NBA is feeding fat on the blood of Nigerians but it is time to say no to corrupt judiciary and NBA. Cases go on and on without conviction because of our corrupt judges who have turned their house into Bank would not allow fair and speedy trial.
1. NBA did nothing as cases of Governors who stole their states fund thereby destroying key government infrastructure, education, health etc. NBA instead defended the corrupt governors and judiciary stalled the cases.
2. Key leadership of NBA (past President Daudu) are the ones defending Sambo Dasuki who distributed funds meant to defend innocent Nigerians including the Chibok Girls.
3. Our courts have been turned into a horrific corruption institution in which no one who went there to seek for justice would like to return there and our almighty NBA turn a blind eye.
4. Now that corruption funds traced to four judges leading to search of their houses and arrest. Our NBA is again as consistent as they are met and are threatening government.

When would our men and women in black be patriotic to work for the nation. Our PMB wanted their support and have allocated more than 50% ministerial portfolios to lawyers, have attended their conferences, have begged to help him in fighting corruption, yet nothing has change. Nigerians should stand up against NBA and corrupt judiciary. Let us first start by condemning the NBA. We want to hear the voices of Patriotic Lawyvers in Nigeria as their NBA turned into corruption institution.

Sir, Its a waste of time arguing with some pathological mofos. If only some of us could spend half the time used propagating hatred, bigotry, spewing rubbish, exhibitting unpardonable ignorances online to research into matters online and then make informed opinion before joining online frays, ours will be a better society.

The DSS acted within the ambit of the law and its mandate and this should be clear to all except a ''charge and bail'' few that hijacked the body of a very noble profession.

Where a suspect is resisting entry into any property, abode, villa etc, the DSS has the right to apply reasonable force to gain entry.

PoliticsRe: Afe Babalola To Buhari: 'Change Begins With Me’ Is Not Lai’s Initiative by nokingasgod: 12:38am On Oct 05, 2016
Much ado about a concept.

The rate at which some of us join sides on issues on which we lack understanding and knowledge of, is alarming and expectedly so, the over-the years-decadence in our educational sector is now so much evident and its nauseating. Reading and comprehending a simple letter is now rocket science to most of us.....

First the headline of the op was very wrong. Reading through Akin Fadeyi's letter to the president, he never claimed to own the line ''Change Begins with me''. In fact he admitted that the Minister of Information told him he was ''ruminating on a ‘Change Begins with Me’ idea of his own'' which he advised him, Akin Fadeyi to reflect in his concept ''Not In My Country''. This corroborated the Minister's claim that he had been working with consultants on the concept ''Change Begins With Me'' long before his meeting with Akin Fadeyi in December 2015.

The question should have been, was the minister lying about working on a Change Begins with Me’ idea with cosultants long before meeting Mr Fadeyi in December 2015?. This i think should be starting point.

In my own view, the two concepts, Change Begins With Me and Not in My Country (Corruption) are similar and people in the creative industry knows that inspiration are drawn from the same well. In other words, there is only one source of power - creative etal. Give these two concepts to different creative groups for execution, the outcomes will be similar. How do you want to interpret these concepts in Nigeria of 2015 and you will not touch issues like corruption, attitudes etc which are quite expansive and wide and i dont think anybody can lay claim to the copyright on such.

Mr Fadeyi was wrong, what was launched on September 8, 2016 was not just ''drama skits'' but a broad-based mass mobiisation campaign. What was shown on the day of launch were part of the advertising leg of the campaign and since Mr Fadeyi's execution was in the area of drama which i think is a veritable medium of social communication, they are still very much relevant in the scheme. This, i think should be his position rather than the copyright route which i doubt can stand in any court of law.

But then, the Minister should have treated Mr Fadeyi with respect and decency. According to Mr Fadeyi, after the minister encouraged him to fine-tune, modify, edit his concept, along the line, the minister became incommunicado. This i think is disrespectful. The Minister at least should have communicated his intention to discontinue or otherwise with Mr Fadeyi. If he's not going to be compesated for his efforts, at least he deserves commendation and assurance of future patronage.

