The Obaship is not and have or has never been about selection. And they have never fought for the throne before.

It is hereditary.

Hi everyone, My real name is Kene Maduka. A native of Anambra State, Addicted to Coke and irked my friends regularly by listening to Beyonce and Madonna. when I am not cranking my head with Lovely Python and PHP, I am at my giant sized laptop doodling with 3d softwares. I am very much a 3D enthusiast, and I often wondered why I studied Parasitology and entomology when I could have being a Computer Scientist.....well my parents wanted a doctor and I resented by failing all my pre-med exams, huhuhu....

One should be himself all the time. Hard lesson.

My faves 3d software is Blender. Damm, if I die - I'll want this as my epitaph "He was an ardent Blender User"

I am mostly interested in characters (cartoony xters weren't much interest until late), especially malformed creatures, monsters, zombies, dragons and general Evil. Ma friends sometimes think I am some demon's incarnation due to my interest in so called "EVIL" but they are Neanderthals...lol.

And my favourite physical simulation 3d software is Houdini......the node based systems can be hectic but once you get the hang of it, you won't regret it!

What softwares would i love to learn?...hmmmm, cinema4D for the mograph and Modo for its famed Renderer. But I don't think I will have the time.

Currently , I have dabbled into Arnold Rendering system.

My biggest dream is to be part of a movie production hauz....THE VISUAL EFFECTS DEPARTMENT.

And I hate it when people say, you are a natural artist why the computers and programming shit?...Losers they are!

Ok let's begin with a distorted bird...
Hello Mr. MADUKA, I most say you good. Keep it up

The thing is I myself studied political science and am in love also with 3d and cartoons. I don't know how to do them or design them, but hope in learning soon.

I am in the processing of raising some millions of naira to start up an animation studio and company that would do movies and all kinds of videos in animation (high quality)

Hopefully in a year time from now I would be able to raise the required fund. I don't know if you would be interested? Kinda partnership, I bring the money you bring...... Just pm me so we talk more please.

HealthRe: Dental Hygiene; Mistakes We All Do by nobosaba(op): 5:41pm On Nov 14, 2015
Keeping your toothbrush wet.

Most people rinse their brushes and store it damp. A damp toothbrush is a breeding ground for bacteria and the next time you use it, you are unknowingly introducing bacteria into your mouth, which can cause bad breath and other gum diseases. Swirl your brush around well to eliminate water.

Not Replacing Your Old Toothbrush early

Replace your toothbrush every 3-4months not when all the bristles have removed.

Take note of all these mistakes and avoid them.

Stay healthy!

Brushing too much

Some people just overdo it. If you brush more than three times a day then you are part of the some. Don’t do it anymore, it hurts the teeth. Substitute the extra brushing with water rinsing.

You cannot start from same spot everytime

Most of us start brushing our teeth at the same spot. It’s a common mistake. When we start at a particular point every time we pick up a toothbrush, there is a high chance of getting lazy once we reach the last quadrant of our teeth. This means proper cleaning is not done.

We forget to brush the inner surfaces

While brushing our teeth in the busy morning time, our minds might be preoccupied and we can forget to brush our teeth’s inner surfaces. Such a mistake can lead to a buildup of plaque on the inner surfaces. You must also brush the inner surfaces of all your teeth to maintain good oral hygiene.

HealthRe: Dental Hygiene; Mistakes We All Do by nobosaba(op): 5:38pm On Nov 14, 2015
We use wrong brushing techniques

Most of us don’t know how to brush, try this;

Align the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to your gum line.
Using short, gentle strokes, move the toothbrush back and forth around your teeth.
Then brush circularly or vertically around the outer, inner and chewing surfaces of all your teeth.
When done, brush your tongue to remove bacterian and eliminate bad breath.
Finish by rinsing your mouth thoroughly.
Brushing once a day

Most people brush just in the morning. The Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth at least twice a day and preferably three times. You must brush in the morning and before going to bed. You should also rinse your mouth with water after every meal.

