Ride or die. If the legislators vote in favour of May's deal then I am finished. My GU and GBP/JPY shorts from market open yesterday have returned to profit after an initial setback. I am expecting a strong downward move and would be looking to go long after the vote. |
pluto09:Oga, stop trying too hard to discredit Morgan, volume means little when you choose to look at it the way you want. Assuming the average price for the trades was 3 naira, that should give you a value of about 20billion naira. At 20billion, Morgan has 1% of the total value in 2018. If you take out the top 4 (Stanbic, Rencap, CSL, and EFCP) that accounted for 50% of the trades in 2018, Morgarn's share would be 2% of the value in 2018. Keep in mind that there are about 200 firms If you take that analysis further by considering the target customer segment of Morgan, which is retail, you would see that they are number one. They are the only firm on that list that is retail focused. |

Mcy56:They were among the top ten in volume traded in the year 2018

Yayira:Thanks for copying the message! I am not sending it, I won't descend to that level. Just know that it is possible and only cost 200 naira. The integrity of the financial markets is what we have all sworn to protect but the case is different in this market. The best way to shield your identity is to use a corporate account, with corporate accounts, one would have to track you to the company before conducting a search on you. Even at that, any account related information as you posted earlier can be used to figure you out. |
Yayira:Babes, make una chill. No need for all these quarrels. And for everyone, no need posting your position here. With this stuff that you have posted here, I can send your CSCS statement listing all the holding in your portfolio in all your stockbroking account to you on Thursday. In as much as it is a faceless forum, let's not post our personal details here. In fact, the only thing I need to track anyone is to announce here that he/she bought a stock on the NSE on any day. It is easier for those using their names as monikers. Bottom line is, we should reduce the personal or financial details we post online. |
leo1234:Oga, do not allow false hope to deceive you. If you are the investor will you buy at 50 naira? Just carry your money go buy fundamentally strong stocks. In fact, UnionDiag has a better investment case than FO with the news. Just keep your money for bank if you no know wetin to buy. |
yom2:Oga, it is not a privilege, it is called a parallel order when you are filling out a physical mandate. As long as your sale proceeds can fund the purchase, you should not have any issue selling and buying online or manually. Anything outside this is ojoro. |
DOLLARTEX:Note 31 on page 56 |
fxuser:Oga, what is the chart saying about the results? Once you're done, also tell us what the chart is saying about the proposed 25 kobo dividend and 1 for 4 bonus. |
Godlylifeoneart:Oga, you know what I am saying but you are looking away. So, because the world is going digital Access should not merge with Diamond right? I gave the example of the 2 US banks to drive home the point that banks in economies where the infrastructure for online banking to succeed are still opening branches. And don't get the context wrong, the Oga I was responding to said his bank has stopped opening new branches since the past 2 years. I agree that banks are cutting down the rate of increase in branches, saying that they should stop like the poster I was responding to submitted is what I am against. And yes, it is because diamond bank is having a huge NPL that it is being priced at 75.5bn, despite its woes, it is still a profitable bank. You don't just pick one aspect of a business to make acquisition decision, you look at the whole business. The bank has a positive SHF of 222bn. The liabilities and equities of diamond bank are represented by assets and because they have a positive SHF, you should have said they have huge assets and not liabilities. |
ItGeek:Oga, just say your bank is a troubled bank or it doesn't have money for expansion. How can you be a bank with zero budget for branch expansion in Nigeria? Bank of America is to open 500 new branches in the next 4 years, JPMorgan is opening 400 over the next 5 years, and you guys are mocking Access for this landmark deal. AIG had his mind on this, and he would do anything not to fail. The comment you are alluding to, so because technology will take over banking in 20 to 30 years we should not grow our network? I just wonder why anyone would even doubt the value Access is going to get from this, all this value erosion is because ya all are just looking at it from the point that you chose to. How can buying a company with a SHF of 222bn, deposits of over 1trillion naira and a monthly revenue of about 15bn for 75.5bn be a bad buy? |
onatisi:Don't bother again, I already got it on Reminato. |
onatisi:Bros, I need $1,000 BTC. Kindly mention this post once you have it. |
