA manifesto, touched other sectors. Our current governor and leader of APGA, has taken it to the next level by combining both the micro and macro dimensions of governance: unprecedented security, Light up Anambra, 17 bridges and roads, community choose your projects; institutionalization of governance; and now the Anambra international cargo/passenger airport, international conference centre, Awka township stadium, etc. A fundamental summary measure of APGA government’s impact on the welfare of the people is the poverty incidence. According to the NBS, poverty incidence in Anambra declined from 53% in 2010 to 14.78% in 2020. There is no state government with comparable revenue that is doing better. So, partisan politics aside, APGA is serving the people better, and Ndi Anambra don’t want to go back to Egypt!

7. Of course, the road to Anambra becoming a middle to upper income, livable and prosperous homeland will remain a work-in-progress for a while. The government over the next four years will have to lay the foundation for the Anambra Vision 2070. Ours is a land of infinite possibilities and opportunities. We need continuity, consolidation, and transformation to build on the existing foundation and maximize our potentials. We need to unite and mobilize the creative energies and capital of our people all over the world as well as other investors to live out the essence of our motto: “Light of the Nation”. We shall unveil our manifesto at the launch of the campaign in August.

8. To our beloved people of Anambra, here I come! I am a poor boy whom God has lifted and gifted to serve. To the glory of God, I reached the peak of my professional career in my 30’s; had the privilege of living in Ethiopia, U.K, USA, and travelled to 45 other countries as itinerant scholar and consultant to 20 international development and financial institutions before I was called to serve the FGN in 2003. Until 2009, I served as Chief Economic Adviser to President Obasanjo; CEO of National Planning Commission; Governor of Central Bank; Chairman of Nigerian Mint; founding Chairman of AFC; and chair or member of over 25 committees. To the glory of God, I have also been decorated with over 200 national/international awards including variously Nigeria’s Man of the Year, Nigeria’s third highest national honour (CFR), global and African best governor of central bank, one of most influential Africans; etc. Currently, I serve as a member of Presidential Economic Advisory Council.

9. At this stage, I believe it is time to serve my people. As a poor village boy who has been especially blessed by God (Charlie nwa Mgbafor), I desire to give back to society through selfless public service. If you employ me as your Chief Servant come November, I hope to deploy all the global and national experiences and networks as well as local knowledge/experience as a village boy to make you proud. This is even more so at this peculiar moment in our history as Nigeria grapples with transition to post oil and post covid world as well as insecurity, and ethno-religious agitations. I am a Pan-Africanist, and hope to work with leaders in the South East and Nigeria to create that next Nigeria that will be the pride of the black race.

10. Let me at this moment wish other political parties success in their primaries and look forward to professional and issue-based campaigns. Opinion polls also show that majority of other party members say they will support Soludo if APGA nominates him. To them I say, here I am, APGA has nominated Soludo! We can understand the desperation of some opposition elements who believe that the only way to stop Soludo from winning is to stop him from being a candidate. Now that I am eventually a candidate, let’s now allow the people to choose in a free and fair election.

11. To our hundreds of thousands of supporters, the real work begins soon. Yes, APGA is our own, and Anambra is APGA, kpomkwem! At the last elections, APGA won 21 out of 21 local governments and 80% of State Assembly seats. But we won’t take any vote for granted: we will work hard to earn every vote. We will triple our efforts and campaign everywhere and reach everyone. Our target is not only 21/21 LGAs, but 326 out of 326 wards and breaking the one million votes mark in a free, fair, and transparent election.

12. Once again, thanks for this overwhelming mandate. The battle belongs to God, and who can battle with the Lord?

Politics / Obsequies Of A Good: As Elder Bright -Batubo Is Laid To Rest Amid Eulogies by Njokuobinna(m): 8:19pm On Jun 22
OBSEQUIES OF A GOOD MAN: AS ELDER FRANCIS JERRY - BATUBO (JP) IS LAID TO REST IN GRANDSTYLE :

+ Njoku Macdonald Obinna

Asari -Toru LGA, Rivers State.

