weblord1900:Tell am, that was my first thought mtchew |
TjoBATHONG:The British have a statue of Mandela in London, did they not found South Africa..? Was their wealth not built on the colonisation of Africa and slavery of millions of Africans..? The Americans have a statue of Martin Luther King, wasn't their country built on the backs of African slave Labour..? With the brutal prejudice towards those of African descent continuing to this day.. A statue means little, look at the behaviour of the people on the ground. |
Khaleepha5681:Thank you bros, all the best to you too.. |
Khaleepha5681:Not really... Algeria is for Algerians and SA likewise is for its people. Especially regarding the latter nation, ask returning Nigerians how they were treated by xenophobic South Africans.. All of these countries are the same in my eyes, we are close to none of them. Our only focus should be whether they have anything we need and getting it from them.. No more no less.. When it comes to foreign policy, I don't care about religion or humanitarian nonsense, only cold hard economics... |
Khaleepha5681:What are you saying? ![]() I don’t care for either Israel or Palestine. I only care what Nigeria can get out of either nation. If South Africa or Algeria have a problem with Israel, that is their issue not ours… |
TjoBATHONG:Free Palestine you say? When those very same Palestinians treat Africans like dogs https://youtube.com/watch?v=CeI1tM_9q5k&feature=share Mtcheww some Nigerians sha, why support someone who wouldn’t support you…? smh. So because of religion we should turn our backs on the only true democracy in the region? Chai Buhari |

What caused the Nigeria civil war he asks? The wanton massacre of Igbos in the North, who attained contractual and positions of economic power by virtue of ability and hardwork.. They fled south and Ojukwu was of the opinion that since the North didn't respect the rights of all citizens in Nigeria, Igbos would be better served outside of the union... That analysis wasn't wrong as the North gave us despots like IBB, Abacha and Buhari.. Who all sent the economic fortunes of this great nation backward.. As for pogroms against minorities, this has sadly continued, with brazen attacks on foreign groups in the North. Jihadist activity and marauding herdsmen that gave rise to Nnamdi Kanu in the East and Igboho in the South West... Also why do you assume I am just Igbo, when my grandfather was buried in Ebutte Metta and my family hails from ijebu ode..? If anyone is the bigot here it is you mumu.. I just speak out against injustice.. while you are an apologist for Northern oppression.. |
kingjiss:Congrats you can use Google and at the same time completely missed my point. The point was Japan had no trailblazer in Asia, IT WAS THE TRAILBLAZER... Just because there isn't an advanced democracy in Africa does not preclude Nigeria from becoming one.. My point went straight over your little head as I suspected it would. A starting point for a better democratic government would be respect for opposition and opposing view.. |
officialtonnie:What have you been smoking..? |
olatade:Kicking the arse of his Northern masters.. |
princeemmma:Because Nigeria hasn't been mentally colonised, why would you wear the formal attire of people not even from your continent..?? ![]() I hate the dullard, but I respect him for wearing native dress.. |
kingjiss:No I am principled unlike you arselicker.. I would rather die standing than live on my knees. I will give the Igbos their due, they understand democracy, in truth the Fulani and Hausa never did.. All they have known throughout history is despotic rule be it under emirs, British colonials or under their own strong men. The sokoto caliphate was a slave society, held together with a foreign religion from Arabs.. The Igbo by contrast are truly indigenous with a strong preference for individual agency and a believe in the primacy of consensus. In pre colonial times the decision for war was decided by all able bodied adults in a village. When the Igbo noticed that Northerners did not respect rule of law, individual liberty and most importantly the concept of democracy they took it upon themselves to try and leave the union. It was greedy Northerners who forced them back in, primarily for oil. Why fight to keep a people who don't like you , who have proven themselves more adaptable and capable than you? Either enfranchise them accept what may be or let them go.. |
kingjiss:So because there isn't one, you don't aspire for the nation you live in to become one? When the only advanced industrial nations were only found in the west, did that deter emperor meiji? His boldness forged a path for all of Asia... A man who doesn't even know history nor politics calling anyone illiterate. The irony |
kingjiss:lol definately a northern one and man who doesnt understand democracy. Name me on advanced democracy where you dont have the right to protest peacefully?? see your life.. protest na be death sentence? mtcheww |
kingjiss:yup especially if he licks Fulani arse.. |
Kosoco:listen mr fake upvotes, we all know if an fatal attacks occurs in the countryside, 9 out of 10 chance the instigators hail from up north. A bank robbery or an attack in town minus bombing, then maybe a southern maybe involved.. You know this, even a 5 year old knows this.. |
helinues:The north has ruled 45 of Nigeria's 61 years, now sit down.. |
north has ruled 45 of Nigeria's 61 years gbam |
Bnladan:I am just telling the truth... |
Bnladan:Southerners care for all Nigerians equally, it is Northerners who don't.. |
Funny how when it is a death in the North, suddenly the vegetable springs into life and shows he cares.. Mtcheww.. RIP to the little one nonetheless... |
The saddest thing is Buhari probably didn’t even have to pay for that crowd despite all his failures… Northerners… Then again he really has been the King of the North for the North.. mtcheww.. |
See how even Olosho star, shows sympathy for the poor. Compare that to the vegetable who upon hearing the news would immediately announce he is off to London for some unspecified treatment.. Mtchew.. |
BluntCrazeMan:Google Earth NASA night map bros |
chiipink:stop that crap, when Yorubas and Igbos are increasingly fighting for the same thing.. we are both under the Fulani yoke, yet you want to make stupid jokes |
