NwanyiOkpa:Yes na, why would you turn down a full ride if you get one. Come study for free and see how it goes thereafter. |
Wretch32:Oga let go, she is seeking knowledge. Check one of her threads where she was asking about the risks of studying outside. I can see that you are in MA, I'm in CT. |
Wretch32:Yeah, the above is the best approach if you are coming for all these courses that are not technical and locals enroll in because you'll find it difficult to get a job that will sponsor you. |
Wretch32:Someone argued that the saying that experience is the best teacher applies to fools because a wise person should learn from the experience of others. Having said that, I believe the ban on IV will be lifted in no time, the time-consuming element would have been the e-passport requirement and we already have that. Even without this ban and the various strict measures this man is putting in place including the elimination of D/S hinted in the link above, getting an OPT or H1B employment was a tall order. In any case, I think anyone coming should not be swayed as things change and you don't know what will happen going forward. |
solihp:He continues to provide information that does not help or answer his question. The letter clearly says he needs about 7k dollars to cancel out the deficit on his i20 and his asking if the offer is worth it. To know if the offer is worth it depends on the circumstance of the candidate. Whether the person has other pending decisions is the most critical info needed to respond to him. If that is the only school he/she is looking at, then the focus shifts to affordability. Before they'll say I'm rude, how can someone that has gone through the admission process be asking this question and then not providing context? |
morgang:It is for you to judge, only you understand your situation based on the info in the post. Some people get full-ride while others don't get a cent. So, are you able to foot the rest of the COA with the offer you got? |
Dulles25:What do you want to know? I'm in one of the New England states and have met some students from there. |
Agbalowomeri:Sorry you got me wrong. People identify with the famous because they want to belong. Trump will not condemn or send condolences if it were an unknown fellow that passed. I was watching the NFL pro bowl when I heard it, was I heard killed I thought it gunshot but later discovered it was a heli. I immediately told myself that the life of a two year old killed by boko haram and him own no get difference. |
IndiaLends:India holds the award of the nation with the most poor people on earth and no other nation is close. Why don’t you lend to your people. Indians are the worst scammers, please lend your money to your poor compatriots and reduce the poverty there |
Agbalowomeri:No be only Naija people, that is how the world works. Even the vindictive Trump sent out a tweet, even though the guy does not like him. The same trump that his actions triggered the downing of that Ukraine plane You see why God is the greatest, he created all lives and sees them as one and equal. He world is a messed up place, and social media has made it worst. |
Mcy56:Aunty, just take down those screen shots, it does not make sense and it is not true. I’m saying it because you post stuffs that are true The naira being at 360 has nothing to do with hoarding or speculation. The law of one price always holds true in forex and in any case that it is violated, arbitrageurs will take advantage of it and force equilibrium |
Realist5:The governor is Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State. He was a house of rep member from 2003 to 2015 and was chairman, house committee on marine transport for 8 years. The unfortunate thing about this story is AVM Atawodi, the guy is from Idah, a LG in kogi State without a good access road. Add that to the poverty in that state and go figure. |
STOjo:You can contact him via pm to learn how not to pay taxes as an individual because you buy Nigerian products. It depends on what you call respect, lying or ignorance might be viewed as disrespect. While a full blown tirade could be viewed as calling a spade a spade |
Toluway:Just tell us you’re the owner of Nigeria and you call all the shots. Mr national importance, who else does not know that government ministries and parastatals are the problem of Nigeria. That is the perennial breeding ground and perpetuator of corruption. I went back to see that this issue was abundantly addressed before my post, yours is the case of a fly following a dead body into the grave. |
X21:Mr accrual, why would you accrue what you don’t pay? Is the taxes paid on the cash flow statement also accrued? By his submission, taxes paid should not be there. Do you guys know about CITA at all? |
Oga just keep quiet and stop arguing. Even if you’re told something, use your brain instead running with whatever you’re told. You’re now a subject of ridicule. Your bosses have collected bribe and asked one of those guys to lie to you because you’re a yes sir subordinate.