Now back to d question ''was the minister lying about working on a Change Begins with Me’ idea with cosultants long before meeting Mr Fadeyi in December 2015?. The answer is a capital NO

I was privileged to know about the project ''Change Begins With Me'' shortly before or after the Minister was sworn-into office which was severalmonths before December 2015.

As a graduate of International Studies and Diplomacy from the Great UNIBEN, I have the authority to tell everyone that the diplomat cannot be prosecuted in Nigeria. He has immunity, our diplomat can do same even in the USA and nothing will happen. The immunity that the guy enjoya is derived from the president of the sending country, in this case his president.

I don't want to go into details but the bottom line is that the Traffic Warden was not properly trained about diplomatic practices in his police training hence we was wasting his time with him. There is nothing our government can do about it. As a matter of international practice, diplomats' bags, residents and domestic staff are immuned, they don't pay tax too. There is another one known as Privileges aside the immunity they enjoy.

That is all I can say for now for the purpose of education so that some of should not be fooling ourselves with certain comments.
Thanks about this and let's hope those who didnt know before now can learn a thing or two about diplomatic privileges and stop exhibiting flagrant ignorance at this time and age.

Its even a big shame and national embarassment that the traffic warden attempted to harass the man which could lead to a serious diplomatic row. The best he could have done was to gather and document his evidence of the breach and forward, via NPF authority to the head of the mission where the driver originate from.

Truth is, if that was a diplomatic vehicle, there is nothing any Nigerian security agent could do to accost him. It is the law.

I want to believe that all APC members are saint. Whether u like it or not, EFCC is a political tool against the opposition.
The EFCC should take all the accused to court and prove that the stole money. You gave somebody money for political assignment and he used the money for the assignment...finally finally Some sort of political tool came up and said u stole money. Explain to me how the one who received money for an assignment is the one who stole the money.

If we conclude that they stole money, that means all the persons that received any amount from that money; artisans, market women, media, the general public, etc also stole money.

EFCC should just charge them to court that's all.
Don't be mistaken, i'm not an APC apologist and neither am i a politician. I am a critical stakeholder in this project because this is the only country i can call my own and i am already trapped in here any way.

Majority of our leaders/politicians across the parties are ''ungodly thieves'' and no man in his right senses will have sympathy for them. If we all agree that we must put an end to the free-falls, then, we must support the present war against corruption which to me has not even started because we are only talking about one instance - armsgate with mind-boggling revelations.

And of course, there must be a starting point which in this instance is the enquiry into how we spent the funds meant to procure arms against insurgency. How can that be termed as war against opposition? Tell me one person in APC linked to the armsgate that was not quizzed by the EFCC.

Its common knowledge that in law, If you received a stolen good you will be found culpable.

Then EFCC should better take them to court and stop all these media trial.
You can as well send a memo to media all over the world not to report any of those events. Better still, you can approach a competent court of law to get an injunction restraining media wolrd-wide from reporting such. And even, you can table your case before the United Nations stating why the media should be censored.

Ignorance is not only a disease, its a sin!
EducationRe: Six Things That Makes Nigeria Universities Better Than Polytechnics by nokingasgod: 9:52am On Jul 16, 2016
habby51:
Dis are the factors that makes Universities rated than Polytechnics;

1. CURRICULUM: University education in Nigeria, like in other developing countries, is to produce graduates grounded in generic skill and, quality education for the nation's economic development. University curriculum therefore, reflect research about what works, as opposed to what is popular today or tomorrow. This
implies that the curriculum content enable students to attain the
society's expectations, and perhaps most importantly, their needs.

2. STRUCTURES: Most Nigerian Universities have outstanding structures and academic environment more than that of Polytechnic. Most of Polytechnics structures are not up to standard, even most of the buildings in some polytechnics are of old structures.