It was William Shakespeare who posited that: `` When beggers die there are no comets seen, but heavens themselves blaze forth the death of Princes .``

It is exactly one month today since the remains of late Elder Bright Francis Jerry -Batubo (JP); father of Chief Mrs. Pat Inaiba Ozigbu (OpuNeene) who is happily married in the Ozigbu family of Ogwuaga Abba Autonomous Community, Nwangele LGA, Imo State, were laid to rest at his Buguma country home in Asari -Toru LGA, Rivers State.

No doubt, the burial had come and gone , but would linger almost forever in the memories of the bereaved family , extended relations , friends, well wishers , in-laws, as well as those who attended the watershed event.

The one week -long burial ceremony started with visit to a select orphanage homes and medical outreach organised by Lupus Haven Foundation on Friday, May 14 , 2021, while Celebration Day took place at the Port Harcourt residence of the deceased daughter , Chief Mrs. Pat Iniaba Ozigbu, on Tuesday , May 18 , 2021, culminating to the Service of Songs in honour of the late Sage , Elder Bright Francis Jerry -Batubo (JP) on Thursday, May 20, 2021 , at The First Baptist Church Buguma , which had the following as officiating ministers : Rev'd. Suku Bibi Ngaiangia , Ph.D, Pastor Nimi Jackreece, Pastor Awajitelenyem Mark, Deaconess Idukoye . M. Amachree and Engr. Tamunotonye Williamwest.

It was a night of Praise and testimonies in celebration of the life and times of Elder Francis Jerry - Batubo (JP); popularly known as Kalabro among his kinsmen and peers: one of the rarest of gems in his generation; honest , humane , accomodating , kind- hearted , a good giver, a friend of Jesus and of the Church of God!

The above sterling and rare Christian virtues exhibited by the late sage during his prilgrim walk on earth are practically exemplified in a number of his children , especially, in Chief Mrs. Pat Inaiba Ozigbu (Mummy Grapik), who uses her humanitarian Foundation , Lupus Haven, to touch as many lives as the Lord leads and directs her .

Graciously called to eternal glory on Sunday , February 21, 2021 , at the riped old age of 91 years, late Elder Bright Francis Batubo (JP) was born April 15, 1930, into the family of late Chief & Lolo Anikiebidama Jerry Batubo. The young Bright Francis Jerry - Batubo, in pursuit of his dreams for Western education attended the Baptist Day Primary School in Buguma City and got up to Standard Three, but in his honest quest to support his parents, particularly his mother who was at the time battling with the health challenges of his only sister later opted to be an apprentice in the dry fish lucrative trade under the tutelage of his loving mother, Madam Alexandra (Aleki) Francis Batubo , at Wangwa Kiri.

A jolly good fellow with some sense of humour. A man of peace , filled with both natural and divine wisdom; as his counsels represented honesty and need for charity , just as his words resonated truth and knowledge. A fervent faithful of The Baptist Church, the late Elder Bright Francis Jerry-Batubo (JP) had earlier poured out his life to the service of God, his immediate family, and also for humanity.

To the deceased first son, Mr. Jemina B.F Jerry - Batubo, his late father was a rallying point for all and showed; `` unconditional love and care for humanity , sought to provide help without boundaries, loved the things of God and enjoyed His abounding presence in total devotion .``

To the grandson, Mr. Patrick Ikechukwu Ozigbu ll, the late Elder Bright Francis Jerry-Batubo (grandfather)'s love for the things of God and his eagerness to always do the work of God no matter the cost was not only endearing but also exemplary!

Although the deceased battled with sickness associated with old age , but he lived a very happy and fulfilled life which was evident during the Praise and testimonies night in his honour . A burial that had well over 4000 mourners , sympathizers, traditional rulers, religious organisations , different cultural dance groups , members of the professional body , political leaders , the business class and deluge of national and local media outfits that covered the event speak quite a volumne about the man who was celebrated and honoured by his children, grandchildren , relations and in-laws ; both in life and in death .

True to what he represents in modesty; bouyance and flamboyance, High Chief Johnbosco Ozigbu, Ph.D (Ogwuaga of Ogwuaga, Ngene of Nwangele ), one of the proud sons -inlaw of the late Elder Bright Francis Jerry-Batubo (JP), was completely adorned in a distinctive -aesthetic glamour of characteristically British but Kalabari traditional attire of a flowing Black Don coated with eleven pieces of Diamond Stud with a Bola Hat worth thousands of dollars; which signified royalty and a respected Asari -Toru Chieftain apart from being a great son in-law .

