Lesgupnigeria: In a bid to make it easier that you achieve your goal to successfully start your own farm business before this year end, for every acre/plot of farmland you buy on any of our farms estate in ogun state or oyo state I am given you 1000 suckers/seedlings for free.
When I told my team, some started placing their hands on my neck to check for high body temperature.
some were like "are you crazy, are you for real"
I once gave up to 5000 suckers away in 2015 for all investors that owns some acres in our ogbomoso farm estate and it pays off. We were assured of quality, consistent plantain supply for our buyers and we were able to get some percentage off connecting them with our buyers. you can check the link here https://www.nairaland.com/3011053/get-free-hybrid-suckers-up The investors make money, have guaranteed market; we also make our money by charging percentage, the buyer also get high quality, consistent supply. it is a win-win for all stakeholders.
I am also doing this again, I don't know when it will come up again after the expiration of the time frame.
From now on till ending of August, i will be given it out to investors/farmers who reach out to me through whatsapp 08164628081.
The time start now!

About going green and stream water. I think borehole can do anything stream water can do, I stand to be corrected. Delfarm in igbariam anambra state is a developing farm in partnership with shongai farm, I was there, they strive on borehole despite been a large farm with varieties of crops and trees. |

NextDayPn: Oga I DO NOT MIND KWARA OR THE VILLAGE AT ALL. I rather stay in the village and make my money than stay in the city and continue to struggle. The only issue here is borehole instead of natural water, because I have other things to do with the water that I believe anyone will love. My plan is to go completely GREEN. With natural water around, it would not take long before my oga start building his/her own house in the farm for weekend stay if not permanent stay. Sir, to me the only particular thing that makes a city a city is electricity, other things follow. I have this covered, its my hope that it will interest you. But if we have to start with a borehole, so be it, we can always get another farmland with a river or stream later, that may even be closer to you than you know. I want to thank everyone who have contributed. God bless you all. Good u understand. Farming is not done in d city but in d village. I deliberately ignore d fellow that called me wicked because I know he is ignorant. Back to business, I have other land by small stream but it's a waterlog area, that's where I have my fish farm. The available space there is not more than 2 plots. If the 2 plots will be okay for the project then no problem. I mentioned the other place because that's where I have enough land for any type of farm project one can thing of. |

NextDayPn: With about 100k with it, I can start to make 10k everyday after 3 months all year round, rain or no rain. This is no hoax, I have an agric business I have developed, sadly I do not have the land and fund to start. I have land and the 100k u need. If u can relocate to kwara and ready to leave in the farm then we good to go. And for all looking for land I have over 200 plots of land for farming. The land is in a village in kwara state, no light and no water. Tho will put borehole but that's wen am sure ill see ppl that have ideas and that is ready to work. |

Thanks boss for this thread. I have use rain gun nd spray tube. The problem I have with rain gun is, it requires a lot of water nd big pressure engine for it to go far. Again it can cause flooding, then it looks like it hardened the soil cause of d force with which it rains. Again drip water goes in dipper that sprinkler/spray tube. |

IHate9ja1: Am afraid to get caught up in uncertainty, when am ready I guess cocoa is the way to go for ME and my FAMILY! I have discovered many rush into agribusiness thinking of spending little to earn more, many are rushing into plantain farming too having be told sucker cost N100 and you sell for 1k,to clear anyone mind visit mile 12 plantain market,it sells for N500 deduct labor and transport cost. Cocoa plantation cuts it for me. The only problem is the middlemen/agents who rip farmers off their labor. I am awaiting response from Olam to know how to deal directly with them. My only regret is that we didn't look after our inherited plantation from our 3rd generation of more than 60years now, majority got burnt but mind you when things where tough it served us even though it was of the old variety and its still does In fact my dad has started re- planting with the hybrid. This income is not quite much but it is reliable and the market is readily available. Pls how much do hybrid cocoa cost nd what's the duration of maturity? |

Agriculture › Re: Ugu Farmers: Pls Help by noblefarm: 11:23am On Jan 28, 2016 |
TheUnbeatable: your soil in ibafo, Nigeria is Nitisol in the FAO soil taxonomy using the Harmonized World Soil Database software. its a peripheral look though but it is relevant. the soils are fertile with high nutrient and deep permeable structure and it has 30 percent clay and good for plantation agriculture.
from the pictures you sent:
the soil has abundant N,P and K. which is the major nutrients you need for your Ugu farming. you may not need fertlilzer for the first 2 planting cycles.
because of marketing, you can use organic or organomineral fertilizers available. the ones i know is pace setter organic fertilizer and sunshine organic or organomineral fertilizer. anyone that you can get will be useful. of course these are also the cheapest that i know of compared to GNLD and co. Pls my land is water lug area but I made the heeps big, will it affect my ugu? |