3. COURSES: Universities run more courses than Polytechnics. Most top professional courses are studied at university level e.g Medicine, Law, Architecture, etc. Though we have Legal studies in replacement of law, SLT in replacement of medicine in Polytechnics, and Architect. But are not well recognise.

4. MODE OF DRESSING: Corporate dressing can be seen in most Nigerian Universities, especially the so called private Universities. Also most of courses run by university has there code of dressing e.g Medicine, Engineering, and Law.

5. ACADEMIC PERFORMERS: Most outstanding students can be seen at Universities, compared to Polytechnics. Most of the Universities are more strict. You hardly bribe lecturers cause many are Professors so, is what u write that you get in most cases. Unlike polytechnics where you easy bribe lecturers to have distinction or upper credit.

6. ACADEMIC STAFFS: Least you can see in Universities as a lecturer is a Doctor (Ph .D). A masters holding can only be of an assistant. Most Seniors lecturers are Professors. While the highest you can get in a polytechnics is a Doctor ( Rector), others are MSc, B. sc or HND holder
Childish, irrational, un-empirical. Like stuffs u hear at Keggites Shrine and SUB

PoliticsInteresting Write Up By Reuben Abati Over Melaye’s Assault by nokingasgod(op): 5:31pm On Jul 15, 2016
Culled from Oliviagist.com

“Have you been to Bourdillon? Or rather I should ask when are you going to Bourdillon?”

“What’s happening?”

“I hear people are paying solidarity visits to the Tinubus to express their dismay over Senator Dino Melaye’s assault on Senator Remi Tinubu, wife of the APC National Leader.”

“Assault?”

“That is precisely what it is. Assault. Sexual harassment. Abuse. Threat of rape. Definite expression of intent to commit adultery and impregnate another man’s wife.”

“I read that story. I still find it difficult to believe that a distinguished Senator would descend to such level. If that is the quality of reasoning among Nigerian parliamentarians, then the country is in more serious trouble than anyone could ever imagine.”

“Dino Melaye has not denied the statements he allegedly made. And the Tinubu camp is on an offensive against him. I read a response saying if he carries out his threat, things will happen.

“Things should not only happen, I think every member of the National Assembly should undergo a psychiatrist test and a drug test.”

“Ha. You can’t conscript the entire National Assembly to undertake tests that are not required by law. And you can’t jump from something one Senator did to cast innuendo on other lawmakers.”

“You call it innuendo? You try. From the look of things, male members of this National Assembly are convinced that women are sex objects. Is this not the same National Assembly where male chauvinists resisted a Gender Equality Bill? Is it not in this same parliament that supposedly distinguished men stood up to defend marriage to the girl-child? And now you have a Senator threatening to beat up a female colleague, rape, impregnate her and that nothing will happen.”

“The man practically admitted his love of violence and lack of respect for a colleague. That is too much of an insult to the Madam and her husband.”

“I read on Sahara Reporters that he eventually changed his mind, though”

“How?”

“Sahara Reporters says he later told Mrs Tinubu, “F…. you.”

“F…. another man’s wife?”

“Yes. But he said worse. He reportedly said he would not even demean himself by impregnating a Bonga fish, and that he would prefer a robust woman like Senator Stella Oduah.”

“What? The scallywag wants to hold so-so-so-me-thing!”

“He has not denied saying so.”

“But are you sure there isn’t a Nollywood wing in that Senate and some of the members are rehearsing a block-buster home video?”

“Which home video? The altercation took place at a closed-door meeting of the Senate. Mrs Tinubu’s offence was that he criticized Senator Melaye’s contribution to a discussion, and the fellow became enraged. He had to be physically restrained from actually beating up the woman, and proceeding there and then to rape and impregnate her with immediate effect”

“Chei. I wish I were in Asiwaju Tinubu’s shoes…”

“What will you do? You will invite Melaye to a physical combat? Have you seen the guy’s biceps and how heavily built he is? This is not a matter you settle with muscles.”

“Meaning?”

