I'm confused when I read here about people complaining about RAM battery management. I've been using the Camon X Pro since May and it's easily the best phone I've ever used (and I've used iPhones and Samsungs).

I've not had any issues with the RAM. The battery is great and charges very fast. I'm confused that people are denying the fast charging. The only thing that disappointed me with the phone is that my Spectranet sim LTE doesn't work on it, but it worked on my older CX Pro.

That's not too much of a hazzle though as every other network works. I didn't even bother to insert an SD card as 64GB is handy enough, especially considering that my movies and music are mostly streamed and not downloaded. I had to remove the Hi Launcher and installed Nova, installed an icon pack too and my phone hasn't looked better.

Sometimes I feel some of these negative reviews come from agents of other phone brands. Take it from those of us that are actually using the phone. This phone is great.

So even with my screenshots and all I'm an agent of other brands? What do you really mean by "other brands"? Tecno and Infinix are same Transsion Holdings, so....?

Also, you use the 4gb ram version so the extra 1gb of ram helps it perform better, considering it contains the same software as the camon x.

And yes, the phone charges really really fast. I think even though it didn't come with flash charge, it can comfortably compete with the other phones' charging speed. I love the speed of charge, literally...

I also use Nova Launcher with Flight lite icon pack and my phone is beautiful.

Please, be constructive in your argument and don't call names. There's a difference between 3gb ram and 4gb ram.

What was running that wasn't supposed to be running?

Primarily I think there was so many cached processes. I had to stop them, then disable them from running in the background under battery usage. And they seem to be respecting themselves for now.. Lol

I went into developer settings and clicked on running processes, then closed them. Also, I went thru my apps one by one and entered the battery usage, then disabled background running.

Here's the result... It's massively improved

Slightly.

I think the ram optimization is just that way. Poor.

I'm thinking of rooting it and removing some bloatware that will effectively reduce things eating into the ram.

However, I'm also waiting also... They've always sent system updates so I just hope the next update will solve the problem.

Just there. At least I can open 3-5 apps. How about you?

It's all about your location. I use mtn and airtel and I get speeds of 2mb per second using the night plan. Tho I've dumped mtn since they reviewed prices...

Just take 47k to the market and get the pro of 2/16gb. It has 4g LTE. Or you can buy the one of 41k that doesn't have 4g.

it doesnt o. Infact i bought the glo 4g lte sim only to be disappointed. Its just H+ that you get. Had to switch back to mtn jeje.

I don't use glo but a friend does and it works. Maybe the lte is not available in your area.

My ram management became better. To reset just backup your apps first to avoid losing important files.

I have tried cutting and pasting on file manager but it is not working for videos

Install the latest system update. That issue was solved there.
