Tell him to engage in online tutoring. He doesn't need any full time teaching that will waste away his time and sanity. He can make up to 1m monthly if he's very smart and vast with the use of technology.

If at all he would do a full time job, it should be to firstly get established and have a platform. A lot of international students are looking for Maths specialists as private tutors.
Thank you for your input. Wish I can reach you for more info on this.

I feed from it.
Pay House-Rent
Transport and support my siblings since we are orphans.

I can never advise any young guy to teach in a private sch, and if u must teach there, don't stay long on the job. It's tantamount to time waste. You can't make anything meaningful from there. I'm a perfect example.
I wanted to quit this January, but it's unwise doing so without having anything doing. Moreso, my rent expires next month. I can't sleep. I'm disturbed cos of this. Nobody to help
Sorry about that

Your discipline is a lucrative one, most schools in the city centre pay around 250-350k depending on your expertise, qualifications and negotiation power. Those in the suburbs may offer 70-120k.

You can make more money x 2 of your salary with call in or online lessons especially for the kids of the rich in Abuja.
I appreciate your input

It's difficult to give a specific amount. Schools in the city center pay more compare to schools in the subborb area of the city.

A. Schools in the city center + at least 2 years of
hands-on experience: 100k - 300k
B. Schools in the subborb: 60 - 100k.

CrimeRe: Filling Station Argument Escalates As Man Pull-Out AK-47 To Shoot Another Man by NJV:
Gistmedia10:
In a shocking viral video circulating on social media, an angry Nigerian man was seen pulling out an AK-47 rifle during a heated argument at a filling station in Nigeria. The altercation reportedly started over a minor disagreement between two motorists, who were vying for the privilege of being served first at the pump. The argument quickly escalated when one of the men stormed to his vehicle, retrieved an AK-47 rifle, and began threatening to shoot the other individual. shocked

Though the exact words exchanged in the argument remain unclear, the man’s violent reaction has raised serious concerns. The presence of a deadly weapon at a public filling station has sparked fears over safety and public order, prompting calls for an immediate investigation.

Alright but I have a little bit reservation for the baking soda.

Considering the fact that I cook beans often, wouldn't that be too much baking soda in my children's system?

Growing up, my mum used potash (akanwu) to achieve quick tenderness but when I became older, I discouraged that. We resorted to cooking partly at night, then finishing up in the morning.

Anyways I will make my findings on CONSTANT consumption of Bicarbonate of soda.
Thanks and compliments of the season
You're welcome.

Baking soda is very good for gut health. Besides it's present in most pastries so definitely healthy for all, both kids and adults. You should however put little at a time. The half teaspoon I mentioned is what I actually use for 5 cups of beans.

You can also do your findings like you said.

Merry Christmas.

You are welcome
Let me just give you a breakdown of how I make my beans.

* Pick and remove dirt and stones

* Add salt generously and pour boiling hot water over it. Stir for about 10 seconds and drain off. Follow with a cold water rinse once or twice. ( This step is to remove harmful preservatives. You can skip this if you cultivated it yourself or you are sure of the source)

* Put in a pan to parboil, adding about half teaspoon of baking soda ( not baking powder).

* Once it boils well, I do any of the 2 depending on how much time I have at hand:
(a) turn off the gas and leave the pot to stay for
about an hour. Thereafter, proceed to the next step.
(b) proceed to the next step immediately.

* Rinse out the water used for parboiling.

* Put in fresh water and continue cooking, adding baking soda again. Remember to stir occasionally so it cooks uniformly

* Once beans starts getting tender, you can now add salt.

* Adding your other ingredients depends on your style of finishing.

Note:
Baking soda is also called Bicarbonate of soda.

Okay. So no need for parboiling na. After washing the beans with hot water to get rid of the chemicals, then i put it inside the pot back and cooking straight!
Lol. While no harm will come to you if you cook straight, Parboiling and rinsing that water off helps to remove the gas that leads to endless farting that usually accompanies beans eating.
FoodRe: The Best Economical Way To Cook Your Beans With Gas(pics) by NJV: 1:33pm On Dec 22, 2024
Love800:
After washing your beans with hot water, why parboil again?
The first wash is very brief and doesn't involve soaking, so the beans doesn't absorb water, rather it cleanse the beans of any chemicals. Parboiling softens the beans halfway since they absorb water in the process. Parboiling without the first wash with hot water and salt may cos the beans to absorb some of the storage chemicals. One can never be too careful.
FoodRe: The Best Economical Way To Cook Your Beans With Gas(pics) by NJV: 2:48pm On Dec 21, 2024
@OP all this on and off is not necessary. For much better results, learn to use baking soda to boil your beans. It helps your beans cook really fast and solves the problem of farting after consumption. It's actually a healthier option to the traditional potash ( "Kaun" ) that we saw our parents use while growing up.

Also note the following:
1) wash your beans first with salt and hot water as that helps to remove harmful chemicals added during storage. Do this immediately after picking your beans, before you put it on fire.

2) Parboiling is very essential.

3) You don't start boiling beans with salt immediately. You add salt much later in the process.
