RomanceRe: If You Can’t Handle This, Don’t Date A Single Mom by NoahHadNoArk: 12:51am On Jan 14
ObaKlaz:
If I post now, Nairaland single mom feminist mods hiding behind 'bots' go ban me. I deliberately posted this on page 4 of the thread, but dem go still find me come here!😄
The OP didn't add that some single mothers have that propensity to be habitual liars & prolifically promiscuous!

I was dating a single mom in my early 30s, untill I discovered that she was a free-to-air TV channel. Different men dey bend her anyhow, whip her better doggy. And she is a habitual liar. Honestly, I actually took her seriously at some point, maybe because she dey gimme better 'Jihad' inside 'the other room'.

One day, I woke up, and decided I had had my fair share of the sexercises, & had enough of her BS too, so, I told her to swerve elsewhere. Four days later, this lady sent me pictures of a pregnancy kit test she ran, which indicated she was pregnant, that was when I remembered I once linked her WhatsApp to my laptop without her knowing (she gave me reasons to suspect her, I acted on my suspicion & saw I wasn't crazy - this bih was actually getting ploughed by all sorta guys.)

I discovered that the so-called pregnancy test she sent to me was actually posted by someone in a WhatsApp fertility group she was in. I also screenshotted her chats and downloaded voice notes where she was planning to meet different men in different locations for doking.
I didn't say much - I forwarded everything to her, including screenshots of the fertility group she took the supposed 'pregnancy result' from.

She has not responded to me, till this day!😄😄

As a single guy who has never been married & got no kids, you have NOTHING to gain by marrying a lot of those single mothers out there, except you are one worthless excuse of a man.
Chakam!

Christianity EtcBbc’s Disciples: The Cult Of TB Joshua, Two Years After. A Call To Holiness by NoahHadNoArk(op):
Everyone knows the story of Ikemefuna, a subplot from Chinua Achebe's things fall apart. For those of us not in the know, some who may have forgotten, and others who were just too lazy to read a world acclaimed masterpiece, here's a summary. Events at the start of the novel led to Ikemefuna staying at Okonkwo's Household in Umuofia for 3 years, until the oracle of the hills and caves decided his fate. During his stay in Umuofia , he blended and bonded with Okonkwo's family like his own. He fed from the same pot, ate the same meals as the rest of the family executed same tasks and chores, shared the same childhood with Nwoye, Okonkwo's biological Son, who looked up to him like an elder brother, while calling the master of the household, Okonkwo, "Father".

Eventually, the oracle of the hills and caves decreed that the boy must be killed. The eldest and wisest man in the village went ahead of the Elders to Advise Okonkwo. These were his words:

"That Boy calls your Father. Do not bear a hand in his death."

Since Okonkwo was one of the elders that will execute that decree, Ogbuefi Ezeudu counsels him to, while being present at the event, refrain from participating in the very act of killing Ikemefuna – because he calls him FATHER.

Okonkwo refused to listen to the wise counsel of the older man. It never crossed his mind that, by having lived in his household for so long, Ikemefuna had become, to some extent, a member of his family, and to participate in his killing would be equivalent to spilling the blood of his own offspring. He was afraid to be considered a weakling like his father, Unoka, had been, and this fear, blended with his colossal pride, led him to strike the fatal blow himself, with his cutlass, at the place of the boy’s execution.

Okonkwo’s absolute disregard of Ogbuefi Ezeudu’s prophetic counsel came with dire consequences. His killing of Ikemefuna haunted Okonkwo for days, giving him nightmares and causing Nwoye to withdraw from his father and retreat all the more into himself. There's more, the tragedy of the boy’s death marked the start of series of misfortunes into Okonkwo’s household, and ended in Okonkwo's suicide many chapters later, a death far less honourable than the man himself would have desired, which meant that he had to be disposed of like a dog and an outcast, rather than being buried with full honours by his kinsmen because of his achievements in life.

It's been exactly two years since the BBC released its documentary, "Disciples: The Cult of TB Joshua - BBC Africa Eye". In the Video, the late Televangelist was addressed by so many names, from Man of God, to predatory cult leader. Whether that documentary was correct or true to any degree, remains debatable. But there's one thing we can agree on, that video exposed the rot and increase in cases of sexual immorality in our places of worship. In the light of this, let us remind our priests, pastors, faith/church leaders, choir leaders, catechists, evangelists, cell leaders, general overseers, and everyone else tasked with different responsibilities across religious circles, individuals enjoying the trust, believe and Confidence of the people of God, to look back at the previously mentioned counsel of Ogbuefi Ezeudu, with the tragic tale of Ikemefuna and Okonkwo, as a back story.

