Dybala11: Dude whatever you want, it doesn't make you clever one bit. You're still a tribal clown. We get your Yoruba counterparts on this forum too. Who brought tribe/ethnicity into discussion here? Is like you wan finally enter market naked this week abi? Never in your miserable existence tag/quote me with your tribal nonsense again. You will die young if you tag me to your tribal nonsense again. Say na Eastern blah blah blah, I resemble guys wey dey follow you drag tribal supremacy for here?? Noting the difference between the performance of different groups has nothing to do with supremacism.. Does the average African like you have shown in this thread have faulty thought processes and logic? Yes especially when compared to the average European and East Asian.. You are incapable of understanding nuance. You repeatedly make faulty conclusions of the arguments I am making and have no real argument in response. Based on the above I assume you will now say I think Asians and Whites are better than Black Africans? No but their cultures in general currently result in more progressive & optimal societal outcomes.. Can we change as a region yes, but are we there yet No.. Eastern blag blah, see how ignorant you are? I had this same discussion with a Japanese man in Tokyo. He understood my logic entirely and could argue his points without throwing lines like an unthinking parrot.. Please don't indulge me with your stoopidity again. Unless you have an argument beyond tribalism or blah blah. Shut up.. Ignoramous |

Dybala11: Educate me by telling lies?? Dude I don't relate on the same frequency with tribal bigots like you, whether you're Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa. I don't give 2 shits, not everyone is a nonentity like you. A stoopid tribal bigot like you is one of the reasons the country is going in the direction it is right now. I thought we were even having a meaningful discussion until that fufu in your head that you're calling brain decided to whisper the idea of towing the line of tribalism into your rotten skull. Your stoopidity is truly hereditary. Person wey never step him foot in an airport dey claim whats not. I said culture not ethnicity.. God you are stoopid I repeat as a Yoruba man, I have observed the respective cultures of each group results in markedly different outcomes.. I think what I am saying goes right over your head.. Is an Eastern European the same as a Western European? Even though the Germans and Scandinavians were responsible for industrialising Eastern Europe? Am I being Tribalist when I am pointing out differences between different white groups? Why do Yemenis lag behind gulf state Arabs? eventhough they are all Arabs..? Why do Hmong struggle compared to Japanese, Chinese and Koreans? Mumu get an education and read more.. Don't simply dismiss what you don't understand as simply Tribalism.. Clown |

Dybala11: Na your generations stoopid. Always eager to bring in tribe into any discussion, na to just enter market naked remain for you laidis, you don mad already. I know the madness is congenital sha, na your family heritage. Because not all tribes are created equal. When I have walked in banks and hedge funds in wall street, the city of London to Tokyo I found no Hausa or Fulani. Likewise the same for major tech companies especially when it came to software engineering. I found 3 Igbo for every Yoruba.. Speaking as a man with a Yoruba mother.. Whether you like it or not. The culture of each tribe results in very different outcomes.. I have educated you enough for today. Also as I guessed a mumu like you is the reason for Nigeria's ills. You did indeed give Buhari a second term. I guess that's why you couldn't see the difference between Amin and Abacha.. People may denigrate the Igbo, but I will give them one thing, unlike you they average Igbo is clever.. |

I'm not here to argue who's more corrupt between the two of them. Say you are from the North without saying you are from the North sha.. There is no comparison and you are a mumu if you think there is. |

Dybala11: He did good by his people by living lavishly and feeding fat on his country's resources. You don't know what you're saying sir, the same person that would rather print more money to furnish his expensive lifestyle when there's no money instead of cutting down on the excesses. Our political leaders in Africa are corrupt quite alright, but their military counterparts haven't done any better when they came to power too. The military regimes even enjoy more power than the politicians sef. For an African country to sit straight, you just need the judiciary to start the momentum at worst. Once the judiciary is out of the grasp of the political leaders, their power is limited to some extent. Is their any hope of such if the leaders are appointed by military regimes?? You can't be an African and will still be clamouring for the military in this current age, that only imply that this continent has no hope again. Like Idi Amin like Nigerian politicians. You seem to have a difficulty with nuance. The discussion isn't just a binary one. I am not pro military, I hate all military dictators. But some are worse than others. While Idi Amin had some positive qualities I would argue Abacha by comparison had none. Gaddafi was in many respects a military despot but all Africans know he did good by his people and the continent. There are other military dictators who did good things like Park Chung Hee who was responsible for the 'Miracle on the Han'. Whilst repressive he led South Korea's massive economic expansion. Samsung, Hyundai and others all have their origins in his rule. Deng Xiaopeng is another dictator who laid the foundations of China's massive economic expansion. When it comes to military leaders sadly it isn't always so black and white. Another interesting stat for you is that most industrialised nations today never industrialised as democracies. So it is even less clear cut. Like I said read a few books understand history before making faulty comparisons. Have a good day. |

