Nlng2014:
By my calculation you all have seen 2.25 years of this race. Most will not be delayed past 3.0 years except another natural disaster happens like Donald Trump winning the USA presidential elections ( pray hard it's concluded before that election). But majority will see 3.5 - 4.0 years.(aka the wait listed).........

May it not be una case..
I rather Donald wins the election than the NDA achieve their set goals. Like in the school of Hard Knocks. Who no go, no go know, they survived Eng 103 if you think it's a lie ask Engr Eze.

Things are really critical and that's real.

First of all, I thought you were a member of the 'To hell with the codes and little info' crew?

Second of all, why do you fret over a process that is looooong concluded (EH) but choose not to worry your process that is currently ongoing?

At bolded not all concluded.

@ member of "To hell with codes" check person I just quoted (old posts) he already gave a timeline for the EH recruitment phase. This only applies to him as others had different dates..from interview to resumption.

Regardless of the outcome NLNG owes us all an explanation for this delay not just we are sorry.
Even the 3 months EHs were given to resume has elapsed. Haba.
At this rate they may have to backdate our salaries as is done in the state of Osun.
To those “using us to do yeye” #GodWin.

Does anyone know how promotions and career progression are in NLNG?
Happy 3rd Easter all. #Wewait for the next quarter.

Father let your will be done.
Lol @ the 3 months given EH......some people are still in the EH race and have not even been told their status. By my count the EH race is. exactly 2.5 years. The EH race was initially to be concluded before the GTs, however that may not be the case due to so many tins one could deduce from some peoples posts.

By my calculation you all have seen 2.25 years of this race. Most will not be delayed past 3.0 years except another natural disaster happens like Donald Trump winning the USA presidential elections ( pray hard it's concluded before that election). But majority will see 3.5 - 4.0 years.(aka the wait listed). Usually the wait list comes with a 1.5 years period, after which if you don't hear from GNLN(spelt backwards coz even me don tire) -----then forget it.

May it not be una case..

To those who got closure. Life has a whole lot to offer.

For those still in the running, do you think you know what patience is yet?

Think again.

Except you are already working in the O&G sector your offer would be something you would be scared to reject in the name of a process of negotiation that could go back and forth.

No two people will end up with the same remuneration even though they are for the same position and JD for obvious reasons.

Yes by now those EH invited must have finished their med. exam.

Invitation and resumption for EH is in batches as per need basis.

Same will go for GT.

Cost optimization.

There is no one here dumb enough to prepare LITERALLY with what someone else would say. After scaling through the WAEC and SHL stage, for the lot of us left, no superlative available can be used to describe what we are. We are the BEST of ourselves.

This just reminds me of when an argument broke about this being a competition and the 'Pastors' and 'holier than thou' on the thread at that time kept admonishing the people who maintained it is indeed a competition.

The tension is killing for those of us waiting for our scheduled date, hence the curiosity.

And we all know what they say about curiosity and the cat; however I'm sure we can all carry on with our other 8 lives.
Well dumb would be a harsh word to conclude as my assertion.

However "teamcaring" in the context it is used in this forum can take a leap off the 3rd mainland bridge. NLNG wants to see you freaking compete at your best. Care? You tell your competition even the color of the hotel, is that what people call caring. NLNG's model works like a charm. When you have attended your AC dude you will not even want to tell your dad and mum the full details. Coz you know what's at stake.

Talk is cheap, except you were part of the group that was successful in 2007. You have no clue what is required by NLNG.

Your competition in this excersize is the same as a contractor bidding for a tender. You better bring your best quote less you get dropped from the process. Competion brings out the best. NLNG wants to see the best and not a kissing contest.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: NLNG Experienced Hire Result Is Out!! by Nlng2014: 8:45pm On May 16, 2015
The waitlist thing is a very safe way of saying that due to financial constraints, those originally approved to move to the next stage may have to wait in the hope that the updated business plan changes when economic drivers favor a bigger budget.

It was the only way NLNG could tell those who made it initially that we cant take you now with out compromising on their integrity. They could also have said you failed and risk someone finding out that these candidates where actually approved for the next stage. In that case casting doubt on the whole process. I really do hope things change for the better, the economic forecast is sunny skies with a little showers for those waitlisted.

4mula22:
Is there anyone here that wrote the recruitment exam in the UK?

Will there be an AC centre in the UK?

