Say 10 years.. No this is not time for mediocre projects, nnewi needs a very solid and wide road even if people's structures have to be touched. |

Armon: If is closed how will plastics enter there .. the essence of closing them is make sure refuse can’t be dumped inside it … it should be desillted and closed. Simple road in Ago place way to apple junction is built with covered drains and light poles. Please let stop supporting our Government they are not working.
I saw I road constructed in Akwaibom at Ikotekpene” see wide road with street light drains sealed… I wept… is not capital ooo… some people will still come at me ..If you visit places within your locality like and observe then you will know ANSG is not serious
Look at NFF there is no stadium in the south east that was chosen, it should hurt us because we don’t take infrastructures seriously. Every other regions were taken the next thing we shout marginalization but the ones we can do we will not … shall we justify that by saying we don’t have money? Look at how thy laugh at us…on the media.
Let’s forget about stadium… simple standard road is like rocket science… let me not talk about roundabouts. Abia has signed up SiX lanes roads in Umuahia atleast to level up the capital… south east needs to wake up… Say what is bad … is not with dirty open drains we become Taiwan of Africa. If we change the way things are done then change will be visible.
They triple up money for roads construction and take their shares after the road is constructed it will be like child’s play or Golgotha and ANSG will keep quiet because they are part of the play.
The least we can do is not to support this madness. A road should be wide with lights … the road constructed at Amansea is not wide, yet both sides are free… not light poles, no covered drains… Biko is a shame to US Ansg and mediocrity be like 5 and 6. Simple things are like rocket science to Apga. |

Originalsly: I never said one should self diagnose. It is about verifying what the doctor said. You go to a doctor for headache and he prescribes some pills. He should explain what the pills are for and you can later Google the pill to see if it is so .... and the side effects. FYI ... wayyyy too many doctors are paid to push certain medications and they do. COVID-19 and the vaccination agenda should've opened our eyes. Why do clinical pharmacists exist. How many layman can understand differential diagnosis, polypharmacy,drug-food interactions and the rest. |

Imo is also a nigerdelta state. Without about 14 operational oil Wells, Anambra may soon join nddc. Enugu has been granted oil producing status but yet to start receiving her oil derivation fund. |

Originalsly: All over the world there are fake doctors .... not in Nigeria only. The difference is what are the consequences when caught? Almost always ... years imprisonment is a must plus fines or other penalties in thise countries to serve as a deterrent. What is done here?... bail? No one knows how many lives he ended .... and yet set free to end more. We can also blame ourselves for encouraging this with our mentality to hold someone that says he is a doctor as a demi god. We do not question or second guess whatever a doctor says. If we go in for serious pain in the knees and the doctor says it is because of stage 3 cancer we will believe. We have Google at our fingertips to help us check on diagnosis or medication prescribed. Then why don't you use the Google for diagnosis and drug therapy instead seeking the doctor's service. |
Politics › Re: Is South East A Barren Land Let’s Find Out by NLegendforte: 5:00pm On Aug 26, 2023 |
franchasofficia: The crude oil wells being explored in Uguta and Ohaji Egbema in Imo State alone is more than enough to make Southeast economy a stable economy, that is if Southeast was an independent nation of its own.
I haven't mentioned the crude oil explorations going on in Abia and Anambra states.
When compared to the number of oil wells being explored in Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa, Southeast crude oil reserve is smaller than those in the aforementioned Niger Delta states, but if all the politically abandoned crude oil wells in Southeast are explored, you will be shocked to discover that Southeast have as much or close to the same quantity of crude in Niger Delta. Southeast and Niger Delta are almost the same if you study the map closely, so it is highly impossible for Southsouth states to have enormous crude oil wells while Southeast that is almost like a siamese with Niger Delta to be a barren land if I am to borrow you imbecilic words.
The problem Southeast have been battling since the end of the civil war is post-war politics designed by British government and handed to Hausa-Fulani political-military leaders to ensure Southeast does not rise again to seek for secession which would hurt British crude oil interest in Nigeria.
In so doing, several crude oil sites and wells in Southeast, including those in Old and new Nekede were abandoned and cordoned off by Nigerian government for decades now. During the civil war, Ojukwu's Biafran government had some locally refined crude oil sites in some communities in Imo state, near my maternal home, which have been politically abandoned by Nigerian government since the end of civil war as a way of punishing Southeast through economic sabotage so that their revenue will be too small to discourage Igbos from wishing to secede again.
It is this same post-civil war politics that made the Northern led Military governments after the war to adjust a lot of Old Eastern Nigeria community boundaries during state creations by making sure Southeast is made to look very insignificant/small and also denied access to sea to make Southeast a landlocked region that must depend on Nigeria's newly created Niger Delta region to have access to sea for seaport.
In doing this, a lot of Igbo speaking communities in Southeast were moved into today's Rivers, Benue, etc just to reduce Southeast land mass and to justify creating just five states in Southeast.
Listen, no other region will survive the gangup and political marginalization Southeast survived since 1970.
Part of the reasons Igbos are scattered all over the world today is as a result of the postwar political marginalization that made it difficult for Igbos to get easy access to federal jobs, federal infrastructures and other government benefits like other Nigerian tribes (especially Hausa-Fulanis and Yorubas) which also contributed to some Igbos going into drug related crimes to survive abroad. Go and study Nigeria's history before the civil war, Igbos were mostly focused on trade, commerce, transport, military, etc, which made Igbos to dominate almost all sectors in Nigeria to the utmost envy of other majority tribes; it was after the war, and due to the harsh realities of the postwar economy in the Southeast that pushed many Igbo men into crime to sustain their starving families. Many began to migrate just as second world war dispersed Jews from Europe to US, etc.
