last night was amazing @ a bubbling club in Abuja with my boss. she is tall robust and in her late 20s. I meet her at a social event where we shared contact and she help me get a job in her office. she not only help me get a job but back dated my employment letter and I resumed promoted.
all her kind gestures towards me made me develop a sense of indebtedness to her but have never been able to pay her back except that I make sure she never runs out of data on her phone.
on Thursday she I received a pm from her asking me if I had plans for Friday night. truth be told I don't have anyplans so I told her no. she said she would pick me up later at night.
I knew she needed a companion to one of her many events and don't want her friends to know she is a loner. so I saw it as an opportunity to give back to her

about 4pm as we approach close of business on Friday , a general mail was sent that we would be coming for Saturday duties and default is equal to suspension.

after the mail I felt we probably would not be going out anymore since there is work. she came by my office and drop her car key and told me to pick her and her friends up by 10pm. she picked a drop and left.
at exactly 10:05 I reached her estate and picked her and 2 of her friends as we head to wuse 2.
we went to have dinner and she slipped her ATM in my hand and whispered the code in my ears.

I paid like a boss and we went straight to wine bar not far away. we ordered drinks and she held on to me as if we have been dating for years. she occasionally kiss me on the cheek. I was being careful not to drink too much because am driving and I don't drink much. so I mixed my jack Daniels with coke. thereafter we drove to a club nearby. their blood alcohol was already above the legal limit. the three of them danced like crazy I just stayed calm forming boss in the VIP section. whenever her two friends come close to me, she jumps in the middle like she was jealous. we danced till about two am when I decided its time to go. they were so drunk if not for the help of the security who helped me bring them inside the car, I drove back into the estate and her two friends came down but she was fast asleep. I carried her inside and lay her gently on the bed. she held me and whisper in my ears stay with me tonight. I knew she was drunk and not in her right mind. I tuck her in her bed
spread and kissed her good night and dropped her car key beside her to enable her get to the office in the morning.

I took a drop home and sleep off immediately. I woke up 7:30 and was running late. I quickly prepared for work but got to the office 30min late. everyone was on time except me. I logged into my mail and saw a query from my boss.
at first I felt it was a kind of cover up eye service but she copies disciplinary and regional head in the mail that unroll 10am to reply why I came late and should not be suspended .
I immediately sent her PMs but she replied none. so I replied the query saying I took my sick sister to a vigil for healing and I over slept after the vigil.
she sent another mail instantly that she recommend that I be suspended for a week without pay with immediate effect.

seriously I was confused because I can't believe it was the same person I spent whole lastnight with.
I picked my bag and just went back home wondering if I was dreaming.

I like the boss so well... He separates work from fun nd necessities from frivolities. Even if I'm dating a junior staff, I wil still serve her qerry if she fumbles. Work nd off-work deals shld b treated differentially

One of the best forums to be part of is the Nairaland forum. I joined this forum last year and I have never regretted doing so.
Earlier in January, I saw this advert placement on the Job's section and I didn't think twice before I submitted my CV there. I waited for their call but didn't get any so I relaxed my mind. Countdown to April 12th, I got a message inviting me for a test at their office. We were like too many that did the test. After series of tests, three people were eventually recruited and I'm happy I'm one of them. The pay is good way better than what I was earning before. I am a testimony to the good things happening on this forum.
Advice: Don't play with whatever you see on this forum, it may be the key that open doors.
I pray that everyone who is also looking for a better offer will get it in Jesus name. Thank you Nairaland.

Where did this wife of Caine come from?
Did God created other people after Adam and Eve?
Why was it not recorded in d Bible?

I got a new iPhone 6S last month, after I got tired of my 5S. My boyfriend is using a S4. That has been his phone for some years now. After he learnt that I now have a new phone, he is asking that I let him have my 5S. I don't know why I should give that to him.

if 'one' (assumably u) gets retrenched based on economic meltdown nd not on malpractice grounds, why wouldn't he re-apply?

What do u call, corrupt activities, facilities and academic decay going on for years now in the pub university. As old as some of them are, they can not even feature in top best in africa. I guess its a major SET-FORWARD right, CONTINUE DECEIVING URSEF. no wonder some of u use 7yrs for a 4yr course

There is nothing special about pub uni as well, just avoidable and meaningless harsh conditions. If a private uni student desperately wants to attend a pub uni, his 1year fee in a priv uni will buy his way in. Thats how decayed the public system is.

lool, pls dn't generalise, judging by a little sample of the population...

Based on experience, i realise most of these public uni students beeef priv schs. Most times its out of envy, for the fact that your parents are not privileged to send u to one, should not make u bad-mouth them.
The only difference between the two is, education is carried out in a more condusive and principled environment than the other.

Well, everyone has to defend wat they av. As a public uni subscriber, I neva for once had a thing fr private uni nd I'm sure many of my counterparts don't either. Of a truth, nothin is special in d private unis in Nigeria. Infact, they r a major setback in d standard of uni edu system sector in Nigeria. Stop feeling urself unnecessarily; we r after results nd not inputs. If my token thousands of naira can get me wat ur multimillion naira can get u or even better. Then, why shld I worry?! It is called comparative advantage....

That's d difference between equity and equality. Equality implies giving giving everyone equal treatment, regardless of their status quo while equity (wc I think is d best approach) implies giving everyone wat they need to be all equal nd b on d same level.

At 20, i have come to realise the joy and fulfilment in living life to the fullest. Coming from a noble home, i was not raised to be a man's stooge not to talk of an animal's. My worth was defined from the day i stepped into earth and has been shapened overtime. I was taught the right and the wrong. And that moral laws condone no breaker. If a woman must be condemned and despised for a crime, a man must by all means face the same. I believed this and i knew before God and men it was the truth. I didnt just believe, it became real to me and has influenced my judgement.

However, the society has flung half of this truth and has held on to a part because of how drunk in power it has become and the advantage this fist had fetched it.

We are aware now of this evil conditioning that a woman who sleeps around is a slut and should be desired less but a man who does same a stud and should be the craving of every woman. Many men have quietly nodded in agreement and a few mouthy ones have not failed to vocalise their agreement. And women? So many to the shame of dignity and womanhood have sang along with the men. And you wonder which would sacrifice her pride to make a stud!?

Because to make more studs we need more sluts. Can any of you women come out and offer yourself to a man who would dump you for another. If you cannot hold your peace and stupidity!

A stud is a man who is sexually attractive to so many women. So they say! but i see a stud as an animal who is unable to control its sexual desires, hates monogamous relationships and (therefore) deserves to be judged and condemned.


Women who say they are attracted to studs and hate inexperienced men need not only their heads examined but their consciences and should not take offence when they are called sluts. Cos only a slut or zombie would reason this way.


A stud has nothing tangible to offer except to toy with my emotion, cause me heart breaks and render me unproductive.

For every stud out there there are ten whores rendering my gender useless and subjecting me to prove myself as a woman of pride and esteem all the time. Nothanks.

well, jst like smone rytly said, true churches must obey legal authorities but now that there's really no constitutional provision for church taxation, there's no point, trying to extort the church of God.
