First questn to ansa is wt post I'm I going for? Graduate executive.
Then u def av to look like one n dtz d reason y yu r strongly adviced to go in ur corporate suit.
Ur beards/mustache shud be chopped off or properly trimmed, same goes with ur hair. The whole idea is to look n av d prospect of an employable yung bank executive lookin smart,articulate n trendy. A black or a blue-black suit wiv a white/blue shirt will do.
Finally the main interview: all I can say is that yu MUST possess 2 things wic is CONFIDENCE in SINCERITY. Dnt form n pretend if u dnt knw sometin, all dey want to see is a man/lady dts confident in him/hersef, hu can stand n defend both ursef,ur values n ur prospective employer.
The basic n FAQs r;
1) Y shd I pick yu instead of ur nxt seat neighbor
2) Y enterprise bank? Wt if FBN or GTB comes tomoro? Y did u choose to apply to work wiv us
3) Y d diversion frm ur field of study(if ur Bsc isn't bank rlated)
4) Do u tinc u good enuf to work wit us? Give us ur reasons
5) 5yrs frm nw whr do u see ursef? Ur dreams n aspirations for d nearest future....
Note: all this FAQs isn't to make u fail(bcz bn invited alone meant dt yu av bn looked at n u r good enuf to work wiv dem bt due to d numba dy av to tailor dir search to dos dt will be of good to dir goals n vision as a corporation) so u jus try n rlax n be ursef. Defend ur course,ur project,ur former employer(bcz derz a high probability of repeating dsame treatment to dem as well if u leave). Jus be real,legit,happy n realistic. All the best n see u in lag on tuesday..!!

2tex: pls can someone help me out here.

A friend told me about Diamond Bank recruitment yesterday. i decided to ''google'' only to find this nairaland thread.

pls friends tell me whats up. How did you apply, via e-mail, their portal, or hardcopy? if Hardcopy, where was it submitted?

Has the test been written already? if yes, could another batch be called up? is it too late to apply?

i stay in Abuja.

i honestly would appreciate answers to these questions. Tnx.
I'm sorry to break it to yu man bt dey've stopped collecting CV for this year and according to my source, there wudnt be any test this year again...dnt knw of nxt year tho...bt since u staying in abj, it wudnt hurt or cost u anytin if u confirm usef we myt be wrong. Hmmm...after a rili loooong nyt of thinking n praying(Naija style), trying to shake off the gloomy n long face I sat n drew some consolation from the whole issue, hope it help some1 too;
1) My odds of been picked in the next stream has been hugely heightened.
2) 6wks or at worse 10wks frm nw I'll share my own testimony.
3) By God's grace I'm 100% sure that I won't end this year an APPLICANT.
4) This has provided me with yet another 5-9wks of free styling(sleeping,watching all my season muvis,chilling wiv friends,goin to d cinemas esp on wed for free drinks n popcorn dt comes wiv d tickets LOL,,,etc).
5) That by Dec 25 I'd be able to get my siblings,parents n girlfriend gifts showing my appreciation for standing by me.
Basically my consolation is in the fact that by 31 DEC, I'd look back and say 'though d year was rough but I made it thru, and in fullness of joy n anticipation look forward into 2014 a FULL year of enormous possibilities n breakthrough into the NXT LEVEL'
Hope dis helps...cheers..! SAYONARA

gemstar2013: @nobleudeme, it doesn't have to be 10 weeks from now. The first stream has been in for 4 weeks now which means there will be a new stream 6 weeks from now. I used to console myself with the thought that the perfect position was opening up for me and that's why I hadn't been called for training. (Remember you get posted to the city where they need you the most) I'm sure your time will be the best for you.

Keep up the team spirit on here. This thread filled me with hope with all the banters, football nuts, sexy mums and gave me the info I needed to draw the ts dates. Thanks to every1 who has been a part of it.
okay man so in 6-10wks frm nw we all r gonna be in the system...it is well

PLS CUD SOME1 CLARIFY IF DIS IS D FIRST OR SECOND ABJ STREAM n IF WHEN NXT IS THE NXT TS? Wow...I was actually expecting n hoping I'd be one of those that'l celebrate today, I'd done a lil shopping n had also dry cleaned 'em all, I although knew all 300+ of us in ABJ wudnt be picked all at once bt I felt somehow dt I'd be one today...guess God knws best. One good thing however is d fact that yet another set has left us n the odds of bn picked for d nxt batch has bn gre8li increased. If u felt hard done by today pls console ursef even if dt cud be hard bt pls try...hopefully 10wks frm nw we'll join the train n celebrate. Let's be strong and shake off the disappointment. It is well
