This is why Tinubu Political Sagacity is top notch. Donald Trump would have been more forceful with Nigeria if Tinubu listened to the like of Sheik Gumi and some Northerners chest beating US forces will go in body bags.

This is why it is good to at least have a President with a little bit of intelligent, Tinubu would be cooling off in US Jail cell now if he had mistakenly implicated himself that he supported Christian genocide in Nigeria and Nigeria would be experiencing more crisis.

Venezuela military have better assets than Nigeria forces, they have F16 fighter jets and S300 air defense system that Nigeria can only dream of still it only took 2 hours for US Delta Force to captured Maduro.
True, but he is not off the hook yet.. If Northern groups still keep launching attacks he may suffer the same fate as Maduro along with other Northerner leaders

Many will write epistles to vilify Buhari. Some will sing songs of false praise to try to win his followers.

Many will sing songs of lamentation that Buhari was the cause of their problems. Many will seek to defend him.

Many will think Buhari's passing will benefit them.

Those who think they have things to say, Buhari has completed his own tenure in life. His works are the testament of his own journey.

He has flipped his final page and those who wish to know him can do so by digging the bowels of history.

For those saying things, your own time will come to a close as well. And your own story will be told. You can't escape it.

May the Almighty grant Muhammadu Buhari forgiveness of his shortcomings. May his family receive strength to process this huge loss.
Mtchew.... The man was a bad leader period..

That is his legacy..

He left Nigeria weaker than when he found it.. the essence of a poor leader

Reported your post? Never done that, never will.

Of course Negroes in general have made some important inventions, just not Black Africans. The refrigerated truck is something I've known about for decades AND also the erroneous claim about the traffic light. Both were Americans.

Black Africa will remain the poorest sub-continent or region for many, many decades to come. The reason is THE CULTURE, the same culture that made them sell their brethren to alien peoples from across the seas. Anyway, have a good day.

Good Luck to Nigerians.
At least you had the courage to hit reply this time

Negro is black and that is my point

You also conveniently side stepped black Innovations that laid the foundations for written language and mathematics..

I gave you a name and still you claim my statement is erroneous?? You simply cannot ignore facts you dislike.

Every culture and people have engaged in slavery, from the Romans, Greeks, Arabs, Mongols and more.. This is not a phenomenon unique to black Africa.

Also you fail to make a distinction between Chattel slavery where a person was treated akin to an animal and the type of slavery practiced in Africa and the Islamic world.

In Africa and Arabia slaves could rise to higher stations. King jaja of opopo is a notable example. Born a slave rose to become a King. He became so powerful in terms of the palm oil trade that the British had to depose and exile him

Were you aware that Gibraltar was named after a slave who rose to become a powerful general Tariq ibn Ziyad.

In the Arabic world you have the Mamluks a slave warrior class who came to rule all of Egypt.. Black Malik Ambar of India who again was born a slave but became a famous and powerful Sultan. The cities he founded still stand today.. Then there is the black samurai Yasuke who was born a slave but became a retainer or samurai under nobunaga who unified Japan..

No such equivalent rise to power can be found under the Chattel systems of the Western world. The selling of slaves from Africa had a lot to do with the Africans misunderstanding the nature of western Chattel slavery. In fact some Africa empires banned slavery well before your beloved British. Benin banned the export of male slaves as early as 1516 and kept that embargo until the 18th century tongue. so much for your beloved British being the first.. You can worship them I am afraid I won't.. (source The Atlantic slave trade by Herbert Klein).

King afonso of the Kongo empire similarly appealed to the Portuguese to end the independent trading of slaves in 1526.. This embassy was documented by the Portuguese and in the book World History by Candice Goucher and Linda Walton..

Also again you sidestepped my point that most industrialised nations today did not industrialise as democracies.. As I said you don't know what you are talking about.

Also in truth, I think you are an Oyinbo.. either that or a self hating African which is sad and far worse.
TV/MoviesRe: Only People Born In 80's Will Understand by nograv:
IbeOkehie:
It's not about belief or self love or any such thing. The factors that lead to the creation of prosperous and happy societies are well known and proven by rigorous research. They are free markets, property rights, democracy and demographic homogeneity. Such societies have SYSTEMS that make INVENTIONS AND INNOVATION possible. Until Black Africans embrace and instill those qualities in their nations, they will NEVER become prosperous.

None of these OR any other significant invention can be attributed to a Black African citizen living in Black Africa because no Black African nation has embraced those factors EXCEPT maybe South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and we all know the why and how. All these Negro inventions were done by descendants of slaves sold by Black Africans, inside White dominated societies that are supposedly suffused with systemic racism. That's worth thinking about.

When Black Africans start inventing things that change the world for the better, everyone will start licking their nyash too. Until then, this 4th Class citizen of the USA will continually extol the Anglo-Saxon culture that has created some of the greatest and most stable nations ever to exist in human history.

Good Luck to Nigeria.
I already gave a lengthy response with quotes/citations and you reported it..

Disingenuous individual smdh..