In what appeared as the most heart - warming courtsey and solidarity to High Chief Johnbosco Ozigbu, in a form of condolneces , Ogwuaga of Ogwuaga was highly elated to welcome to Buguma City his friends, political allies, supporters , brothers and sisters from far and near , especially, those who came all the way from Imo State.

As a man who has touched lives very positively and given back to the society, High Chief Johnbosco Ozigbu Ph.D has continued to enjoy undiluted love, goodwill and support from the homestead ; Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba Federal Constituency in Imo State.

A typical celebration of life; the burial ceremony turned carnival had in attendance oil magnets , captains of industry and top notch members of the business class: the traditional rulers, political leaders and other government functionaries from Bayeslsa State, Rivers State , Delta State and Imo State. Indeed, it was a burial of a man whose children are blessed beyond measures !

According to his son, Sopakiriba Batubo, Esq:
`` Elder Bright Francis Jerry-Batubo (JP) was a man of modest means, who found joy and fulfilment in sharing the little he had with others ; a good giver .``

The high point of the burial ceremony was at the Asari -Toru Council Secretariat for the grand reception of guests and dignatries who came from all walks of life to pay their last respect to the good man who came, saw , conquered and left the chequered life to eternal rest.

People were greatly etertained and had more than enough to eat and drink , as well - packaged surveniors were freely distributed courtsey of the children .

At the colorful grand reception of the burial ceremony turned carnival, we saw the Revolution Musical Band Group and Yemi Sensational thrilling his audience with a variety of songs , the cultural dance group from Buguma City displayed their heritage , traditional artistry and stage crafts as Chief Mrs. Pat Iniaba Ozigbu (OpuNeene); a proud daughter of the community and one of the deceased shinning stars danced to the admiration of the guests and dignatries, some of who , left their seats to splash money on the Amazon of a woman.

The Abba Okonoko Cultural Dance Group, was at the instance of High Chief Johnbosco Ozigbu (Ogwuaga of Ogwuaga) , came all the way from the East to participate in the burial ceremony because it was a big iroko tree that fell down according to tradition.

Meanwhile, the cream of leaders , business associates and political allies of Ngene of Nwangele, spotted out by the media lens of 4th Estate Reporters included but not limited to:

Imo Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon.Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, Majority leader of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi -Dele , His Lordship, Bishop Peter Ozigbu, His Lordship, Justice K.K. Ojiako, High Chief Paul Ozigbu , Chief Victor Asams , Special Adviser to the Nigerian Senate President, Chief George Amagangna , Port Harcourt based Billionaire Oil magnet , Chief Engr. Kenneth Ebubeogu , Chief Emeka Bekee, Hon. Eze Ugochukwu , SA Public Enlightenment to the Imo State governor , IMC Chairman of Nwangele LGA, Hon. Cosmos Iwuogo, High Chief Maurice Onwukwe , Chief Chris Anyiam, Hon Olivtan Tanana Biaduo (Former SA Water Resources), Nze Ebubeagu Ekenulo, Convener Save Imo Group, Mrs. Maureen Chimara, Mr. F.M. Dikeukwu, Chief of Ifeanyi Nwosu, Oil magnet and Philanthropist.

The traditional rulers were also not left out as His Royal Highness Eze B.I. Uzomah Onuenyi (Ekiti of Ekitiafor Abba), His Royal Highness Eze Ndubueze Maduabuchukwu (Uburu ll of Abba), HRH Eze Ndubueze Godwin Ejiogu (Kara of Umunakara), HRH Eze Nelson Obasi and HRH Eze Kennedy Chidi Onukwuri (Uzo of Isiala Umuozu) alongside their Ugoezes were honoured by their Chief Host, High Chief Johnbosco Ozigbu (Ogwuaga of Ogwuaga).

Indeed, `` the life beyond is eternal and love is immortal ; and death is only a horizon and horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight .``

Elder Bright Francis Jerry-Batubo (JP) ,91 years, is survived by many children, grandchildren as well as relations . He was so dearly loved and would be so greatly missed !

Keep resting in the bosoom of the Lord who has called you to eternal glory !