Our Churches and places of worship are sacred places of haven, asylum, retreat, harbor, and shelter, were everyone is sincerely devoted to the worship of God. It should still remain a place where God-lovers gather like in a sanctuary, to be safe and fed by shepherds of the flock of God, to be guided in a path of light and righteousness. They are not meant for such things as immoral activities and the likes of the sins labeled against Joshua in that infamous documentary. But in speaking truth and reality, so long as there's a community of faithfuls, mortals, men and women with blood and hormones coursing through their veins, sin and scandal will always be in existence. It is basic human nature.

With that being said, let us not turn a blind eye, and allow incidences of sexual misconducts to continue rising relentlessly, in our places of worship. Issues like fornication, adultery, bad counseling, fake miracles, false prophesying, gaslighting, malice, abuse of minors, infidelity, multiple sexual partners, and other forms of immorality should not be made a norm in the house of God. It becomes worse when these acts are committed by men placed in leadership positions in the Church, making victims of those entrusted to their care.

Apart from the noise and scandal such acts create in our society at large, with the powerful workings of social media, they betray our identities as people of God and imitators of Christ. What's more? Plenty people have lost their faith and trust in God because of the horrors they witnessed and endured in the hands of ministers, leaders, elders, priests and religious in various places of worship. Again I say let us not allow this to be the norm. Let us keep living up to our name: The Righteous people of God. Presenting ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God in a spiritual worship.

There is a very disturbing scene in Chinua's "Things fall apart", were Ikemefuna is about to be executed, his assailant strikes him with a machete, he runs to Okonkwo for cover and screams loudly the now infamous words, "my father, they have killed me!", in high hopes of protection from his adopted father. But Okonkwo instead of shielding him, is overcome by the fear of being called a coward/weakling, and draws his own machete to strike the fatal blow, killing a boy who called him Father, and as a result, defying that wise counsel of Ogbuefi Ezeudu. That scene tugged my heartstrings till no end.

Go ahead and imagine those feelings of letdown, and heartbroken look on Ikemefuna's face as he fell to his death, then you would understand the disappointment the church congregation feels when these scandals hit the air, a reminder of the untold horrors and abuse faithfuls suffer in the hands of trusted and revered ministers, elders and leaders of the church, and men of the robe. In our country today, it's normal for the choirmaster to have bedded half the female choristers in his choir. It is no longer news when we learn that that Pastor whose wife we all know, has a mistress who is the choir director or a member of the church wardens. That other Pastor keeps a harem of girlfriends and "side chicks" and funding their lavish lifestyles. We are no longer surprised to hear that the General overseer who is married with kids, is dating that curvy solo singer in the choir, who has performed countless number of abortions for him, and everybody is okay with it for the sake of peace. We have men who once swore to be celibate for life for the holy mother church, now counting scores of young girls whom they've been romantically linked to, and still counting. Sad to note the impact of shame in our society is lost.

Many of these faithfuls run - like Ikemefuna did to Okonkwo - to these leaders, ministers, men of the robe, and the religious for guidance, and protection. Let's all be reminded that It will be a terrible abomination for these clergymen to take advantage of the gullibility, vulnerability, ignorance and naïvety of the sheep in their pasture, by striking them down in their moments of weakness, instead of offering them the sanctuary they sought for in the first place. These stories never end well, just ask Okonkwo.

-That Young girl calls you Daddy
-That married lady calls you Papa
-That man calls you Pastor
-That boy calls you Father

Do not bear a hand in their spiritual deaths or downfall.

Let us stop and listen.
My Peace I Leave You

Bless up

*God, The Father of Jesus Christ, The maker of all things visible and invisible, was, is, and will always remain the proper object of All Religious worship*.

_Know this and come to terms with it_.

God Alone, that unseen hand behind the infamous big bang theory, is the only being worthy of reverence and worship. Not effigies nor statues, nor images of holy people or stickers of your thieving Pastors and Lying General Overseers, but God alone.

This thing you Nollywood lovers do, is what kills our industry and puts us second best to Hollywood and Bollywood, Stereotyping. Knowing the role an actor is about to play just from seeing his name on the cast. It steals the suspense and robs viewers the thrill.
