Family / Re: My Marriage On The Brink Of Crashing, Experienced People Needed Now. by nkemma54(m): 9:08pm On Apr 30, 2017
adam500hr:
Hi nlanders, great morning to you all, of recent, have been suspecting my wife. She suddenly asked me for over 2million to pay rent for a new place to continue her biz, in which I declined for good reasons, because the place I had set up for her is just a year old and I spent alot on another mans property, yet no profit has even come out of the biz to even say it services part of the family's responsibility. Knowing fully well I rarely say no to her request, she felt more bad that I insisted on the decline. Infact she told me she was going to take a loan, I said if she does, my hand nor dey there, I said she should have patience like a year more that I will finance it, but she keeps saying the vacancy she saw is an opportunity that she does not want to lose it, I still maintained my decision of declining.

One night, she said she'll need my psychological support on the loan she wants to take, I replied that I cannot offer psych support on what I disagree upon, then she said I dont want to help her at all, that how much did I even spend for the first business, that is it up to 2 million, in which I spent more than. At that moment, I knew the wife I married was an ungrateful one, I just told her point blank that she should go for the loan and loan more to fix the place and buy everything she needs, then after she repays the loan, I'll blv shes a true business man and that I'll financially support anything she decides to do thereafter. She said well, I am scared of the loan, but she'll by whatever means get the money, I replied saying, whatever means u plan on getting it, make sure its clean.

Few days after, I figured out shes no longer interested in orgasm during sex, she just gives me and thats it, I already knew shes probably thinking too much and overworking herself to bring about a solution to where the money was gonna come out from, so I asked her why she has not been interested in orgasm, she said I should know that shes been working on some "BLOW JOBS" say what? She said u know have been working on some projects to get money to continue the biz, I said but u just said Mouth Action, she no I didnt say anything as such, Nlanders, If I lie make i nor see better, that was what came outta her mouth, but I am not concluding anything, just that its strange for such mistake to have been spewed. Though I got suspicious and decided to follow up on her. She has been talking to someone in secret, when she sees me she stylishly and quickly hang up. So I decided to make a very risky and rash move, that would either pay off, or ruin things. I yelled I know what u have been doing, you are a hoe that can never be trusted, that I think am done with this marriage. She got really worried that why would i call her such bla bla, she could not sleep that day, that gave me more reason to feel sumtin is probably going down, next day she sends me a text saying for me to keep calling her a hoe that she must have done something that warrants itm but she does not want to be referred ti as that anymore, and there is something am not telling her though.

I told her, I will break the news of what I know when the time is right, she then replied after two days of emotional trauma that she has finally decided to take the bold step to make my life and hers easy, she dont intend to create no drama, that all she needs me to do to avoid her getting any embarrassment from me, (what she meant is not letting people know why am calling her a hoe) is she wants me to let her know the terms and conditions with the kids and any other thing i think she should know before-hand. She also stated she would have loved to stay for her kids, but her emotions and health is failing her.

Nlanders, though I took a big risk, but isnt my confrontation with just 40% proof brought about a revelation that something has indeed happened from her response? I need candid response here as I am about to take my own decision, I cant stand a cheating wife biko.

Dude, mail me let's talk. I don't have strength to be typing epistles here

Everyone saying she's just making you jealous are clearly naive minded ignorant kids.
I wanna hear your story again when you're calm, no duress.

Phone/Internet Market / You Can Now Buy SMARTPHONES On CREDIT Brought By Solo, Airtel, Renmoney by nkemma54(m): 8:14pm On Apr 28, 2017

Solo, RenMoney, Airtel make it possible

By Tare Youdeowei

Before the introduction of mobile phones in Nigeria in 2001, the country had landlines; just about 450, 000 people had them. With the coming of mobile phones, the number of phone lines skyrocketed to 30 million by 2016.

So far phones have become both a necessity and status symbol, basically a must have. This necessity has always been acquired with cash in hand; hence, if you don’t have that N15, 000 for your children’s stay-at-home mobile phone or that N315, 000 for a smart phone that makes you stand out as a business executive, you are not getting a mobile phone.

Today, cash in hand is no longer compulsory to buy a phone, so say Solo, Airtel, and RenMoney at a press briefing in Lagos where they launched the Solo Aspire M smart phone available for N4,150 monthly on the Airtel network , with RenMoney as the credit providers.

