FamilyHow To Teach Your Child The Values Of Money. by nomabeeee(op): 4:19am On Sep 26, 2014
;DThere is no tree that produces money(in my mother's voice).u work to get money and it should be spent wisely.this is the knowlege we have and it is also very imprtant to pass that knowledge on to our children.u dnt have to wait till they grow up.. Naturally a kid will always be a kid ..children love goodies..they always want to spend that litle moneybeen given to them on sweets,biscuits,etc..nobody is exceptional I actually did it too..I loved lollie swts..can even kill for it back then..mum actually beat me up sometime because of it..anyways back to the business of the day..I thought about a simple and careful way of tteaching a child the values of money and then I came up with this..
If ur child keeps getting monetary favours)all u need do is that for everytime money is been given to the child by a visitor.,collect the money from the child..yes this is the part our parents love the most*smiles* I actually meant collect the money but don't ever use it for ur own affairs.no matter how litle the money is,invest the money on something visible the child can see..it could be a book,or something else..u know ur child better and what his\her interest re.u can start by saying;son/daughter ,this is what I got for you with that money I collected from u or with the money uncle dz or aunt dt gave u.this way u re simply teaching the child the values of money and indirectly also teaching the child how to save..pls pls pls dnt ever let ur child spend money on buscuits, sweets, chocolates, chewing gum, lolly pops..I even suggest u rather have those things at home if ur child likes taking them..thank me later..
FamilyRe: Teaching Our Children The Sense Of Gratitude. by nomabeeee(f): 3:11am On Sep 26, 2014
greatgod2012: Thank you for this.
Leading by example is the best way to train a child. It all begins with us, the parents. May God give us wisdom to do things rightly.
u can say that again it begins wt us d parents..I alrdy told myself..dt I was not going to teach my kids a lazy way of talking yes I call it lazy..its beautiful wn u ask a child..lizzy hw r u and she replies.am fine, thank u.when she does something wrong..she says mum am truly sory..dts teaching her to take responsibilities for her actions..wn she wants to say or have sometin she says..pls mum can I hv...it makes d child look classy..umm and lizzy that is my future baby's name..lol

That is why we are not progressing in this country. Looking at a solution without understanding the problem.

The man tattooing the eye has a BLIND eye. The eye is not functional.

ALL DIZ RELATIONSHIP TIPs.....YET we meet kata-kata..
MOST of our PARENTS were not THOUGHT DIZ TINS ..yet dey LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
RELATIONSHIP I SAY, IS NOW CHEVRON JOB...or permanent JOB.
DESPITE all diz infiltrations from MODERN DAY CHURCHES , RELATIONSHIPS DOCTORS and etc...
we still WALLOW in APATHY with each NEW RELATIONSHIP.
4ME , am just tired of all diz useless TIPS...
I just told my LADYFRIEND dat we need RELATIONSHIP LEAVE...this will enable us reason things and know how far we have faired as well as understand if we need to continue....because for me its just becoming NEEDLESS...
MOST times if we stay SOLELY as guys, we achieve more.
MOST THINGS,.i have achieved so far..were gotten when i stayed put and reasoned .
UPTILL dis moment i cant DEDUCE ROLES of most girl friends...
AM not saying MY LADY is evil but there are some times as a MAN ...u may need a BREAK to reason solely...
I DONT BLAME MEN WHO ARRANGE SEPARATE ROOM for their WIVES...

addictiv: Evening great engineers and O&G professionals. i am a fresh graduate of petroleum engineering and due for national service by november. my dilemma is that my folks what me to skip service and go for masters maybe a phd in the US and possibly settle down there, but am worried about the ripple effect that would have on my professional career suppose i return to Nigeria in future for an opening. i remember one certain time that the minister of petroleum almost lost her job because of an accusation from the national assembly that she didn't participate in the compulsory one year service. she countered it by providing proof in pictures and discharge certificate. please i would like to know my odds because i feel there are more opportunities for me here than in a foreign land plus i can fast track my career as a professional if i serve here. left for them i ll be shipped off tonight if it where possible, its that serious. advice needed here please
long talk..better go for service first then u can continue wt ur career wherever and however..dnt hv much reasons to give u..but this is the best I can say.

I weighed 70kg when i landed on the platform and was 74kg when i left. I still dream of the food, i ate 4 times a day, never missed tea breaks, snacks, indian food, turkish, persian delicacies etc.lord, my plate was always full.i spent more time in the shower enjoying the company of adjustable hot and cold shower/mini jac.which was very therapeutic. It was then i knew dstv had some real poorn channels, that was my fav.channel tongue. I had a white friend mr terry, funny guy.many good experiences.no time to sulk over the past.

EducationThe Rate At Which Non-academic Staff Demand Money From Students Is alarming by nomabeeee(op): 10:20am On Jul 09, 2014
Coughs..am a graduate of geography and planning in ***** university..dnt wna mention the name of my sch for security reasons..doing clearance was hell for me...gosh!not like I was owing the school.I had my receipts, files and documents complete but I spent a lot jst on non-academic staffs..any office I enter they either ask for money or ask u to buy them snacks and drink just for them to attend to you..and when u dnt do this things for them, they withhold ur file..the particular incident that got me angry and bittered was when I went to the administrative dpartment to collect my statement of result..the non-academic staff there(a woman)who was supposed to type and gv me my result askd me for money to do her own job o..I told her dt I ddnt hv money, she rplied that my transcript wil be on her table until I gt money for her..bc I needed dz result urgently,I had to borrow some money from a friend to gv to this woman..and can u imagine dt even after she finished typin my result she askd me to buy her drink..I askd her wat the drink was for.she rplied that the drink was for bearing the same name with her..my question remains;don't this non-academic staffs get paid for their job..why do they enjoy loothin money frm students?and please is this silly attitude of theirs same in other nigerian universities or jst in my school alone..reasonable answers...no foul words
