I don't attend Deeper Life, but I subscribe to their teachings. I don't use make up, jewelries or attachments and on my wedding day I won't use them either because I appreciate the way God made me to be beautiful. The man who wants to marry me would accept this because God himself who commanded this mod of dressing from me would tell the man in time to acept me that way. Every sane human being should reject deeper life weddings. Even though i never wedded there, i experienced a lot of deeper life weddings as a guest. From the uninspiring printing gown worn by the gown to the nwa teacher tailored suit coat worn by the groom and the fact that food is never enough. The most annoying thing is that after the church wedding you all the guests have to match begind the couple and singing this song...

The most recent one happened just yesterday.
The lady once invited me to deeper life and I went.

I attended their monday bible study,Thursday service and Sunday service.But when I invited her to my church she started asking silly questions.Tbh I was angry

I once invited a Catholic to my church and he said he won't and doesn't attend any other church except the Catholic church.I concluded he was narrow minded because I know of a Catholic colleague that sometimes attend Christ embassy.

But i noticed this mostly amongst deeperlifers.Every deeper life member I ever invited to my church, asked almost same questions.

Do you cover your hair in your church? I said no but if you like you can.
Does everyone wear earrings in your church?I said yes
Do you wear trousers to your church?
I said yes.
Ladies makeup too right?I said yes

They gave same answer.
I don't think I'll be there.

And they didn't come.

Why do they behave that way?

Former Nigerian vice-president, Atiku Abubakar has condemned those issuing quit notices and counter quit notices to fellow Nigerians in various parts of the country, saying they were misguided.



He said retaliatory quit notices will only make Nigeria, a blind nation asked for the restructuring of the country that will place premium on state residency, as done in the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement issued by his Media Office, Atiku said he was sad that there has been a counter Quit Notice issued in reaction to the unfortunate initial notices issued by some misguided youths in July of this year.

“Just as I strongly condemned the Quit Notice on people of the Igbo ethnic stock living in Northern Nigeria and the counter quit notices that ensued, I also vehemently condemn the retaliatory Quit Notice given by certain elements in other parts of Nigeria to persons of other origins be they Northern, Yoruba or any other ethnic grouping within our nation.

“First and foremost, it is a fallacy to believe that there are people of Northern or Southern origin. Nigeria only has people of one origin. We are all of Nigerian origin.

“As Nigerians, we must be pragmatic enough to realise the obvious truth that an eye for an eye will leave Nigeria blind.

“Let me at this juncture remind these “quit noticers” that when brothers fight to the death over a domestic dispute, it is their neighbours that eventually end up inheriting their father’s property.

“It is also for this reason, amongst others, that I have urged and still urge that Nigeria should be restructured and that state of origin ought to be removed from our constitution and other relevant laws and policies, to be replaced by state of residency.

“If we as Nigerians are tied to our residency, rather than the state where our ancestors originated from, this whole idea of Quit Notice would not have arisen in the first place.

“Let us remember that though we have many ethnic nationalities in Nigeria, we are all largely of one race. If people of different races can live in peace in South Africa and the United States, why can’t we do the same here?

“In fact, I posit that we can and should do the same.

“Finally, let me use this opportunity to commend the National Broadcasting Commission and the National Orientation Agency for taking steps to sanction radio stations that were guilty of playing the Igbo hate song and for embarking on an anti-hate speech drive.

“Nigeria is our only country and our value as human beings is tied to the value of Nigeria. So if we must give ourselves value, we must first give Nigeria value”.
