A very Beautiful and sunny morning to y'all mamas
Sorry to serial the thread but lemme rant before I run mad

My 4 year friendship is taking another turn..
So I met this friend of mine 4 years ago while TTC and we have really been supporting each other. We got married same year . We pray togeda, share experiences and even eat together. She is really peaceful and haven't had any issues whatsoever with her for 4 years now. I do love and care for her

I noticed things started changing when early this year I told her I'm expecting. She only said congrats and went offline. Unlike my first preggie where she almost screamed down the building from excitement. Usually I'm not a fan of telling friends and family that one is preggie but she's so close that I couldn't help it, oweing to the fact that I was in another state running a program only for me to return almost due, I felt she would feel sad that I couldn't share my joy with her

So she started ignoring my chats. 6 months later she msgd me only to discover I was on admission.
I finally relocated back to base and delivered. I'm not even bothered that she didn't show up and naming even though her house is just a pole away.

Now the issue is the 1st day she came to see us she met me bathing my 1 week old and said my baby looks like a defeathered turkey.. I was so shocked that I screamed WTF! She apologized and said she meant no harm but that my baby really look funny
Fast forward to 6 weeks later. She came to say hello yesterday and repeated the same thing - holding my baby's two legs and admiring them she was like" Chicken dey hungry me oo "..
This time around I almost told her to leave but had to control myself. I asked her what inspired the thoughts of eating chicken that early morning and she said my newborn's laps inspired her cos they look like chicken laps without apology. I shouted " so full human being now looks like chicken that you want to eat abi?" She burst into laughter.
She has been TTC for 4 years now, 1 miscarriage, 7 failed IUI and currently considering IVF. I had managed my temper so she doesn't feel cos she has no seed yet I mocked her or something. This is someone I dont go a day without saying a word of prayer for. Someone should pls tell me if I'm trying to overreact cos Im already afraid of the friendship
If you were in my shoes how will you react to this statement?

please run, this is no longer a friend. if na me that her end of coming to my house let alone carrying my baby

My father & my maker, I entrust into ur mighty hand all the mamas in this forum. Ancient of days u created them in ur own image, look down upon them with mercy & wipe their tears and deliver them from the agony of ttc, heal their organs and systems from every negative diagnosis. I commit all their homes into ur care especially those ones whose marriage are at the point of breaking up all because of ttc, I speak peace, joy & love into their lives and homes. give them double for their shame. embraass them with triplets & quadrupled so that at the day of their delivery all praises & adoration ll be ascribed unto ur holy name. father I bless all the wombs of all the women here, in the name of the Father and of the son and of the holy spirit ......receive ur children mamas.I await u all at the pregnancy & newborn thread in Jesus name

Application process as I promised.
A THREAD.

Please note that this is me sharing my experiences, was with a recruitment firm 3years + And practising HR over 8years now...please feel free to ask questions when I'm done.

So I posted a job on GoZambia website on Tuesday and by Friday, we received over 800 applications which I started to save. *we create a folder in which all the CVs for the position sit*. We have a full HR team & different people manage different positions when advertised..

Important to note here is its an HR department. We handle much more than recruitment; we have payroll, disciplinary, leave, staff loans, promotions to name a few. We dedicate time to shortlist & anything that makes the process a joy is appreciated. This is where you come in!

Your application is important. Today is not about a great CV but the application process, keep that in mind. First things first, read the advert. Read it and re-read it. Know what the position is and what it demands. Check whether you meet the minimum requirements.

Check the closing date and application process "how to apply". Do not make assumptions or assume any detail. Also, get the name of the advertising company. In our case, we are AB Bank not Banc ABC (we will talk about this as we go on....).

So firstly, when you are sending an application, draft an email to the stated email e.g. jobs@twit.com start a fresh email. I have seen email threads at the bottom of an application to us showing all other places someone has been applying to. This is tacky and screams lazy

An email can simply be the following:
Dear madam/sir

Kindly find attached my CV and cover letter for your consideration for the position of Social Media Specialist.

Regards,
Full names.

This email body is not where the cover letter should be pasted. NO.

The recruiting department can ask for the cover letter and it's additional work to start to paste your email into word on your behalf. Chances are a recruiter will skip it (harsh but I'm telling you insider info so let's keep going)..

Let's talk about the attachments. Attach only what has been requested. If they say no need for educational qualifications do not assume it shows seriousness if you attach them. It shows that you're not paying attention to detail.

Do NOT save your CV simply as CV. Remember I said we save them in folders? Once the folder has a CV saved that way,all others get a "this folder already exists..." prompt. We may simply skip and go to the next. Common ones are My CV, CV, CV docx, resume, Curriculum vitae, CV PDF

I had to leave out all the ones simply saved as CV. Going through 1000 applications is no joke. So be creative e.g. M.Sampa CV, CV Kangwa Chileshe, Saboi CV, Petersen CV2018. Make it unique, use your names. This is the one point in pricess where 1 can be left out..