Mcy56:As far as the NSE is concerned, you go home with all your loot, NO VAT, NO CGT. I have traded several markets, but yet to find where you are not charged a dime for taxes. We can't survive as a nation without increasing the tax base, but with the corruption in the system, why would I want to pay taxes when it will end up in private pockets. |
Mpeace:Who do you pay the tax to? Or is it the WHT on dividend you are referring to? |
Mpeace:No time, I am looking to exit Jan - Feb 2020. I will be monitoring and would do the needful when necessary. |
Me and my household have settled for Fidelity and Flourmill, that is where the value is for us. Flourmill: it is trading around 50% of its 52 weeks high, the effect of its deleveraging - using about 75% of it 40bn naira rights issue proceeds to retire part of its debt, and high cost to low cost debt swap - about 70bn naira, is expected to have material impact on the bottom line this year. Fidelity: TTM EPS of 1.1 naira vs FCMB's 0.61 naira, the lowest P/E in the banking sector, fairly liquid. Investment horizon is 15+ months. |
currentprice:Thanks |
currentprice:Oga Presentprice ![]() Please which forex broker do you trade oil with, do they have a leverage of at least 1:100? Thanks |
Sooredaniel:Oga no need for this. The guy was not hatch na, all I could read from his post is he's trying to tell you not to consider it at all. What I can read from your question is that you are looking for who would show you how to beat the system because the answer to your question is on the social security card. If you think you stipend and the money you have would not be enough, look for ways to cut your expenses. Those with experience will always come off like Femi. When the say the immigration dynamics in the US is changing fast and unfavorable to non-citizens, it is not a joke. It is real. They are just tightening holes that are not even loopholes. Please in case you are not aware, run away from whoever is offering to get you jobs under the table, they'll rope you tomorrow. This is no Nigeria, once you were stamped in, they are monitoring every of your moves. PLEASE STAY LEGAL, DON'T EVEN TAKE ANY BENEFIT. |
DOLLARTEX:Oga, it seems you guys didn't know UBN was one of the banks Sanusi changed its management. Since that anointing, none of those banks have recovered. They shrunk their shares in 2016 @ 3:16. Assuming the 100,000 units of UBN shares you used, the current holding would be (100,000/16)*3 =18,750 units. Then the value would be 18,750*5.25=98,438 naira. Welcome to NSE |
gift01:https://trwstockbrokers./2017/08/01/exclusive-how-ayeni-wrecked-skye-bank-management-writes-osinbajo/ That was even a conservative estimate, go through this link and let me have your thoughts And this one http://thelightnews.com/skye-bank-want-ex-chairman-tunde-ayenis-assets-seized-n200b-debt/ |
dipoolowoo:And you think Dangote can be crushed just like that? When you're the man, party divides rarely matter. Trump that is known for his tirade against footballers taking a knee had to soft pedal when Nike made Colin Kaepernick the face of their 30th just do it campaign. And beyond politics, Ayeni granted over 200bn naira loan to himself, it is only a thief that has something to hide that would support a fund raiser with 2bn naira. |
This gentle guy is gentle indeed. I think the guy is just passionate about this investing thing and he's so good that I love him already. Let's get married already. |
Yayira:Oya go join Mercy them for class. Statement of account or ledger statement is your cash account with your stockbroker. Your CSCS Statement lists your holdings. Just shenanigans, use what you're comfortable with. |
DeRuggedProf:It won't get to 5 prof! At least it's not a crime to pipe dream |
You people should help us drag FBNH to our region, me and my household are waiting at 5. At least if I buy there and it gets to 3 I'll be losing only 40%. I can sleep with my eyes closed with that. |
Yayira:You're safer now than before. These regulators are funny, so Skye has a deficit of 786bn in its Shf, what is their balance sheet size? |
He he, Polaris Bank. It was the same bridge bank model that gave birth to Keystone (BankPHB), Mainstreet (afribank) and Enterprise (springbank) on August 5th 2011. All the shareholders of the defunct Skyebank should that their stars that it is a Plc else the liquidators would encroach on your personal properties to recover the 786bn AMCON is injecting in. How can you be a shareholder when your liabilities and equity can't fund your assets. To think that the stock gained the most traction in the recent past calls for concern. What was the buyers thinking? Could it be a case of misinterpreted information? |
Decision time Between FCMB, Diamond and Fidelity, I pick FCMB because of its fundamentals (that might vanish when audited) and the fact that the owners defend the price |
Mcy56:Or he came to prepare the way. But seriously, Oracle please say something from wherever you are. |
