macbeyland: My 3g modem has never left the port of my queen since the day I bought it over a year ago and I have not had any fault with the decoder. In fact I currently have a Wi-Fi adapter plugged at the rear port while the modem is plugged at the front port and I don't remove them No issues so far

I advice you to correct this now that your decoder hasn't developed any fault. Don't wait till when it starts and then come here with stories like 'my decoder only displays load and doesn't boot'. If this happens you either get a new box or a qualified engineer to remedy the issue.

Who else is enjoying the Liverpool game with zero freeze

My decoder gave me a scare this evening, after it had me thinking something had gone wrong with the crystal oscillator when it displayed load and didn't boot afterwards.

What i had to do was remove it from the power outlet and i opened the covering so it could receive some air.

That was when i understood that overheating is potential danger for the queen.

My adivice, always make sure to leave the queen in a cool environment and always unplug your 3g modem or any other storage device when not in use.

Everybody who hasn't scanned their decoders in a while, should do so. New channels has been added to the queen's gallery. My code 45 is blazing with mtn 32k sim and 3g modem and N50 airtime

macbeyland: congrats, since that's the real reason you bought the queen. Maybe you haven't seen slideshows on computers.

I don't know about you Mr. But those are what helps me not to think of the queen not working due to one problem or the other, rather than anxiously waiting or coming here to start whinning.

What exactly, did this action affect the working state of the queen

Has anyone here tried the extra features that comes with a qsat decoder e.g news, weather, youtube, games and internet radio, rather than whinning whenever there is a server problem. Just checked out mine, they seem cool, especially the slideshow of photos

Almost all french and chinese channels are working at my end...
This keeps getting better, even channels that are not available on the 11k bouquet are currently working. These guys really tried with their upgrade.

I don't really know. But from what i read, the footprints of most of these satellites are in North Africa. So to gain access to most of these asian channels in West Africa, you will need a really large dish.
