Its a Nigerian thing, we have this its not my own mentality. We have issues in this country honestly, sometimes I don't blame landlords who are harsh.

A landlord will make provision for bore hole and somehow pumping machine he fixed gets spoilt, the tenants will say they won't repair it. They are the ones that spoilt it oo.

I have seen a tenant that lives upstairs in a block of 4 flats saying she won't contribute her own share of the amount the cleaner sweeping/cleaning the floor of the compound collects simply because her flat is upstairs and thats its peeps in the flats below that should pay the cleaners.It took an intervention from another tenanat (who is also a landlord somewhere else) before she started contributing her share.I wonder where these people come from, does she fly directly to her flat.

Simple maintenance they won't do.
Some use houses as if they won't build theirs, I personally don't blame landlords sometimes.

Some landlords can also be terrible too, the house we lived in before we owned ours had a leaking roof, we told the landlord he said he would repair, and the leak was directly over a bed, after sometime we met him again and said he should let us repair it, since hes not yet ready and its inconveniencing us a lot and its rainy season he said he can't allow a tenant repair his roof. For more than a year he didn't repair it till we packed out. Its was so annoying.

Some tenants can also be very good too, that one will wish to continue having peeps like that.

Its just that it seems the good tenants have bad landlords and the good landlords mostly have bad tenants loool

I like your last sentence. The worst case scenero is when a bad landlord gets a terrible tenant. The entire inhabitants of the street would feel like packing out

Some people are funny. Tribune newspaper published the earlier report credited to Oby where they alleged she said Buhari is not fit to be President if he claims ignorance of the presence of those guys at the gate. The same Tribune apologises that she was not the one that said so. I don't see why they would do so if they were not in the wrong. Oby has every right to support or withdraw her support for any government at any point in time. Thank you jare. The write up says the emergency power for stimulating the economy originates from the Vice President's office, and has not been presented to the President's team. Lack of communication or proper streamlining of information in the presidency is a problem.

It is very likely that a new party would be formed before 2018. The fact that PDP is in disarray, and APC has been receiving much flak over the state of the economy and security. There is this compound of eight flats beside where I live and people occupying the flats are all adults.

Guys, you can't believe that for the past two weeks their pumping machine had been pumping water continuously stopping only when the light is ceased( I'm not exaggerating) . And here we enjoy constant electricity at least 20 hours per day.
They come out of their flats, see the compound filled with water and they don't care.
The drainage is filled with their refuse and water and it's pretty annoying.

What kind of life is that? The thing just dey pepper me! Just because they don't own the house!
As I'm typing now, water is running continuously!

Probably the gateman was the one in charge of the water department also. Some tenants are like that really. In some cases, the pumping machine get bad and some tenants will feel unconcerned about it, even when others are making efforts to do something about it.