Also stop quoting so it is difficult to respond, if you are genuine just hit reply.. So far no one has thumbed you up cheesy

Garrett Morgan was the inventor of the traffic light btw. Use Google and tell me his ethnicity. Oh he was black...

The invention of the alphabet and early advances in mathematics took place in afro Asiatic regions.. Egypt and Nubia black regions.. What are you talking about you self hating individual?

Also your initial assertion was that blacks never invented anything and now it is that most modern inventions came from blacks in the west. Shifting goal posts much??

Btw the majority of industrialised nations never developed as democracies.. You have no Idea what you are talking about.. lol

Even with all you wrote, they still paved the way for all those mentioned which I was referring to in the other post. Thanks for the history anyway
You ignorantly missed the point entirely, that they were merely part of the whole human story, which was comprised of many races and cultures including whites..

Imagine being so confident and yet so wrong.. mtchew
TV/MoviesRe: Only People Born In 80's Will Understand by nograv: 8:15am On Jul 06, 2025
ericmor:
All mentioned were able to achieve all that because of the white who paved the way for them. That’s just the bitter truth
Not at all.. I recall when history in primary education was abandoned under goodluck Jonathan's regime.. Now I can see the effects..

Interestingly white domination of the world started only 250 years ago.. Prior to that Europe was the backwater of the world.

I will give you a brief whirlwind tour of history

The Islamic world which included Africa was far in advance of the European world in what was known as the dark ages for them. Europeans themselves acknowledge if it wasn't for the scholarly retention and innovation of ideas in places like Timbuktu Mali, where black scholars studied at the university of Sankore. too. A lot of knowledge would be have been lost. Let's not forget other centres like Baghdad

Mathematics which had it's origins in ancient Egypt and Indus Valley civilizations was passed on to the Greeks who studied in Egypt as students. Notably Plato and other notable Greeks went to study in Africa. They admired the 'Aeithiopes' those of burnt face aka black people, stating that they were the closest to the gods..That is how far the black race has fallen..

Maths then was picked up by the Arabs who added further innovations and was known as the Arabic method by Europeans. Who at the time used Roman Numerals. Europeans didn't even invent the very own alphabet they popularised, as its origins are from Semitic languages which again were born in ancient Egypt. Before that Europeans used simple runes to write things down.

Exploration: Hell even the Chinese had circumnavigated most of the globe well before the Europeans, as had the Arabs. Christopher Columbus's ships were based on Arab Dhows.. Captain Cook who supposedly discovered Australia remarked that the harbour was smaller than he expected. How could he have expected anything if he was first to discover it? It was because he allegedly was using Chinese maps.

Lastly my favourite one is that you should already know that iron and the associated god Ogun has been dear to Africans since our birth as a people. So much so that black people are the only race on earth to have never had a bronze age we went straight to Iron.. We also pioneered Iron working well before any other race on planet earth. Furnaces have been found dating back to 4000 BC across black west africa. But the story doesn't end there.

A man called Henry Cort supposedly pioneered the Cort process to turn brittle iron into stronger wrought iron. This process kick-started the industrial revolution and 250 years of world domination. The only problem is that Europeans themselves noticed that the innovations in the process came from the 73 black African Iron workers, slaves taken from Africa not Henry Cort himself. Our greatness even lay behind a process that led to the domination of the world by whites.

I know I wrote a lot and it is just a drop in the ocean of historical events.. But please read history before apportioning everything to Oyinbo. In the same way they invaded and stole with violence. They also did the same with ideas and innovations..

I will give those who did innovate their flowers. But if you say iPhone thank Syrians as Steve Jobs was half Syrian Arab (bet you didn't know that). If you say computing thank black Africans as the origin of binary is the binary systems like ifa used across the continent that inspired early European Alchemists. Like I said I could talk for hours if not days on this topic.. Oyinbo this Oyinbo that . Smh mtcheww

After seeing all these developments over the years we still resent and hate the white men that, through nothing but inspiration and hard work, gave us all these things. Agreed that white men where brutal during colonial times, it should be given to them for practically changing the world positively.
Listen to him.. white men? Did you know that the traffic light ubiquitous to all cities in the world was the creation of a black man?

Did you know that the portable refrigeration unit was also the creation of a black man?

That the light bulb we all use and love today would not have been possible without the work of Lewis Latimer a black man..

I do hate the older generation and how much it licks the backside of oyinbo.. Had your generation had more belief in itself Nigeria would have progressed like UAE, Japan, Singapore or South Korea (All excluding Japan were behind Nigeria at independence and became first world nations)..

In a democracy you can't force anyone to do anything. Those senators are a waste of space...most people don't vote because the political system is criminal, votes don't count...we don't want to participate in criminality, we all saw what happens during elections...all of a sudden counting/sorting venue is changed, thugs disrupting the process...these political class should stop playing with our intelligence, stop pushing the people to the wall, you can't force us to participate in your criminality, I wonder how foolish they take Nigerians for.

Those senators, idle and fighting over egos and politricking should focus on pressing issues like ending kidnapping and terrorism and stop being useless.
You will vote jare, by fire or by force..

Talk talk, you will pass your vote.. cheesy
