The final year student identified as Uwakwe Jennifer, reportedly died in an accident which occurred yesterday along the Owerri-Onitsha road.



The final year student of Information Management Technology, died alongside her boyfriend, Emetor Ikenna Godspower who lost control of the car and rammed into a stationary truck. Before her death, Uwakwe Jennifer whose corpse has been deposited at the Oraifite general hospital morgue for autopsy, was set to write her final exam later this week.

A renowned Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has revealed that she was sexually assaulted at the age of 17 by a big man in the media in Lagos, Nigeria.


The writer made this revelation during an address at the just concluded Stockholm Forum for Gender Equality.


While delivering the closing keynote address, Chimamanda explained how she had taken a book of poems she wrote to a “big man in the media” so he could support her in making the book go public.
She added that instead of supporting her, he sexually assaulted her.


She said he was friendly at first and impressed that someone her age had written a book. But the man soon came to her, slipped his hand under her shirt and bra, then squeezed her breast.


"I was so taken aback that I did nothing for seconds", she said. Then, I pushed his hand away, but gently, nicely, because I didn’t want to offend him."

Cuz it could take months or years .I know someone that transitioned for almost three and a half years.2013-early 2017.She didn't want to big chop cuz she had real lonng hair.

I tried transitioning too but after three months,I realized I didn't have patience for it.I wanted my relaxed hair gone so I did the big chop.

So transitioning takes time especially if you have very long hair.If you don't have patience for it,big chop.