“There are sub-texts. Dino is probably fighting proxy war. His target may not be the woman but her husband. Besides, the guy seems to have quite a reputation for beating up women. Ask his first wife. Ask his second wife.”

“Mrs Tinubu should sue him”

“He will claim privilege. Every communication on the floor of the Senate is privileged.”

“What privilege? That privilege should not cover anyone threatening violence, rape, assault and adultery. What if he was not restrained, he would have slapped Mrs. Tinubu or what? I also find the silence of the Senate leadership in this matter terribly offensive. By now, Senator Melaye should be standing before a Disciplinary Committee.”

“But again, is this whole story possible?”

“What will the Tinubus gain from lying against Melaye?”

“You know, for some reason, I sympathize with that fellow, you know. What he has done, previously and right now, is very much like riding the Tiger. “

“Certain kinds of persons should not be in the National assembly to start with. Is it not from this same National Assembly that the US Embassy named and shamed some lawmakers who went to the US on a sponsored trip to solicit for sex, with one of them almost raping a hotel attendant? This thing called democracy must be protected from women abusers, rapists and adulterers.”

“If this was in the US or the UK, by now, there will be protesters on the streets calling for Melaye’s head and seat. His constituents would have initiated the process of his recall.”

“Have you also not noticed that other female members of the National assembly have not spoken up. They are dangerously silent.”

“That is stupid. Do they want to be beaten up? Raped? And impregnated by violent colleagues? Are they happy that a male colleague is threatening to rape and impregnate?”.

“To call another man’s wife, Bonga fish. And openly say you prefer that other female Senator as a sex object. That Melaye needs help, I must say. Where is he from?”

“Right now, I wonder what Dino Melaye would have called Theresa May, the new Prime Minister of Britain”

“Do not go there. He wouldn’t dare. The kind of nonsense behaviour that is allowed in the name of lawmaking and leadership in this country is impossible in civilized places. Can you ever imagine any parliamentarian in the UK openly abusing a female colleague and threatening to rape and impregnate her?”

“All these our leaders, they love titles but not the responsibility that comes with high office. Just look at how the British have managed a major transition in the life of their nation, it was all done so decently.”

“Impressive. Classically British. The country is more important than every one.”

“David Cameron leads the country out of the European Union against his personal wish and to economic disaster. He takes responsibility and he steps aside.”

“In Nigeria, he would have stayed on. After all, there was no election. Nobody resigns here. Public office for the average Nigerian is about stomach infrastructure.”

“But in the UK, it is about service. Did you read Cameron’s valedictory speech? Solid. No malice. No regrets. The other week, he was down with rotten eggs on his face, but two days ago, he left office with his head held high. The British system works. When things go wrong, there are ways of dealing with them.”

“We shouldn’t compare apples and oranges. We can talk about lessons, but not to expect the same standards.”

“Look at Theresa May, the new PM. The very day she assumed office, she named her cabinet. She is prepared. She is ready. She is competent. That is how to hit the ground running. Here, State Governors spend a whole year struggling to appoint ordinary commissioners.”

“State Governors? What of…?”

“Meshionu… Alakoba somebody. It is not from my mouth that you will hear about physical, social psychological and existential violence in high places. But look again at what Theresa May has done. She has appointed into her cabinet, the Brexiteers, the same people who wanted Britain out of the EU. She has put together a cabinet that accommodates her rivals to show that she nurses no malice against anyone. Can you imagine Boris Johnson becoming Foreign Secretary?”

“I don’t support that.”

“Sorry, your opinion does not matter. Ko mata, ko muyo.”

“Boris Johnson is an isolationist. And he doesn’t like Africans.”

“He loves Britain, his country. That is what matters.”

“I wish the new Prime Minister well, then. History made. She has Mrs Margaret Thatcher’s record to contend with.”

“No. You miss the point. She will not be judged on the grounds of gender.”

“Don’t fool yourself about that very point. Even in the UK, gender is an issue. Nobody talked about Cameron’s shoes or navy suits, for example. But since Theresa May arrived, there has been so much obsession with her clothes and leopard print kitten heels.”

