It pains me to realise at the long run that rechristening this man as "Lie" is not apt. Something worst than that would have been more appropriate.

What he said further confirms that there is no coordination in this government. It is a government in disarray with the functionaries doing their things on solo levels.

one would have expected a minister of information to have consulted with his colleagues in the ministries of agriculture, finance, foreign affairs etc before coming to the public to make wild and embarassing statements.

If the government is genuinely committed to the rice revolution, there should have been diplomatic talks and agreements with our neighbours for support by patronising our rice.

The NCS should have been better equipped and mobilised to checkmate smuggling.

But no, it seems this minister is the Mrknowitall of this government, he can dabble into the affairs of any ministry, spew rubbishes, display ignorance and the presidency or at least his principal will egg him on.

The main gist in this statement is the bit that he is planning a media campaign to encourage consumption of locally grown rice. So, another money laundering venture is in the offing. I hope that one day the man would be questionned about the effectiveness of these media campaigns he executed in the last few years. How much were the budget, how were they spent and to what effect.

I hate this kind mumu talk. it is only in Nigeria that a musician must write and if possible produce his or her own songs. for fvcksake song writing is a very good profession in a developed country. Neyo and others have written more songs for other artist than they sing. Una too mumu sef.

Songwriting and Artistry are 2 different ballgame. The earlier we realized that fact here, the better for us all.

Even the great Michael Jackson was never a good songwriter. Songs in his Thriller album which is still the best selling album of all time, were written by another person (Rod Temperton) likewise most of his other hit songs.

Its same story will most of the big acts the world over.

But this aside, what could be the objective of the op? Is there any copyright issue around any of Davido'song he reviewed? Is there any musical law or theory that says you must write your songs before u could become acclaimed? Has the op taken his time to study the subject matter before running to town exposing his pseud knowledge?

Think now more than ever, Nigerian youths need to be very articulate, well-read and cosmopolitan. They should shy away from displaying a pathological PHD (Pull Him Down) Syndrome.

President Buhari, that's a good decision but I hope you be able to provide funds that will take care of this gun injury persons. Hospital is not ran by Ghost. In developed countries health sector is well funded but here,lol we don't even have MRI or CT scan and sometimes our X-ray machine is faulty. Please you can't make a Law and will not have fund to sustain it. Nigerian hospitals are underfunded. Even we don't have enough staff. It will be very funny episode if a gunshot injury patient arrives the Hospital and the doctor will say no available material to treat them at Accident and Emergency. Blood Banks don't even have enough Blood self, so the government has a huge role to play on this. If these things are not kept in place and you bring in a gunshot injury patient will be dead before we know what's going on. So Mr PMB kindly fund the hospital if you truly want this your policy to hold or else we Doctor's won't spend our own kobo for something that does not concern us. We still have patients in the ward who needs money for some important procedure. Now you want to put fire on our neck hell no Mr PMB.

No Sir u got it wrong, the health sector needs a constructive reform or is it overhaul no doubt but u can't say until it's done, if ever it will, victims of gunshots be allowed to die. Haba Uncle Doctor, is that consistent with d Hippocratic Oath?

This is a laudable step by d government and should be commended by all rational persons, then, we can take up d next challenge. Thats d reasonable way to go.
