Good morning beautiful sisters. It is with heavy heart I come this morning. I'm not happy at all. I did hyteroscopy / laparoscopy last month on 8th precisely to remove adhesion from the uterus & cervix. Balloon was inserted to prevent re adhesion. My menses didn't come last month maybe because of the surgery. This month I was giving letrozole from CD 3 to CD 7 while I'm still on carbagolin for high prolactin. Today is my CD 13th and I've been using the ovulation test stripe since CD 1 till today yet it kept on showing FAINT line on the test result. Does it mean I'm not ovulating even with letrozole? Pls what else can I do because I really don't want this year to elude me. It's been 6years of nothing.

What dose of letrazole did you use, don't conclude yet, trying doing tvs because ovulation kit doesn't work for everyone

Why are you worried about babies weight when you will be going for elective CS. Endeavor to eat well so that they will gain enough nutrients because some twins come earlier before their Edd and if they didn't reach up to 2.5 kg at birth, you will spend more time in the hospital

I took the HSG film to my gynecologist and he said the result they gave me was wrong. And tubes are patent. I wasn't convinced, I took it to another gyn and he said the same thing. My gyn suggested the trigger shot. I don't know why it is and how it works, that's why I asked. They only said they saw 3.8cm paratubal cyst.

Work on your egg quality hun..
There are lots of ways to do so. Omega fish oil. You can get this from your local pharmacy. Ubiquinol, Vitamin D3, eat plenty of green veggies, carrot, cucumber etc. Check my post, I have answered this question in the past. Their are many ways to increase your egg quality. Do this for 3 to 6 months straight.

For shorter circle, one thing that helped at a time is:
Vitamin c 200mg with a ferious tablet daily or take a multivitamin/Pregnacare. If you have short luteal phase speak with your doctor. He/she may place you on progesterone two days after a confirmed ovulation. Continue with the progesterone if you conceive (your doctor will up your dose when you conceive) and stop when you see your period.

Whatever supplement you take. Always allow your body to rest intermittently after 3 to 6 months.

Had a trigger shot on cday 15 after seeing a mature follicle of 22mm, 20mm, 23mm respectively, also I am metformin 1000mg daily divided doses for a month plus now, I have done 2 pt strip test and both bfn on cycle day 25 and 28, today is cycle day 31, my period is usually not late and it has always been 28days, I this I had cramp for 3days and it

Are taking any other supplements especially the one that contains vitamin c or b6. they can delay period too

Points to note:
Fibroids are predominant in blacks .
Nigerian brand of folic acid (given at ANC ) is 5milligram(5000micrograms). Daily recommended dose of folic acid (foreign brands) is 400micrograms.


While there's still no data on how and why fibroids form (I believe if this plagues whites too there would have been ample data already), our doctors generally advise not to take the 5mg folic acid as it tends to increase the size of fibroids due to excess blood. Same reason why fibroid grows during early stages of pregnancy (for a coexisting pregnancy/fibroids) and sometimes degenerates when the baby starts growing bigger.

From personal experience, with symptomatic fibroids and 6months of nonstop bleeding my doctors only put me on iron tablets and monitored my pcv...before surgery.
With my second pregnancy and coexisting fibroids, my doctor didn't give me the Nigerian brand folic acid in the early stages of the pregnancy as I already had a case of threatened abortion (and he stated the reason too).

If you have fibroids with heavy bleeds, take iron tablets and stay away from Nigerian brand folic acid.

One thing I’ve noticed from my usage of folic acid is I get extremely wet. I may just wake up from sleep and find out my vagina is wet like okra. Any small thing I’ve gone wet. My ovulation days are hell... I have to go to the bathroom to wash off every time to take off
the okra discharge.

There is no scientific evidence that folic acid causes fibroid but research said it. The logic was that folic acid helps baby to nourish & develop/grow baby in the womb but when there is no baby,it prevents total shedding on lining during menstruation thereby leading to development of fibroids.thats why they advocate people with fibroid not to take folic acid. I stand to be corrected because no be me do the research.

I really don’t know how to go about this but I really need your help.
My husband and I have been TTC for 4 years now and two weeks ago was one of the happiest days of our lives as I did a home pregnancy test and had BFP
We are supposed to be 6 weeks yesterday and we did this scan and this is he result.