“But she is lucky she doesn’t have a Dino Melaye around her.”

“Impossible.”

“And nobody will ever threaten to beat her up, rape her or impregnate her.”

“Why are you DinoMelaye-ing Theresa May? Can you stop? This is precisely why a Boris Johnson thinks you people should be kept out of Britain, so that in the long run you don’t pollute the decent space the British created over the centuries.”

“You know, to tell the truth, sometimes I wonder how foreigners manage to relate with us. Can you imagine the President of Nigeria going on a foreign trip, with a Senator who was once accused of rape, or a Governor who was once a crook? The civilized oyinbo people will shake hands, shake their heads also, but privately among themselves, they would wonder if it would not have been better if they didn’t colonize Africa at all.”

“And leave us in our natural, pre-colonial states, eh?. I can’t laugh oh. May be if they didn’t, by now you will be a dreadful dibia in a forest, with 100 wives.”

“And Dino?”

“That one? He will be a deep forest hunter, beating up people’s wives, raping and impregnating them and threatening that nothing will happen to him.”

“Only in Nigeria.”

“ I guess there is a lot more that you can talk about in that manner.”

“Like Abia”

“Really messy out there.”

“A court of law with competent jurisdiction rules, INEC complies, but the politicians insist they have a different opinion, and the entire system gets sucked into a crisis.”

“Don’t go there. You get that kind of situation when everything in a country is so uncertain.”

“But if we lose the courts, what do we have left?”

“We lost the courts already, even the lawyers.”

“In Abia or Abuja?”

“You answer the question yourself”.

“And the video that the US Mission was going to show at the House of Representatives? Did that happen?

“Which video? It didn’t happen.”

“Never mind. The British have just given us an answer. A country must work for its people. That is why Theresa May says her mission is to make Britain work for every one.”

“Nigeria must also work for every one, not a privileged few.”

“Yes. Yes. Yes. We should add that line to the National Anthem.”

“Hmm. Seriously.”

Some of us have passed through that route before and its not a big thing. It is time to move on and you simply have to move on. It's a natural phenomenon and it may even be you at some point wanting a breather.

But what i found disgusting is the idea of lamenting over what you did for her while it lasted forgetting you too must have benefited from her, at least sexually. So Bro, stop whining and be a man.

It's also disgusting to hear you misappropriated money meant for your academic work and used it on frivolities for her sake. Well, think that's not love but stupidity. To compound the issues, she progressed into HND level while you Mr Lover Man is still wielding ND and still hustling. It would have been a different story if you had ''hit it big'', but my friend, still hustling with ND certificate and you expect her to stick by you.....Please wake up.

Going forward, learn to be a man, a real sensible and smart guy. Choose your girl carefully, she's your friend and not your wife yet, so learn to know the limit of your responsibility towards her if any. You don't take advantage of a vulnerable lady, spend few coins on her, enjoy free ''entry'' and free ''exit'' for several years and expect her not to be attracted towards a juicier offer.

Lastly, as it is in most cases, you may end up being the winner cos there's the likelihood of her coming back to you if not now then later. The story does not usually end that way, there's always a comeback, even after marriage. But, it is left to you to shake yourself free, face your studies or hustle harder so that when the time comes she wouldn't have to see you and say thank God i left him.

both he himself "mohammed" & his followers, hence they won't make heaven.

Sura 46:9
"I am not something original among the messengers, NOR DO I KNOW WHAT WILL BE DONE WITH ME OR WITH YOU(MUSLIMS)."

If he had died as a Christian he would have the promise of salvation that moahmmed did not have nor his following muslims

Mark 16:16 (KJV)
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Jesus went to heaven in the view of people, unlike mohammed that is dead and buried

Act 1
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven
Unnecessary rubbish!

Nigerians are primitive
Not only primitive but ''primitively'' ignorant. I have never heard, read or seen where wizards fly about in human form except in Nigeria...

