Hi guys,

based on your experience, on average, how long does it take to move forward from the "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." status?

Also, which one comes first, medical or background check, cos my spouse's dashboard says "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." Could it be because we have applied from the U.K?

Please, I need an answer to this, please.

Good evening guys. Plz I need help with this. My wife studied botany in school( she applied for nursing and was given botany normal Naija way) now after graduation she was a teacher for 2/3 yrs. Now she wants to go back to studying nursing in Canada. Will this have any issue in convincing the VO? Does she need to do PGD or directly BSC nursing. She is currently 27yrs old Thanks
It's biological sciences so it should fly.

My spouse studied Biotechnology in Nigeria and we have just applied for her study permit (Nursing Diploma)

Hoping to get positive feedback.

Morning guys,

Need your help in understanding this my checklist - program is diploma

The one I circled red says "In addition to the above three items, you must also submit". My question is what three items above? Is Family information form part of the three items?

The one I circled yellow what background information questions are they referring to here

Also, these forms you guys have mentioned you downloaded and submitted, were you prompted to download, fill and upload them. I didn't get such a prompt, is it safe to assume they are not applicable to me?

My people.

My spouse applied and was admitted into a 2-year Nursing program.

We are both based in the U.K where we work.

However, I won't be going to Canada with her as I intend to support her and my kid from here financially.

Any advantages of applying for a study permit from the U.K. as a citizen of Nigeria? Any disadvantages? Do you know anyone who has?

Got a mail from get qualified and Airtel HR

They wanted me to send my CV for an area sales manager position at Airtel, although I had initially applied for the graduate trainee position.

They said that they needed an area sales manager in the Northern Region and wanted me to resend my CV.

NB: I did the first graduate trainee test at get qualified and passed and got to the second stage but didn't get called for the interview.

How did you know it's an Area Sales Manager role cos it wasn't stated in the mail sent?

True...I got the same mail from getqualified asking to send most recent CV as well. I had applied for the other graduate role, did those screening exercises but couldn't make it to the interview cos I wasn't around at the time.

What's ds job like bro... Frm d Job description i feel its kinda sales inclined. And abt d salary too, any info on ds two abeg?

It's business development/strategy/sales. I have no idea what this particular role's actual salary is and you would never know until they make you an offer. There's a range on getqualified though, (4500000-5400000). You can choose to hang your hopes around the lower limit.

Was it after the interview you declined their offer and why did you decline their offer?

Yea, I went for the interview. Nothing too personal, I had two options, one of the big 4 and Airtel. I wanted to get a 1-year experience from a big 4 first. I'm set to make the move.

A little more patience, I was part of the process last year, though eventually declined the offer for another coy. The final stage was in August. Lets see what they are up to this year.