Dybala11: Absolute power corrupts absolutely, expecting a military leader to remain in power for years and still keep the people at heart is like expecting a one in a hundred scenario to happen. Yeah, Idi Amin cared about his people by living lavishly while his country men were wallowing in poverty. Sorry Oga, Idi Amin expelled groups that weren't loyal to Uganda. He also gave assets formerly in hands of foreigners to Native Ugandans. Power may have ultimately corrupted him, but he did some good by his people. While Abacha by contrast died in the hands Asian prostitutes. He gave nothing to his people, ran economy into the ground and stole until there was nothing left. Learn your history before making false equivalence. The world knows of Amin because he did right by his people and that upset others. No one except for Nigerians gives a damn about Abacha... |

HugeElephant: Sincere Question, "how do prople get rich?". I want to base the question on Nigeria alone. How do Nigerians get rich ?
I look around and all i see is just salary earners, youth into poultry farming, fisheries, POS stand, hairdressers, carpenters, Gambling and bet, modernized TAXI drivers making use of some apps, clothe sellers and many more? Basically, many are not even living an average life. We are living below the average.
I have been wondering, how can i escape from this "below average life" or "average life"? i look around me and watch the TV. On the media and in songs, you hear different adoration of some Nigerians who had achieved the wealth threshold. How did they do it? i am sorry if i sound crazy!
For some of these rich people, you wonder, how was the struggle? How were they able to build their friendship base. How were they able to survive the government's myriad taxation. may bodies under the state government will charge you, my bodies under the federal government will charge you too. if taxation doesn't kill your business, you go dey pray make thieves no ruin your business.
i would have asked, How do people get rich around the world, but the world is too large and answers i might get may not be applicable to the society i currently live in. big respect to everyone that has been able to achieve wealth... As a man who knows the elites in Nigeria. ONE WORD 'CONNECTIONS' Everything naija traces back to OIL and your proximity to it. All politicians do is steal oil money. All so called business people do is service political contracts based on oil money. While some have direct access to oil money in the form of oil blocks.. Everything else is based on trickle down from the above.... Lesson over |

olawonder: See how ppl who hv always failed in life will come her to rebuke Osinbajo as a failure… those who, when giving the simplest tasks in their godforsaken jobs can’t even complete them without making the loudest noise, will come here to say Buhari/Osinbajo failed them! Tuuuueeeeh! As a Tokumbo born and raised abroad. Good politicians serve you in many ways. I am doing well in life, owing to a great free education. As education was cherished in the country I lived in, I went to good uni where professors were paid on time. Then I was able to find work in an economy that was well run, stable and where jobs were plentiful as a result. Then I could earn a good wage as corporations were regulated by govt properly. My wages went far as inflation was kept low. I even travelled to other nations as the local currency was strong and my money went far in other nations. Buhari and Osinbajo failed to achieve any of the above by contrast. They the left Nigeria poorer and less secure than when they found it. As a result they are simply FAILURES. They should leave quietly as they were indeed useless.. There is sadly little to suggest things with change for Nigerians under Tinubu who was foist upon Nigerians via vote rigging. Who appears to be cut from the same cloth forming part of the previous govt who failed so woefully. |

1. That a woman has money doesn't absolve her from being a gold digger sir ...
If she wasn't a gold digger, let her go with her money and leave the young man with his money, why want half his assets? ...
2. A woman's intelligence doesn't stop her from being a woman ...
And as you can see, with all her intelligence and ability to speak multiple languages, she still acted like EVERY OTHER WOMAN acts in the course of a divorce, so what are we saying ...
3. Whether or not she contributed to his rise isn't certain, I mean just because a woman is with a man who is just starting up doesn't mean she contributed to his rising ...
She could just be there hoping he rises and then cash out from it in future ...
But however, that she contributed to his rising doesn't make her entitled to half his stuff ...
If a woman who has known him for just 5years wants half his stuff, how about a woman who has sacrificed her all for his entire life?
What percentage is she entitled to? ...
4. That's your wahala...
5. That's an allegation sir and unless proven otherwise, he is INNOCENT ... Amen, a wise man has spoken |

Recall the two met in November with Adesanya looking to maintain his spot atop the middleweight and pound-for-pound rankings. But Pereira had other ideas for his former kickboxing rival. Despite appearing to be down heading into the final round of the fight, Pereira unleashed massive hooks that rocked Adesanya before the referee called off the action for the late TKO to crown a new champion.

Jesus said, "for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light."
The best you can clamour for is regionalism...they are easier to deal with there, and positive change can happen faster. I can't say I agree. As Tinubu showed as he brazenly stole an election, he is simply corrupt and untrustworthy. This old guard isn't worth negotiating with and simply should be swept away. That sad thing is he doesn't realise he is sitting on a powderkeg. The Nigerian youth are not happy with what transpired. If he doesn't deliver basic economic gains, given the history of other countries with a 'demographic bulge' (mass of young people), a revolution may be coming and it will be a violent one & he may not escape with his life. Look at what happened to Ceaucescau and his wife.. Good luck to the old thief Tinubu, he may not live long to enjoy the fruits of his criminal enterprise.. |
