True, merit played a huge role, But ZONING(FC) played a huger role. When my boss inquired on my behalf from his HR contact 2 weeks ago, The first thing she asked him was "what state is he from?"...and I'm from IMO State. what she told him thereafter is personal.. but what I'm saying is merit, Yes, but the complexity of State Zoning is only by God's grace.. She said the real competition is in those states that had huge population during the interview.

Apart from me, two of my friends that also did the NNPC interview are also not going to take the offer anymore if they get it.

One got a big promotion in his workplace that almost doubled his salary. Another got a job with an IOC that offered him above N30m gross per annum.

The NNPC APL will drop soon. Now here this: do you know that some of the delays you saw before may be because God wanted to fix your name in an adjustment that was carried out on the NNPC recruitment list? Be patient!!

Humbly yourself! Can you see that the NNPC GMD is humble. It is wrong for you as an applicant to begin to wish who will enter or who will not enter NNPC, or which cacus should be formed when you enter NNPC. That looks like a garment of PRIDE. God sees your heart, and if you do not deal with that issue, God can resist you in the future. Be humble!