You are even lucky, if it was me, i will order your sack because it was obvious you are not man enough and you could not manage a very simple assignment without giving excuses.

You said she was drunk and you left her in bed despite her wanting you to stay the night. You were not drunk but also did not complete your assignment, what then made you overslept and reported late for work when she that danced and got drunk was disciplined enough to be at her desk at the right time.

Tokety7:

The change here in this instance is there was nothing like money for budget. Remember Fabian Osuji and Wabara budget debacle when killer party was in charge? Since this democratic dispensation, executives have been purchasing budgets estimates from NASS. It was attempted but it failed in this dispensation. No one purchased anything. There lies ur change.
Very apt. In addition, this president will not sign any document without scrutiny thereby putting paid to padi paid, chop I chop arrangement which has been our bane over the years.

FULL TEXT OF THE REMARKS BY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI AT THE SIGNING OF THE 2016 APPROPRIATION BILL INTO LAW ON FRIDAY, MAY 6, 2016, ABUJA

1.It gives me great pleasure today to sign the first full-year budget of this administration into law. I thank the leadership of the National Assembly, in particular, the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and indeed all members of the National Assembly for their cooperation in making this a reality.

2.The budget is intended to signpost a renewal of our commitment to restoring the budget as a serious article of faith with the Nigerian people. This Administration is committed to ensuring that henceforth the annual appropriation bill is presented to the National Assembly in time for the passage of the Act before the beginning of the fiscal year.

3.Through the 2016 budget, aptly titled "Budget of Change’’, the government seeks to fulfill its own side of the social contract. The Budget I have signed into law provides for aggregate expenditures of N6.06trn. Further details of the approved budget, as well as our Strategic Implementation Plan for the 2016 budget, will be provided by the Honourable Minister of Budget and National Planning.

4.I shall be speaking in more details about the Budget, its implementation and the over-all national economic and social policies of the Government in my address on May 29th, God willing.

5.In designing the 2016 budget, we made a deliberate choice to pursue an expansionary fiscal policy despite the huge decline in government revenues from crude oil exports. This is why we decided to enlarge the budget deficit at this time, to be financed principally through foreign and domestic borrowings. All borrowings will however be applied towards growth-enhancing capital expenditures.

6. The signing of the budget today will trigger concerted efforts to reflate the Nigerian economy, a key element of which is an immediate injection of N350bn into the economy by way of capital projects. To illustrate our renewed commitment to infrastructural development, the 2016 budget allocates over N200bn to road construction as against a paltry N18bn allocated for same purpose in the 2015 budget.

7.Despite the current difficulties we will work extra-hard to achieve our revenue projections. Our revenue generating agencies are coming under better management and are being re-oriented. The implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) is expected to contribute significantly to improving transparency over government revenues.

8.Our determined fight against corruption is resulting in improvements in the quality of public expenditure. The work of the Efficiency Unit, as well as other public financial management initiatives, are also contributing in this regard. The continuing efforts to reduce recurrent expenditures should hopefully free up more funds for capital expenditure in 2017 and beyond.

9.As I said in my New Year message, living in State House does not in any way alienate me from your daily struggles. I read the newspapers and listen to the TV and radio news. I hear your cries. I share your pains.

10.We are experiencing probably the toughest economic times in the history of our Nation. I want to commend the sacrifice, resilience and toughness of all Nigerians young and old who have despite the hardships continued to have hope and confidence of a great future for Nigerians. But permit me to say that this government is also like none other. We are absolutely committed to changing the structure of the Nigerian economy once and for all.

11.We are working night and day to diversify the economy so that we never again have to rely on one commodity to survive as a country. So that we can produce the food we eat, make our own textiles, produce most of the things we use. We intend to create the environment for our young peoples to be able to innovate and create jobs through technology.

12. I cannot promise you that this will be an easy journey, but in the interest of so much and so many we must tread this difficult path. I can assure you that this government you have freely elected will work with honesty and dedication, day and night to ensure that our country prospers and that the prosperity benefits all Nigerians. God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.