Furthermore, you can have your cover letter as first page of the doc or save it separately and same rules apply on how to save it. Once these are attached to your email, add your subject to the email and send. The subject should always be stated, we have so many positions running

Subject most times is the position title. Never leave it blank. Only send the email ONCE! It's not true that you have to send an application everyday till it closes for it to be noticed but I see that & find it annoying if anything. You may be blacklisted.

If someone is sending the application on your behalf, ask them to state the position. Most times people just attach,no subject nothing. Draft the email on their behalf if anything, do what it takes.

Unsolicited emails; when an advert irks running do not apply for random ones ( any position in your company)most times what is advertised is what is open. Just keep looking out till you see something that fits your expertise

You may have a killer CV, be eligible even,so..Attach well labelled docs, get the position and organisations name right, send a professional email ONCE and make it a joy for the recruiter too! The little things...
All the best and hope the points help. Pls RT/Share or Rebroadcast.

Nope. She’s right. I graduated from Lautech and I am 1000% sure Lautech has a pre-degree program that accepts into 100L for ALL courses including MEDICINE. Infact, most of the medicine class consisted of people that did predegree. I had lots of friends who studied medicine as my roommate in school was a medical student. Even their best graduating student came in through pre-degree. I wanted to chip that in since but I didn’t want to be seen as supporting that quack doctor.

And btw: I don’t know which part of Nigeria you’re from. But, the pre-degree I know (Lautech) is not meant to prepare people for university education, it’s is meant to be a another avenue into getting into universities for those who can’t pass JAMB for some reasons. You do a one year per-degree in Lautech and then at the end of the one year, you take a really comprehensive exam. You have a choice of two courses to chose and you’re assigned your courses based on your final pre-degree scores. The people who don’t make the cut for their courses are given any course that they can lay hands on, unless they fail really woefully and then they are denied admission.

Lautech pre-degree even has an entrance exam, FYI. I took the entrance and failed. The irony was that I actually passed JAMB that same year and eventually my friends who had taken the exams with me and passed eventually were a year behind me then. Just letting you know.
Here’s a link http://www.pds.lautech.edu.ng/pdform2017/

both of us are saying the same thing. I also did the programme at unizik, the centre z located at mbaukwu which is far away from unizik itself it's called pre science then & 50% of the students don't enter school 2ru it.

Ma what you said isn't correct a lot of people studied pre degree to do MBBS cause my husband did and he went to LAUTECH
pre degree as in how in medicine? ?? Madame it's either ur husband switched from one course to medicine or he did pre degree science / jupeb which z a coaching programme which last for 6- 12 depending on the institution. its meant to prepare people who are 2ru with secondary for university.Go and ask him well..

You are beginning to lost lustre in your argument.

oga u are guilty as charged there is no two way about it.that u didn't defraud anyone what about those people dt pay u for consultations. why are u collecting money for what you know u are not. it's either U are a medical student or public health nurse bc no registered nurse can do this. just accept that you are not a doctor. it's simple

I am still saying I am not a student. All these were done in place of another. Yes! I did make this post. These are not me in person. And I am still saying.
You have alright to doubt me or not.
Well, you are not right regarding the pre-degree program because most universities do conduct some form of pre-degree program that allows students into study of medicine.

My posts are mixt up I understand, but I have the right to clear myself.
oga there is no university in Nigeria that conduct pre degree program to allow students into study of medicine . don't confuse them. the only program b4 university is pre science / jupeb we all know.

Am happy he even call me out cos i dont get to read all his posts. He even registered in April this year, maybe he is one of those old swindlers , just came in with a new moniker to deceive again.

Am sorry if i have hurt anyone, but be extra careful is the word.

Am sure some old mamas hasnt forgotten honeypie who also registered with a male moniker as doctor.

Chai, thank God then some mamas smarter and have eyes sharper than the eagle eyes.

I remember the way one will answer all medical quetions posted here, not know he was getting all his answers from google until Beetle bursted him.

I wish all those old mamas can come around. There were fights, but truthful. Them catch you like this no mercy, you will see all of them coming from their hideouts to race their hands.

Fruitful mothers and doctors in this house ,I greet you all. I ve been trying to conceive after my miscarriage which happened about 4 months ago.
I went to run lab tests with DH. My blood tests were ran on cycle day 10.my cycle is very regular and shows every 27 days.
Attached are the lab results.
FSH
LH
Testosterone
HVS
Semen Analysis......DH'S result had this cimment;scanty WBC's and RBC's observed.

please do not pass me by,as this is the only platform I get a lot of inspiration and encouragement from.

God bless and grant us all more than our hearts long for.

from my little knowledge; ur dt needs to culture &sensitivity test to know the offending organism cos there is traces of infection.
in ur own case how many days cycle are u, hormonal profile z best done on cd 3 & 21. the only test done on cd 8- 10 is Hsg. so with this result it's had to interpret the values cos ovulation z on the way so all ur hormones are preparing for it. I stand to be corrected though
other sabi mamas & papas ll contribute once they see am