If my last address was in Nigeria, and I'm now in the UK, how do I sort it out? Or do I bare the flight fare myself?

Someone should help me out please
As per the bolded, NLNG has a reinbursement policy for transportation to and from the venue of the AC/interview. Tickets (flights only except if otherwise stated) indicating cost of travel and not boarding pass is usually accepted as proof for retirement. Presentation of international flight tickets on AC day will not be accepted because monies for reimbursement are usually planned ahead as per your residency which you gave during your application. Because most companies are looking for ways to cut cost, it would be unwise/impossible to retire such expenditure without approval. Hence you have to contact NLNG via the appropriate channel so that your situation would be considered.

When your address changed you should have informed NLNG of the development or don't you think it was necessary?

Thanks. There was no phone interview.

Any tip(s) on what to expect?
HSE position? No concrete tip.

Just be technically sound, understand the concept of HSE, Risk identification and management, ergonomics, HSE policy statement, lost time injury.....bla bla bla. If a technical person is in the panel he wants to hear you chip in these terms synonymous with HSE. But then if after they all introduce themselves and it looks like a we just wanna chat with you kinda interview then be on your best behavior. Know your CV and dwell on your strenghts.

Most importantly don't CHOKE, I repeat whatever you do don't CHOKE.

Wish you the best.

For those who travelled abroad because they got a scholarship for a MSc, It is still possible for you to be recruited within this timeline. Just keep NLNG updated with your progress and new address.

If all goes according to plan. EH calls around April/May or later

Therefore GT calls June/July, AC (maybe) July-August and final selection Spetember/October/November.

Keep updating NLNG and all the best.

I'm not exactly sure about how much GTs will be earning. What i quoted was just an estimate. You may add N3 to N4M p.a max.

As for the experienced, I said average pay in my post. Average because some jobs required 8 years experience and others 10 years. I dont expect both categories of staff to earn same pay.

As for those GTs that you said earn close to N9M p.a I can only lol. Cos i'm not sure any company outside the oil and gas sector pays that much. If you decide to respond to this, please specify the companies that pay GTs that much. Let me apply to those companies as a GT if only they will take me. LOL.

What makes you guys think they are waiting for the outcome of the Presidential elections? Why didn't they wait for the Presidential elections before inviting us for the interviewshuh? My advice to yall is DO NOT DROP YOUR GUARD. ELSE YOU MAY BE CAUGHT PANTS DOWN!

Wherever and whenever NLNG is involved, there is no such thing as OVERPREPARATION. A word is enough for the wise.

PEACE BE UNTO YALL.
Please as the wait for the AC continues please could you shed light on the questions you were asked during your interview? What postiion you applied for, thank you.

Mr you have been creating threads upon threads on this issue even after you have been told to follow a thread which has more followership than your earlier threads about this issue. You won't get any answer here.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Oando Graduate Trainee Recruitment 2014 by Nlng2014: 12:09am On Dec 28, 2014
SHL usually uses a Statistical T-score however this scores would require a lower SD to match the figures claimed

This is most likely a percentile score

Does not mean that you scored 94% but means that you passed more than about 93% of those who sat with you for the same exam. Or that 6% of the candidates scored higher than you.

Your identity has always been known by those who actually have as much as a little investigative skills on the world wide web.

Histrionic Personality Disorder is characterized by attention seeking behaviors. Which i must conclude MIGHT be your own undoing.

The last thing anyone in a forum such as this should do is make utterances that would be less accepting when finally he/she stands in a room where his/her personality would be placed on the chopping block.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by Nlng2014: 11:50pm On Nov 18, 2014
It must really be difficult for some who are expecting so much from this experience....

You might be uneasy because you are not informed, however i am yet to find an employer who communicates all or part of its internal process/decisions/challenges to its applicant(s). Take for example recently an interview was conducted for the experienced cadre which had about 34 open positions. This interview spanned about 1 month in PH with the panel which had about 8 -10 people participating and later broke into 2 panels in order to meet up with the schedule for the exercise. And this recent exercise is yet to be completed. Internal challenges in a world class organization also occurs, and as an organization which holds integrity as one of its values, it would rather postpone and postpone the process if it means that the process will not be compromised.

'One of the truest test of integrity is in its blunt refusal to compromise'- Chinua Achebe

Suggesting that you would be called directly for medicals is wishful thinking, nothing wrong in that but if the above quote has anything to do with this exercise i would suggest you think again.
