No idiots on the thread please.

How many times do I have to keep insisting dont post on my threads if you have nothing to say.

It's annoying and I dont need to interact with such stupidity.

You know yourselves. lipsrsealed

Quit being emotional and looking for fights.

Show maturity.

Remember Nigerians see you as representatives of your tribe, dont stoke ungodly ethnic sentiment.

CultureRe: Is The Omu Anioma The Only Female Throne In Igbo Land? by nlPoster: 11:11pm On Apr 06, 2020
The word "Anioma" was invented in the 50s or 60s and has been widely used here on Nairaland, so I assume the nlers or people who insist on saying Anioma all the time, have modern arrangements (perhaps the past 5 to 10 years) as their point of reference.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Lockdown Compliance: Pictures From Abeokuta, Ogun State. by nlPoster: 10:18pm On Apr 06, 2020
The third picture is very nice.

If that area is properly monitored and developed it's going to be quite fancy.

But only if it doesn't have that Nigerian factor, we dont always like nice things.

Did he say lawyers or everyone judging the case as the captions said. I didnt watch most of the video.

Everyone would include all nlers commenters who arent friends to those involved.

Can someone verify if that story about a Nigerian patient in China is true?

I'm hoping it's fake news.

Who are those suddenly so interested in southwest Nigeria?

Another person was asking what was the reason for creating Osun state.

Are nlers trying to link different parts of Yorubaland to various other African countries?

Ok.

Someone is already preaching against wigs in another section.

Why are Nigerian celebrities following regular people who have nothing to do with them?

And if its money they're sharing they wont share it with you.

Commenting on nairaland shouldn't become a license to stalk people. If it is, at least let them know.

Here are a few food banks by Africans:

How a Ghanaian decided to set up a food bank

Eric Darko had never seen one before a visit to the US. Now he’s launched Eastern Harvest Food Bank, which is believed to be the first food bank in Ghana with warehouse operations.

Opperwezen:
I totally disagree with this!!!!!!!!!
How large was your sample area? How were you able to identify their race?

Stop being judgmental, human nature has very minimal correlation with skin colour
Nigerians for sure do not do food banks because they feel it's for poor people, and associate shame with it.

Any Nigerian patronizing a food bank would probably not want fellow Nigerians to know.

Then again, the Nigerian version of "food banks" are typically associated with social deviancy and rise in crime. This is probably due to a lack of oversight and proper guidance however .

The person in the video said you notify the agency you need food and they bring it to you.

Why are folks here always angry all the time?

Kenneygirl:
How's this news?
when you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity
The verse says when you pray don't do as the hypocrites do.

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. . . But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.

Giving:

“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. . . . to be honored by others.. . . But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Note the bolded. The reason for your giving also matters, are you doing it in order to boost your ego in front of people or because you're helping them?

When it comes to Nigerians especially, sometimes secrecy is not an option because of the tendency for them to be nasty, arrogant and unappreciative.