helinues:Lol try not adding fake upvotes to your posts then we might believe you.. |
That is the problem, after Buhari’s shameless ethnic nepotism, we need some of the same for the South to restore balance. We need a leader who will shamelessly appoint Babatunde, Kunle and Chukwu in every available position in govt ![]() If your name is Abubakar, Shettima, Abdul or god forbid Mohammed, you will know not to apply. ![]() |
spacofadan:Mumu I defend the people of this country at every turn.. Bar the North, people in this country can do everything any other nation of people can do.. |
Most Nigerians don't believe in themselves, so of course they will think anyone or anything from abroad is better.. Mtcheww.. |
gomojam:This line of argument that it isn't all of them, while seemingly admirable doesn't hold. Take 1939 to 1945 Germany fell under the sway of a man with a dangerous ideology. Now one could say he doesn't stand for all Germans so perhaps no action should be taken against him. But some like Winston Churchil despite his own failings understood that Democracy was a far better option for the freedom of people than Autocracy. Thus he fought against Nazi Germany even against the advice of his own ministers, he prevailed. Only on the eve of victory, did the true horror of Nazis genocidal plans become known, as the camps were opened up for all to see. Africans even owe him a debt, as Hitler had plans to cleanse the whole continent of blacks. Another example is Islam. Indeed some Muslims are indeed law abiding and peaceful. But the minority aren't and that minority in a population of billions numbers is significant. Islamic radicals are estimated to be between 15 to 25 percent according to various intelligence agencies, which brings the number to 180 million to 300 million who have a strict and violent interpretation of Islam. Turn a blind a eye to that population at your peril, as Iraqis and Syrians learnt to their horror with the rise of Islamic State. Syria in particular was a very tragic case, a middle Income nation with a sizeable educated population that was devastated by the rise of Islamic extremists. Afghanistan is another perfect example as the taliban a minority fringe group managed to seize control of the whole nation and impose their version of Islam. Unlike you I will not be an apologist for the actions of a so called minority, give it time and that minority especially if violent enough can subvert the freedoms of a whole nation. That is why I will not accept the argument it is just a minority, so we should not be concerned. No we should be concerned, especially as a equally significant number who arent involved either turn a blind eye to the atrocities committed by their kin or tacitly support their actions. They are the seed that can grow into a movement than can take over a whole nation and plunge it literally into darkness. Look at the satellite images of Syria taken at night before and after the Islamic state. Also don't engage in false equivalence, there are no Yoruba consistently slaughtering 100s of villagers every month, the same can be said of the Igbo. Also who would you rather have a neighbour a drug dealer (Yoruba), fraudster (Igbo) or a serial killer (aka the Fulani herdsmen). I would take my chances with the former two over the latter any day. As I said you are shameless apologist for the Fulani and Hausa. So we will never see eye to eye. Unlike you I care for all Yoruba and people in the South.. I believe the future of the South would be better served without the myopic views of the populations in the North.. They have nothing to offer us.. We are not friends and I am not your Brother. I spit on you. Now for the final time as you not dey hear well FUOCK OFF |
gomojam:I am not your brother and very far from it. Based on the nonsense you spouted so far, you are a very dangerous apologist for the worse excesses of the Fulani. Let's not forget even just today a number of villagers were slaughtered by herdsmen. This isn't just semantics, people are paying for Buhari's myopic policies with their lives.. As for Abooki lover, yes it is an insult. How can a man love a people who don't respect the primary arbiter of fairness in any modern society, competence and a framework of meritocracy. Ahmedo Bello espoused his contempt of meritocracy as he expressed his hatred of igbos by saying he would first hire a Northerner, then a foreign expatriate over and Igbo. This mumu didn't appreciate that work should be apportioned only on the basis of ability. If you subvert this principle or fail to understand it, which the crop of Northern leaders Nigeria has weathered have shown, then poverty is your reward. Take Brazil it should have been the United States of the South. It wasn't because it was founded by the Portuguese who value kinship ties and class over competence unlike the English. The result a poor man's version of the United States.. Most of what I say is probably going over your little brain. But I cannot love a man who loves a people who value kin and religion over merit.. That is why I call you an Aboooki lover as an insult and mean it.. Now fuock off you are out of your depth with me.. |
gomojam:I know you love Abooki because you have your head up their arse.. What you are indulging in is called a strawman, suggesting I asserted something I never did. I never said Fulani or Hausa aren't human and I explicitly said I don't hate them. What I do hate is 'Ethnic Nepostism' which Hausa and Fulani engage in. This can be observed across the majority of their population and can be keenly observed in Buhari's political appointments and voting behaviour in the North. It is anti meritocratic and has caused the malaise we see in this country today. Hence why I did say I don't hate them, but I don't trust them as a people based on their observed behaviours.. Perhaps you are too stupid to understand the nuance of my line of argument. If you are as I initially asked kindly and later abruptly. Stop Fuocking mentioning my name. You can keep trying to smear me as some tribalist, but I am very clear about my reasoning and logic. This is why you keep responding so you can say you just hate Fulani etc.. It won't work Abooki lover, so Fuock off... ![]() |
So what will happen to those they killed?
- while the rest of the continent tried to sell out. Next SA and Algeria must oust Morocco
