Hi guys. I have never been more confused in my life than today.
I lost my contract job on the 28th of March 2018. Since then, I have been networking and applying for jobs online too.

Fast forward to today, I got offer letter from a private firm I did interview with 2 weeks ago and I was asked to resume tomorrow, May 7th. Now today again, a federal university I submitted my CV with (man know man thing) contacted me that my name is on the latest employment list released. Both jobs have almost the same salary. I'm confused like kilode! I don't know what to do. My mind is tilting towards the federal job but it will require me to relocate while the private firm's own is located in my state of residence.

I have never been this confused in my life. The private firm's employment offer demands two weeks notice before I resign or they will hold my guarantors. Please advise dispassionately. I have been looking for work for nearly two months. Now, it's coming as a confusion to me.

Mods please move this to front page. I need to think properly. Opportunities like this don't come twice

My advice : go for the Federal job.
Reasons: it is highly secured, u rise fairly quickly, u get to network and av much tym to yourself.

FYI it got nothing to do with what you have done.. it's just that u guys were not compatible... it's like any other breakup... but the difference is that he will accept everything as his fault..he will highlight your wonderful qualities... then blame himself for not connecting with u..in fact blame everything that was not going well in your relationship on himself....

In The University of Ibadan, it takes 18 months to complete a Masters degree program.
The registration starts around June each year.

No... My contract expires with them since last year, so I can't give accurate information. But generally you are supposed to finish your Training School before April ending. If I can guess correctly, the delay may due to some logistics and approvals. This should be concluded between this week and next two weeks, that's three weeks to this time.

I also learnt there has been a change in the recruitment team leaderships. This may lead to change in content and structures of this year Training School.
So you guys should just relax, hopefully before the end of first week in February, you will either have started your Training School or receive notifications about it.

You can't find or you have lost your original certificate? Anyway, first thing first, go to court and do affidavit. And you can then visit nereast Police Station to get Police Report before going to your school to get a certified true copy of your certificate. I hope you have photocopy/scanned copy of the said certificate readily available.

But for the purpose of this recruitment, statement of results are acceptable. If the certificate is O' level, just go online and print a coloured copy of your result. If getting police report and going to the school is practically impossible considering the time, you can try your luck by presenting the photocopy of your certificate and affidavit as to lost of original certificate.