Wole Abu, Head of Sales, Airtel Nigeria, who represented the Chief Commercial Officer, said; “This partnership is exciting because it underscores our value for innovation as a company. We try to anticipate the customer’s needs and meet optimally. With what we have today, we are putting real value in the hands of the people. This collaboration means that you don’t have to spend all your money to by a phone; it is about giving customers what they need without breaking a sweat.”

For the smart phone maker, Tayo ogundipe, Solo’s Chief Executive Officer, it is about smart phone penetration. “This is about finding a solution to a problem that exists, which is smart phone penetration. We are passionate about this because for most in Africa, the smart phone is the only computer they ever come across. The whole point is to help democratic ownership of smart phones to improve the quality of life for Africans. We have identified access to credit has a major barrier, hence this partnership.

“In developed climes, nobody pays the full price for a phone and it is really hampering smart phone penetration in Africa. The point of this innovation is to bridge the gap which the absence of financial history has caused.”

Aiming at changing lives, Ian Abrahams of RenMoney disclosed; “Our mission is to provide simple financial solutions. Our partnership is to change the lives of every Nigerian. We chose to partner with Solo because they can provide a smart, good, easy to use and affordable smart phone. We chose Airtel because they have the volume and reach to get us to where we want to be.

“For us to make this work we cannot wait for two weeks for credit. This credit is available in 10 minutes. So far we have given 981 phones in the pilot phase. All the rigours of regular banking have been eliminated.”

Explaining the details of the offer, Bobby Iduoze, Senior Manager Devices and Data provided; “With N4,150 cash payment and the same amount subsequently for 12 months, you get a new Solo Aspire M smart phone, 12GB data, 720 minutes free call and SMS and unlimited social bundle. After the first cash payment subsequent payments are to a designated account that cannot be used for regular phone credit functions. You simply dial *486*pin#.

“Existing Airtel users need to have spent a stipulated number of months on the network, those not on Airtel will have to get on the network. The next stage is provide proof of identity, proof of address and BVN for documentation purposes. For repairs and replacement, there is full phone insurance for N1, 500. When the network is notified upon loss or theft, the phone will be locked. Defaulters’ phones will also be locked.”

The Solo Aspire M smart phone is fitted with quad core, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, Android 5.1, 1,800 mAH, 13 mega pixel camera, as well as a 5 inches screen, to mention a few.

The phone specs are rather very limited, but do you welcome this idea?

If I hear u call ntel the only true 4g network. That network provider is a scam, that picture is from early days back in early 2016. The same ntel that I have dumped their stupid network since November last year because of unbearable speed even before they started this their threshold nonsense. People that are using Ntel are lamenting, go to their thread on nairaland and see for urself.

For me the best 4g in Nigeria in terms of speed and latency is MTN. Ever since I switched to MTN it has been very rosy for me.

Pls modify your comment and add your location. That is more helping so others can choose mtn there

To clarify a quick widespread suspicion by some NLers, I'm not an ntel staff. My other threads can assure you of that.
Currently on glo, using a 4G sim and 4G phone with their b28, but still can't find 4G in my location. Their 3G sucks too.
Used mtn, but didn't get 4G either.
Why una wan kill the messenger? Abeg showcase your 4G signal strength and location. Help others in choosing an actual 4G data provided in their area.
Make una think of this as a poll.
And as regards the image i uploaded showcasing ntels speed, it seems their speed had throttled down. At least it better than inexistent glo, except that guy from benin (e b like sey i go move go there sef grin)

Ntel used to be fast BUT it is no more today. They are no more unlimited like they claimed, what they do now is just offer enough data on their plans OR How can you claim to be unlimited service provider and your monthly plan is capped at 3GB daily usage, that's literally 90GB in a month and it's NOT unlimited
Thanks for the ntel update. Abeg wetin be your location?

Every data provider seems to be spreading hype about their 4G coverage. It has come to my understanding that most of their claims are fabricated lies to have the masses purchase their services.
The only genuine service seems to be ntel (showcasing their amazing 4G coverage map), and the popular old-timers of 4G (spectranet, swift 4G).
If you have a device, in Nigeria of course, that accesses the 4G network by your data provider, please share a photo, preferably of a Speedtest result, and post with your location.

4G users, make una show!! Help fellow Nigerians in choosing an actual working 4G network provider.
