Guys I'm confused and concerned, pls advise. My flight date is within the lockdown period. For those in the same situations as I am, what are you hearing? Is there still hope that our flight will be allowed into the UK? Should we change our dates?

Hello house, for those whom has had a successful visa application, please how did you manage the accommodation palava? The accommodation I wrote down during the my visa application replied my booking reservation that their student accommodation is only for adults 18yrs and above and that's a challenge for our daughter.

1) while looking for a new apartment, if the evidence uploaded on the TLS site differs from what's filled on the application form, what's the repercussions?
2) any leads on how to solve this accommodation problem? One that will have documentary evidence for upload on the TLS site.

Yimi4real:
I mean fill your dependent visa application form again from the beginning. Most likely, the system will automatically fill in the columns so it will be fast, then change the visa expiry date and you will have the IHS fees you expect to see. Well that’s what I did

Thanks Yimi4real, it worked.

It happened to me, it won’t let you go back. You refill your form and add 3 or 4 months if you haven’t submitted. You will be done with refilling in 3 mins. It is faster than waiting for them to contact you to pay more. Moreso, you will be paying a higher fee from October 1
Hello Yimi4real, by refilling what exactly do you mean, I've not paid, those that counts for "not submitted"

Good Afternoon House, please while applying for my dependant, after filling my start and end date (21/9/2020) to (19/9/2022) and imputing my visa expiry date (19/9/2022), the payment summary page showed $816 instead of the $1020 for myself. Please house, what did I do wrong and how can I amend this?
@mimilyrics @mattfeuter @justwise anyone who has knowledge about this...what can I do? I haven't paid yet, meaning I'm yet to submit the application

Hello House, how true is this gist:

"You can use your RSA Account to support your statement of account for your visa application."

If yes this will help cushion the rude shock that I'm getting from our unstable exchange rate. As at today, it's about 505.64.

Prospective students starting uni in September 2020, don’t work yourself up with all these random updates,

Prepare your documents (TB, Certificate/ Transcripts, Money in the account)

Don’t be caught sleeping when TLS opens. Because when you snooze, you lose!

My two cents cool

I just did and collected my TB certificate in Abuja.
I now have my passport ready, paid my deposit, have an unconditional offer, have my TB certificate and a funded account for my trip. Awaiting my CAS and VISA. God please perfect what you've started for me and all my friends.

My bad

That's just 3hours a day? My daughter will be 3 in March. What do we do before she turns 3, and what do you advice after she turns 3. Is 3hrs a day sufficient or we need to pay for the remaining hours of learning.

I need to renew mine so please if you don't mind, did you get standard (NIN not needed) or enhanced (NIN needed)?
Also, was it processed outside Lagos or at Ikoyi or Alausa?
Was it done yourself or you used extra help?

Thanks.
I'm in Abuja and did mine at their HQ. Not sure what you mean by Standard/Enhanced NIN one this is however sure, you'd need your NIMC number when applying so you can either register at any NIMC office before going or you do both at the NIS office. I also had help, he practically helped with all the running around.

I just did further search on BU and I'm so pumped up. Can't wait to get started. The school is relatively new (Est. 1992 or so) with new buildings and infrastructure. The atmosphere and environment seems friendly and welcoming. We also have two Nigerian acting as the Student Union President and VP in SUBU team of 5. The town is majorly a service area with so many retail shops, cinema, hangout spot, the beach. Lansdowne where "my campus...lol" is located recently initiated a new project aimed at improving the area into a modern commercial business district by 2021...This will hopefully attract more firms as well as encourage startup businesses in Lansdowne Bournemouth in the nearest future. This means there will be creation of more jobs and this to me is good news. Did I also mention that I saw some really SWEET flat at 300 PCM. "Disclaimer I Neva travel o...I still dey Naija, na just information sourced from the internet ooo"

Hello house, I'm kinda in a fix but seeking guidance and God's will and direction.
My friend is really urging me to come over to join him in Australia, he's spoken to his supervisor at work and at least a job is secured plus the cushion effect he'll give by splitting his bills at home with him. The question is due to my BSc in chemistry background migrating through skilled labour is a no-no. Now the cost of going through a masters degree would cost a fortune and I'd need to work my socks off to pay thru sch
That said, I joined a commercial bank in 2013 and I'm looking the way of the prestigious CFA as it could open wide several opportunities for better and highly paid jobs while still been at the comfort of our country.

In summary, without financial support from anyone but yourself... Would you channel all energy in migrating or study hard, bag this and get better offer for a better life..!! Your thoughts guys.

Kindly assist with study material for L1, plan is to work towards Dec (nobleabey@gmail.com) currently reside around Abuja and a study group/partner/whatsapp group will be greatly appreciated. One love..!

Thanks for your input but the course was chosen so it can relate with my work experience as my first degree and my current place of work have no correlation. If I apply for masters of my BSc. with no work experience, there will be about 4years gap in accounted for. I might be wrong, pls advice.

The aim is to get in then change course.

bligs:

Before you apply for any course, check the availability of the course on MLTSSL because the main purpose of coming here through the student route is PR, check if international business can actually lead you to PR in order not to waste your time and resources. My 2cents.

Hello all, I was directed to this thread by a friend and the love and support here is next to none. Well done all and keep up the good work. We all shall smile for joy in all our pursuits IJN.

I'm working towards applying to QUT for masters in international business for July intake unfortunately slot for IELTS exams for February is filled up for Abuja. I've submitted application for 3rd of March. Here are my concerns:

1) my university is on strike and can't get my transcript, can academic and work recommendation letter buy me some time? that is apply and during the period of review hopefully sch Shd be back on session.

2) my english test is on the 3rd of March, must the result be out before I apply for visa? If yes when is the likely time for the results.

3) any idea of the deposit fee to QUT before CoE is sent to me for visa application.

4) if I get a letter of employment post dated towards the completion of my masters program will it help in any way? If this same entity is willing to provide sponsorship letter, statement of account, tax clearance but no direct no relationship to me (the MD to one is igbo and the other Yoruba) I'm Yoruba, will it help?

My Documents available are: current employers letter of introduction, academic and work recommendation letter, SoP, Waec and Uni certificate, intl passport, NPC birth certificate, CV, personal statement of account of 4million with an inflow and outflow of 15million.