HealthRe: Dental Hygiene; Mistakes We All Do by nobosaba(op): 5:37pm On Nov 14, 2015
Choosing a toothbrush with wrong bristles

Brushes are made with different bristles. They may have straight, round, angled or zigzag bristles. Dentists advised that angled bristles are generally the best, as they help clean all the teeth properly irrespective of their position.Along with the pattern, you need to consider the quality of the bristles. Avoid using a brush with hard and stiff bristles that can erode your dental enamel, irritate your gums and cause recession. Always use a soft-to medium-bristled toothbrush.

I know brushing of the teeth seems like the easiest thing possible but most of us make a lot of mistakes that have different impacts on our overall oral hygiene. I will share some that we need to avoid.

2: Brushing Mistakes We Make Often

We use the wrong toothbrush

This is probably the most common mistake. We don’t know the size of toothbrush that we need to use. It is very important that we determine this because it determines how well we can clean our mouth. Use a toothbrush that is not too big that you cannot navigate it or too small that it hardly brushes a tooth per time.

I know we will all agree that brushing our teeth on a daily basis is one of the most important rituals that we do. You all know how you felt when you forgot to do this ritual. For me whenever this happens, the day has been automatically ruined because I will be low on confidence and will seldom contribute to anything.

You know the worse thing that you can feel compared to not washing your mouth is the embarrassment of someone pointing it out for you. So Never forget to do this so as to maintain a good oral hygiene. Good oral health also impacts your overall health. It helps prevent respiratory diseases, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, improve cognitive functioning and prevent stomach disorders.

Very Big and expensive Joke I most say. How will you feel if someone make a joke on you. Let's say he has not heard from you in ages, and decided to call you and said that your father just died.

And later he called you back (after you most have called everybody at your home to confirm the news and you and them is now confused.) saying it was a joke.

How will you feel?

Sylver247:
Fellow Nairalanders, I am the op of the thread on "How have you been surviving without a job?"
I have a friend who works with Shell, hes actually a childhood friend we grew up together. We have been apart for long cos he works in Warri while I reside in Lagos.
Recently we hooked up again via Facebook and we got talking on phone about life and all. Told him my jobless situation and he got very concerned about my plight. He promised to do something about it cos I was very open with him, didn't hide or form. He requested for my CV which I quickly edited, refined and wired to his email. He said he would submit it to some senior people in Shell.

About a month later he called me and told me something has come up. That there is 6 a year contract job that will be coming up in October and that I need to acquire a particular training (HUET) without which I can't work in the upstream. He said its normally free but the man in charge of recruiting people said since am just a referral, I have to pay for the training. He said the training is 65k which I confirmed and its true.

Now he promised to pay part of the training fee (40k) for me and said I should take care of the remainder.
I trust this guy (he is my very good friend from same community) but you know people can change suddenly.

I just need advice from people who know about this kind of stuff, if its possible or not. Its small money (25k) but I wouldn't want to be scammed off the little money am surviving with as am currently managing myself. I don't even have the money now but I can run round and get it.
He told me they are waiting for Buhari to announce his cabinet before the project starts and that he will call me.

Please advice me should I give it a shot?

davide470 uboma lalasticlala
Op and to others, this is a big scam. Be warned.

I was also scammed this way through my uncle in warri who is a pastor, he called me and told me of his friend working in shell that said there is a vacancy was made to pay 40k, then another 50k for training .. Men I don't want to go into details. But bro trust me it's a scam.

Oh dear! this is totally unacceptable! This Nigerian lady was assaulted by a man believed to be a Jamaican national on a bus in Peckham, London on September 14th. The woman was hit in the face by the man after she challenged him for obstructing the way in the bus.

The incident was filmed by a good man who was also on the bus. Watch the video:

I heard the guy got 18 Months suspended sentence & was ordered to pay the woman £1000.
