I hope the GMD will not tow the current trend where by after more than one year of recruitment, they will declare the exercise "inconclusive" and give one funny excuse of being under one form of pressure or the other from Senators and high-ranking government officials to hire their wards.

On the other hand, if you have a high-caliber network in the political sphere, now is the time to activate it. This is Nigeria and there would be a lot of political favoritism. Utilize your network effectively. Networking is not bad. It is bad when it is grossly abuse.

In oversea, Canada and UK, precisely, people get work through referral - I don't know if Referral here could still mean networking or nepotism in Nigeria context.

Anyway, prepare well, pray hard and network hard. Politicians kids are not doing anything now - they are all waiting for this kind of opportunity and most of them studied abroad.

I said this here last month but some people were abusing me. No APL till May 2020. I was told NNPC has a lot of Idle staff presently that they are looking for where to place them because of the restructuring of the corporation. NNPC will release the list when they dem fit to do so. But he said it will take close to a year if not more than that. NNPC recruitment is not cancelled.

Don't worry, I will definitely be among too...but the difference is that I will actually be spoilt for choice whether to accept or not cos d future of my business is currently looking brighter than being an employee of any company. I will have to be certain about flexibility of time to really make me take the nnpc job. I no send them tbh. Alot of water has passed under d bridge since d test.

It's just that this APL has turned many heads here. It's easy to see that the way he drops his info is pure and devoid of any want of attention. Unfortunately many here have totally lost touch with reality so they prefer to keep living in thier minds. All d APLs will drop in January, aren't we proceeding to mid already? I feel for many of you tbh. Watch them drop fake positive news again about how thier uncles brother nieces friend is top source as nnpc and he said APL is locked in a safe but the janitor has misplaced d key, once he finds they start sharing. Shior!

You have echoed my thought and that of many sensible people around me I've had a discourse with about this recruitment. It is really sad and unfortunate how we get treated here. Communication is vital. It seems in this part of the country the government can get away with anything without accounting to the people the motives behind their actions. It is the same way the presidency keeps mute on certain important issues bothering the people. Zero communication to me is utterly disrespectful to the concerned parties.

This below is a screenshot of a chat I was having with a British friend of mine about a month ago. When I said in my last post I am almost moving on from this phase, I meant it. It's so sad. We all invested so much into this recruitment and deserve at least an unambiguous communique from people at the Towers. May the Almighty pave better ways for us. By mid or end of this month, I should just leave to start my PhD (officially starting on the 16th). That will be the final nail on the coffin of my NNPC dreams.

It's crazy I have to tell you. I don't want to be a downer and all but do you seriously believe no new staff GT/EH has walked into NNPC since june/July last year. No, seriously think about it. More than 7month no new staff.lol. I know what I have heard though but yall seriously need to stop indulging these clowns.

I made the assertion to dispute the assumption that the agitating contract staffs at the refineries are the cause of EH cancellation.

I am not in any way discrediting your source. But why conclude the GT first before talking about how to move forward with the EH? GTs and EHs wrote tests together. GTs and EHs did interviews together. So why the discrepancy now that it's time for notification?

Latest January because I can’t pin a date because this things are out of anyone’s hands but I can tell you AUTHORITATIVELY LETTERS HAVE BEEN TYPED for the GT’s with their Salaries included in them.
