hedonido: It's not difficult to imagine that it is because they have more situational awareness and 'experience' (first or second hand) about what to do in this unfortunate situation than the average passenger does. And greater mobility too, since they can more easily open their doors and take flight before passengers locked in the passenger compartment begjn to fiddle with the slider door amidst all the chaos and desperation. Ok, I get the picture now |

Extra30: Pls I want to ask, do patients bath when they are operated upon? No, at least not until you heal enough to. In the meantime, either a nurse or a family member (if you insist) with have to wash you up with water, soap, and a towel, on the recovery bed (hospital or at home after discharge). This is done daily to keep you clean. @OP I wish her a quick recovery |

Car Talk › Re: Was I Rude Banning My Father From Entering My Car? by NJV: 5:29pm On Nov 28, 2024 |
Your father will always be your father no matter how grown you've become. You must learn to tolerate some things from him and never shout, warn or threatened him. Same goes for your mother. They mean no harm, instead just looking out for you.
Biko apologize and beg for his forgiveness ASAP. |
Romance › Re: Things Men Find Unattractive In Women. by NJV: 7:39pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
Samantha125: It's still time consuming and a full time job.
Have you ever spent hours detangling a tangled African hair? Only for it to be tangled once again within a couple of days?
And you can't just simply style it without using water and some detangling spray or cream. That's why I said take time and learn. Go on YouTube. Understudy pple like fairyfromother, indigenouz strands, coily dairies, and many more. See, doing natural hair the right way is sooooo easy. There is a right way which the average black person doesn't know about. You have to research and learn it. After I found out, I dished relaxers, cut my hair and my daughter's and started afresh. 2 yrs down the line I have 12 inches already. My daughter feels no stress or pain when I do her hair. And I don't have detangling issues either. All this because I have taken time to learn the process. Doing African hair is easy-pizzy. That's why those women I mentioned can manage waist and hip length hairs without stopping their life. |
Romance › Re: Things Men Find Unattractive In Women. by NJV: 7:22pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
Samantha125: Like I said, I'm doing my hair myself... But not every woman has the time and money to maintain her hair.
It's obvious that medical doctor has the money to afford the right products for her hair. You don't need expensive products to take care of natural hair. All you need is any good shampoo, deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, water, and a hair cream or oil. These things don't cost an arm and leg! The fewer and simpler your products, the better. I equally do my own hair and that of my daughter, so I know what I'm saying. |
Romance › Re: Things Men Find Unattractive In Women. by NJV: 5:13pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
Samantha125: Most of those YouTubers are full time YouTubers and monetize from making those videos, making it easier for them to afford those products... They'd even get sponsors from different hair companies.
They have done thorough research and doing their natural hair has become their full time job.
Every African woman can grow beautiful long hair only if she makes managing her hair her full time job, but not every woman has the time and resources to be doing her hair for an hour or two hours every day. You don't need to do your hair as full time. There are women who have embraced their their natural hair and are still working. There's even a medical doctor in Europe who I normally watch her channel too, she's Nigerian too. If you ready, you will learn also. |
Romance › Re: Things Men Find Unattractive In Women. by NJV: 3:08pm On Nov 27, 2024 |
Samantha125: In as much as we African ladies want to embrace our African hair, it's time consuming and high maintenance.
Yesterday I nearly cried while undoing my braids, detangling and washing the hair, then redoing the braids myself... It took me hours.
Personally I don't like wigs, but I understand why some ladies like wearing them... Maintaining African hair is a full time job, so please, bear with us. No it's not hard. Many black women don't just know how to care for the 4c hair. Go on YouTube and see several ladies with African hair reaching down their waist. Theses are women who have learnt the secrets of how to handle that hair type. And they're freely teaching others who choose to learn. |
