NwekereNdokl: That’s the plan. Out of envy and bitterness they see Anambra as too powerful and great a state to remain as it is, they are only interested in weakening the state through partitioning. But we shall always resist it. They should go partition their states, we are not interested. Creation of ANIOMA state is better instead. Or better still ADADA state in northern igbo land assimiliating igbos of kogi and benue. |

Objectivist04: Envious on what exactly? I am from south east and if truth must be told, your state is the less developed in the region now. Just look at open gutters everywhere with unplanned settlement. Your governors both former and present don't have the ball to deliver a signature project and you can't develope with these mediocre infrastructures.
Bellow is a road project delivered by a governor within one year in office, no Anambra governor in history has ever done such ambitious project. Obi did the umunya head bridge but it was a federal road and he was reimbursed but this particular one is pure state project. You can also see how drainages are covered in a sane clime Help me tell them i am ashamed of my state. |

Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by NLegendforte: 10:43am On May 15, 2024 |
Unbiased1: I repeat my previous stance. Forget about Akwa Ibom and focus on Igbo land. If Akwa Ibom wants to build a seaport, that's their business. Johannesburg is the city with largest economy in Africa but it is landlocked. Igbo land currently does not have a seaport but it is possible to build one in Abia in the future, all we need is money to fund the project. Let our people start looking inwards. If one gaint company builds its headquarter in Onitsha, a 15 or 18-floor structure, other big businesses will start thinking about doing same. All it takes it one person to start. Look at what is happening in Nnewi. Its indigenes are always proud to invest at home. If landmark builds one resort in Oguta and turns Oguta to a major tourism hub, someone like Obi Jackson will move to turn Okija to tourism hub, other business men will also start doing similar things in their respective communities. You can look up "Sun city resort" near Johannesburg. Sun City generates far more money than Landmark in Lagos. Thousands of tourists visit South Africa every year just to enjoy themselves in Sun City. Guess what? Sun City does not have a coast line or beach yet it attracts people from all over the world. So you see, forget about Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Port Harcourt and Calabar, Ndigbo have invested in other parts of Nigeria enough, it's time to think home and home alone. You are on point |

NwekereNdokl: The only reason why you are here crying everyday is because you know that Anambra is by far more developed and advanced than your useless worthless cursed dirty state, that’s why you are constantly threatened. Your state capital is a slum and a glorified rural area compare to ordinary Nnewi , not to talk of great beautiful cities of Onitsha and Awka . Your envy and bitterness won’t change the reality on ground that Anambra is the most developed state in igboland and has the best infrastructures including the best and widest roads the eastern region can boast of . So we welcome you to cry lol Not by hyping, a good product sells itself. I am a concerned Anambra indigene. |

chuksoyo21: THE ORIGIN OF OSISI NGWU - POWERFUL TREE IN IGBOLAND:
In those days and at that time, an innocent man was captured and buried alive just to sacrifice him to a God which I will not like to mention its name.
When the family of the man got the sad news, in tears and in grieving ; they went in protest to his grave - all of them bearing different kinds of life sticks, branches and leaves on thier hands.
After much crying around his grave, they are dropped those lively leaves, sticks and branches on the grave of the innocent dead man, invoke his angry spirit to avenge his death, and they went back home mourning him.
Day became week, week became month - year to decade, those life branches and leaves after being beating by rain was now rooted and connected with mother earth later survived and grow to became a powerful tree called Osisi NGWU: Obele OSISI mu ngwunyeru n'ani/ala- buzi oke Osisi.
You may plant an Ngwu tree, and water it after declaring a word, but only God determines the survival of such Ngwu.
Osisi Ngwu bu oke Osisi! Ogwu agworo-agwo adighi atu #Nwangwu. Osisi Ngwu bu Osisi Alusi - Ka aru/alu kwusi. In the spiritual world, Osisi Ngwu is referred to as :Okala Ose.
Oma Uma egbu Ngwu, Nma agaghi adiri ya nko - You are wasting your time when you are planning to kill Nwangwu - a person with Ngwu spirit.
Thus, any tree which you may choose to plant after making a declaration; automatically becomes an Osisi Ngwu if it survives.
Our ancestors has planted many Osisi Ngwu which later survived to become a huge powerful-spiritual covenant trees.
There are many types of Ngwu trees : Biblically, the death of man started from a tree in the garden of Eden, and the salvation of man also started from a tree--cross of calvary. Just as a cross is a sacred tree in the life of a Christian, the OSISI Ngwu is so sacred to Onye Omanani.
@Osisi Akpu = It is a huge tree that has torns (Ogwu-Ogwu/akpu-akpu). You cannot climb OSISI Akpu because of the spikes that covers its body. In the spiritual world OSISI Akpu is called Okalete. The OSISI akpu has a male and a female spirit which is invoke to fight a spiritual battle for any NwaAkpu or UmuAkpu people.
@Osisi Ojukwu = special Ngwu with the spiritual power of anti- poison, it stops evil, charm and untimely death. Mmanu ojukwu - ojukwu oil is used to produce medicine, balms, anti-poison and spiritual soaps. OSISI Ojukwu is called Okalaofu in the land of the spirit.
@Osisi Ofo is the spiritual tree of justice and fairness. It is a tree of unity because it binds a group of people together. It is a tree of life - Oji Ofo ga Ana. Everybody is entitled to bear an Ofo, but it is only the Ofo that knows its bearer. Thus, Ofo is not meant for an evil person because it results to Ogoli Obala which means death in spiritual realm.
@Osisi Oji/Orji= Also known as Aka Atulukpa in Afa - divination language; is a spiritual multipurpose tree because it performs a lot of miracle, signs and wonders for any NwaOji or Umuoji people.
However, there are still many other Ngwu - covenant tree in Igboland . Osisi Ngwu bu Osisi di n'iwu - you can't cut such trees anyhow without due consultation and first appeasing the spirit forces residing in such trees.
Other Ngwu trees includes: Osisi Achalla for UmuAchalla, Osisi Udala for Umudala, Osisi Ebenebe, Osisi Ogilishi etc. I thought Ngwu is a particular tree. So any tree planted after declaration becomes Ngwu or what. |
