Well done OP, Teachers are really struggling in the country, coming early to school and leaving last, you must prepare your note of lessons on time and deal with sexual harassment from the head teacher or Headmaster, (for the female teachers whom I know).


All these for peanuts as salary


Sometimes these salaries are late in coming or deducted for flimsy excuses.

Most schools actually deduct salaries as tithe😒

If the Government Could add that 50k to teacher’s salaries, then more and more credible people will seek teaching jobs, then the future of the next generation will be brighter

For now it’s looking bleak and bleaker.

This here is a major problem of our schools today, staff welfare.

My Sister earns 20k in a Nursery school she’s hanging on to, now let’s say there’s an increase of 50k to her pay, bringing it to a total of 70k, it’s small in our economy today, but better than nothing, it looks enticing and could actually put a smile on many faces.

But now she’s planning on quitting cos the salary package is small, add on top of that, the head teachers constant advances on her, and his hostile actions towards her, after turning him down times without number.

These happens in most schools today

My mum has single-handedly raised i and my 3sisters since Dad passed, it got so rough we lost a sister in 2005.

She sells Firewood in the evening at the market and water leaves in the day, just to make ends meet.


I have deliberately refused to get a gf because I am working so hard to put a smile on mums face and reward her for her pains, tears, dedication to family and sacrifices.