|
ukay2:The guy is paying for funds he laundered for a former gov that didn't get his boss's nod for a second term. Remember he visited the eagle house recently. So nothing is fundamentally wrong, he's only paying dearly to salvage his reputation. |
NwanyiOkpa:Madam, where is your okpa shop? Ninth mile or oba? You are asking that oga to post his experience? That is how we behave, we think a setback is a permanent failure. I don't know why someone would go to the embassy to take the survey of approvals and denials. That there were 100 denials before my turn does not affect my case in any way, the VO would not grant approvals where there is doubt and if there are 100 doubtful applicants before me, they'll be delayed and all the rejections doesn't affect my case. |
emmanuelewumi:When you see all them inexperienced folks you can tell from afar. They only remember winners and play god with their calls. |
meshpips:No one missed out on your recommendation. You have been told before that you are the only one that is begging people to come and make money. Why not go and make the money yourself. |
meshpips:This is your year 14, how did it go? Have you paid the guys you blew their account? If you don't understand what he typed, he is saying you should go and focus on currency trading. Come to trading on the NSE when you start playing the market. What you don't know is that no one needed your call to make a decision. Go and look at the start of this thread. There is no financial market designation or experience that those here don't have. But you came here claiming monopoly of knowledge with the aim of scamming unsuspecting investors. |
TraDeRR:You get time o. Na you just dey worry yourself. |
emmanuelewumi:You can see why whoever understands the financial markets especially the fragile one we have in Nigeria will not allow his type to make those deceitful posts to hoodwink unsuspecting investors. |
meshpips:Scammer cum liar. How many monickers do you see with their contact details, na only you wey dey solicit.
|
emmanuelewumi:Oga Emma, it seems you guys don't know this guy. He does not have a stockbroking account. He breezed in to hit it big here and he got exposed. Ever since then, he has been on a mission of redemption. |
emmanuelewumi:Irrespective of what will happen, Dangcem below 200 is a good bargain. Unless you are looking for 200% like Agba. By the time Alhaji is through with his plans, the stock will lead in capital gains. The great Achebe, “Eneke the bird says that since men have learned to shoot without missing, he has learned to fly without perching.” The forbes billionaires have devised permanent means of boosting their wealth without worrying about what retail and foreign holders will do. Rabiu has led the way, Alhaji is following him. |
emmanuelewumi:Pa Emma, If you don't rush him with a rejoinder, a novice will patronize his lies, so it is important that those claims are refuted immediately. Anytime I return to nairaland, it is all your posts that I dig up and read because they contain life lessons and you do it selflessly. I got to know you through your other account. Part of the reason why some investors have refused to return to the market is because of brokers with his disposition, they'll promise you returns as if they control the market. In investment mgt, trust is what you guard with all your heart after salvation. Oga does not know the abc on investing and his beating his chest up and down with his vindictive tendencies. |
meshpips:Scammer in chief! You only came here to project your pecuniary interest and we gave you an uppercut. You are not missed in any way as there are veterans here to share insights. You are being selective, what about FO and GTB? Why did you not call CCNN that has returned over 100%. One thing is sure, you will not get a dime from anyone here. The forex that you have been trading for over a decade, your only trophy is blowing 200k in one breadth and returning 5k to the owner. |
emmanuelewumi:Pa Emma, I agree that no one should be buying BUA at this time. However, I do not agree that he is the one selling and buying selling concurrently. Which of your brokers tell you? Rely less on the veracity of info you get from that your source. |
TLAX:Given Yok's antecedents, I strongly believe the bolded is the case. Expect to see misleading guidance from monkey hunters and scammers like Meshpips. |
locodemy:Don't touch it if you are not in it already. It seems you guys are not familiar with that stock, it will rally two days and folks will start dumping for capital appreciation and taking dividend from the market. |
emmanuelewumi:You are right. One might think this post suggests that it is easier to understand Nigerian businesses than Us businesses because of the locational difference since this is a Nigerian forum. However, it is easier to understand US businesses than ours. Using business research databases like S&P Netadvantage, Thompson One, Factset, Bloomberg, and a host of others would give you more information on US companies than the Nigerian companies on those platforms. Nigerian companies are not on Yahoo finance but you can get the basic information on any US quoted company for free. |
