Hello guys. How is everyone paying for their flight tickets? I have tried to pay in naira but it seems none of the airlines are accepting naira. I do not have a means of paying in dollars. Is there any other way to book these flights? most of the offices i also visited are quoting outrageous prices. Kindly please advise. TIA

To get a cheaper ticket depends on the timing and luck. You can pay for your ticket in naira. They are quite expensive. Try wakanow( you can also make payment instalments) which l did too. The earlier the better.

1. Can i use the new IRCC portal or the GCkey to apply.
2. On the IRCC portal to apply for visit visa the first option is ' Reunite with a family member' but we dont have anyone just for tourist. Which is the best option to choose from.
3. Since we are going for just tourist is it advisable we pay for hotel reservation and attach the receipt.
4. How much should be our POF for a family of 4 .
5.What are our chances since we dont have an invitation letter. Reponse will be appreciated.

It is very possible to create for your family members separately am sure someone will put you through on this platform, it was difficult for me to process l had to go with the first option which was attend the physical interview today , our visa was approved. Praise God.

Yes, you now qualify for interview waiver provided you paid visa fee prior to May 1 2022. Dropbox validity has been extended to 48 months. I was able to get appointments dates for both my parents for 1st week in Dec

Good day i need help too, our visa expired less than 48months and visa fee paid in 2020 but the embassy has been rescheduling us since then. Finally our interview is less than 2months. Is it advisable we process through drop box. �

Checked the page and saw that it has been changed to 48months which we were qualified for. My family of 4 interview was resheduled from April to jan 2023 and we booked our flight ticket today against january for Abj to lagos. Infact this people are very funny. It is well.

NB: my dad is over 70 and mum is close to 70 years.

What can I do to help their interview go smoothly. Any advice will be appreciated.

I advise your sister send a copy of the invitation letter, even if the VO doesn't ask for it. From my mum's experience she was asked to provide the invitation letter and copy of my sisters US passport. So i advice they go to the embassy with supporting documents anything can happen.

For people visiting the USA from Nigeria on a tourist visa, have you recently been asked to provide the USA passport of your relative in America whom you intend to stay with?

Additionally, have you been asked to provide their tax transcripts from 2-3 years ago to prove that they can afford to host you as a tourist visiting the country?

I’ve gotten a few people to visit me in the past on tourist visas and it has never come up. Is this a new thing? Anyone who recently went for an interview, were you asked to provide this information? Matter of fact if anyone can answer with specific details of information they were asked to provide as a very young person going on tourism to the USA, that would be incredibly helpful. Thank you!

In 2018, during my interview the VO asked me to provide copy of my sisters US passport, luckily for me l had a copy with me and l gave her, she logged in her status and returned it with the white form. So its very possible.

1. I renewed my international passport and also want to change my travel plans on my ds -160 form. Can i edit my ds-160 form using my application id without changing it.

I applied for B1/B2 for family visa and the interview was cancelled due to Covid in April 2020 in Lagos state ,re -applied in June 2021 and appointment date was May 7th 2022.
Our interview was rescheduled for January 2023.

We have relocated from Lagos and wants our interview to be in Abuja.
