Politics / Why Is Fake News So Popular On Nairaland? by nlPoster: 6:37pm On Apr 09, 2020
You're giving Nigerians and Nairaland a bad reputation as chronic scammers who take lying as a cultural habit.

The topic (I guess) is for that nl lady who arrived in Canada some months ago and whose followers were very busy attacking any non-member of their clique who posted on her thread.

She's already responded.

Which embassy?

THE NIGERIAN EMBASSY IN CHINA

Are the folks in the script not Nigerians? If not then they should contact their state representatives or cultural organizations?

My experience with an Igbo taxi driver shouldn't lead to all this drama. Not my first time of being in the rain, one would think rain is a strange thing.

And you people should stop stalking me, jeez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's something weird about the way some nlers are presenting alledged evacuations of Americans from Nigeria.

It's like most of the pictures and write ups are false and misleading.

op is deceptive.

So you want your user id to come up with the phrase "Why I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour" yet you claim to be anti-Christian.

Who is looking up your info and is supposed to think you're Christian? Or who are you signaling within the Christian community?

I advise that you pick up your phone and use this time to organise the residents on your street so that govt can have data to work with

Govt has no data on it's people?

How about you encourage people who are in need, to call the relevant offices themselves, I'm sure most Nigerians have phones.

Why Girls Like To Dey Denge Poze..

"dem go dey poze, dem go dey denge-denge. dem go dey poze, dey go dey waka kuru kure, etc " these were lyrics made popular some years back by Baba Fryo, a popular reggae musician then from one of his hit tracks. and if i understood what the song meant, it was talking about people (ladies) that like posing alot but unaware they are doing it foolishly. and this song was sang some years ago, before girls started wearing g-string, leggings and bum shorts. but look at it now, isn't the song making sense? what is happening presently? denge pozing of course! girls are now wearing G-strings as if their lives depend on it. G-strings that is from the pit of hell. leggings are suppose to be worn at home and not for outtings. wearing of bum shorts is now the trend among alot of girls. and we have ladies who prefer to wear only bum shorts and leggings whenever they are going out. to them, its more fashionable and sexy. *smh* it seems there's free madness everywhere all in the name of fashion. the other day, one lady was sighted wearing a soaked sanitary pad under a see through leggings, at a popular shopping mall in lagos. she didnt know people were staring at her with digust while she was denge posing about. no wonder many are eager to strip ladies naked in public nowadays. since their eyes are being fed daily with seductive dressing by girls. girls rily have to mind the way they dress and what they wear. fashion is not all about being half clad or looking like a slut on the street! you can poze if you want to, but dont 'denge' poze!
Food / Re: Igbo Yam Pottage Vs Yoruba Yam Pottage ( Asaro), Which One Do You Prefare? by nlPoster: 4:48pm On Apr 08, 2020
Lex1:

If you have teasted the two before then you know that there is a difference between the two. Yoruba own is prepared in form of a stew, thick but you can still sip the pottage, while the Igbo own is more or less yam and oil boiled together, you just eat the yam and that it. Some use Asaro to eat eba in Yoruba context but you can't try that with the Igbo own.
I hope you now have clue.

I don't do Igbo versus Yoruba things most times but

Food / Re: How To Make Your Nigerian Yam Porridge With A Rich And Creamy Consistency by nlPoster: 4:46pm On Apr 08, 2020
I think the yam texture affects the creaminess of the dish. Also, perhaps the thickness of the sauce.
