Nad95:Please ask your questions here. I might not be able to adequately address your queries privately, as such, it is better to post it here as others with more knowledge could help out |
tracyroy:He should look up ABSN programs that can be completed in 12 months after taking the science prerequisites. Depending on how he wants to take the prereqs, it can be completed in a year if he takes summer classes. Essentially, he should not take the traditional BSN route. |
DeRuggedProf:The guy is a joker. He 'invests' people's money for a share of the profit (not loss) so he's always out pushing stocks that he's taken position in. Whoever has money does not have time typing an epistle, it is those that are seeking pecuniary gains from unsuspecting followers that does that. |
justwise:Justwise, I’m surprised you’re indulging her. You should have known she’s doesn’t know what she’s blabbing about. Some think they can speak on immigration matters because they are in the US. I don’t have time to waste. |
onegentleguy:Chief, by this singular post, you have become the spin master general of this thread. Someone without a hidden and biased agenda would not come out with these bull crap. I hope you know hope is not an investment strategy. |
Mcy56:Mercy, how can you say Chi is not liquid when the company's products are all in liquid form? The guy stocked his fridge with Chi for this easter and reasoned that he can make money from the product. |
veecovee:Chief, this your statement defies the law of gravity. How did what did not go up fall back? |
Enyinne:you just helped the broker and not yourself. Zenith and GT move together, so, selling one to buy the other on the same day makes no money-making sense. Welcome, you'll only grow from here. Everyone was once a rookie. |
locodemy:Chief, what you are saying here is just theory. An economy is on lockdown and you are here talking about passive income. Please mention the passive income streams that are lockdown-proof. While at it, you may do well to note that one man's passive income is another man's main source of earning. |
OBAGADAFFI:Oga, the message is what I am debating. I just checked the messenger and can conclude that he is not an authority in finance. That is someone with a disjointed career financial services. No one will pay him a dime for investment advice. If you call that one an authority in finance, what will you call the MIT alum that is a regular on this thread? I know many other guys here that Kalu does not compare to professionally and otherwise. So, how did he become an authority? |
OBAGADAFFI:So Twitter is now the new authority of finance/economics lexicon. Go to investopedia and look up the specific meanings of those words and see how poor a job you did in rushing to make this post. You qualified tbills with short term borrowing, but left bond and leverage. How can qe be a buy and stimulus be a sell? Are you not aware that qe is a form of stimulus? The SCO is an oil etf that profits from fall in oil prices. How would you describe a long position in the etf vis-à-vis oil prices? Many of the words here are rarely used in the Nigerian market and nobody takes the posts here seriously else what you have done is not different from touting a wrong prescription as cure for an ailment. |
Oil futures looking at a massive gap down; the postponement of the OPEC/Russia meeting from tomorrow to Thursday must have caused it. This week should see a huge gain if that meeting results in a cut of at least 10m barrels.

pluto09:This is a poor job by Nairametrics. They just did copy and paste no value-added. I wonder why they expect a slow in trading activities in a volatile market. There is a 50% jump in value traded when Q1 2020 is compared to Q1 2019 - 418bn vs 627bn. |
meshpips:According to your previous posts, you make more than 20% in a month, why are you recommending someone that you are better than? Aye le. I have been abundantly gracious to not only rebuke you, but also show you the way out - please refer to my previous responses to your when started this your get rich quick by risking people's money. Your problem is psychological and it is not unrelated to the previous losses you have suffered in the market. If care is not taken, this might be what would end your life on earth. I am talking from experience - I know people that have gone to the world beyond with this your mentality. Past losses does not increase the chance of success on your next trade. You will never achieve what you could not do with your own money with other people's money. The end result is not always good. |
meshpips:A leopard can truly not change its colors. This scammer is back to his old ways. Oga, stop scamming people, in about 3 months, it will become the first anniversary of my rebuking you here. Whoever invests in the Ponzi scheme his presenting as a proxy is on their own. Since your proxy can return 20% per month, it will only take him 39 months to make $1 million on a continuously compounded basis. Let him just be patient for just 39 months and make it. |
Ignorance is a disease. Congratulations, however, no right-thinking being would consider this news. In your quest for clout, you went ahead to compare him with the BPM. I hope you fully understand what you are doing. You are mentioning a country that knows what they are doing with a corruption-ridden Lagos State. Shameless people, they went ahead to snap the screen with their not pleasant to see faces |
9jamyHome:My bad. Thanks for the correction. I had exaggerated the message and probably given folks false hope. |
Texas Tech is being proactive here. You can be in your house in Nigeria and be performing GA duties and getting paid. No GRE or TOEFl? No problem.
|
OakPearl:You must have made a kill from Sprint. You don't forget such trades in a lifetime, they are your trophy trades. You remember and use them for validation. Telecomm is the most defensive sector in the market - based on a portfolio of about 60 stocks of the 11 sectors of the S&P. Go look at Verizon and AT&T, they've been pretty stable. LMT is a stock that I'll not forgive myself for lacking the courage to jump in at sub $300; that is a company that is Covid-19 proof. |
1kinggy:In Nigeria, you keep your profits. In the US, you pay between 12 - 37% as a trader. Except you are trading for loss purposes, no taxes trumps paying taxes any day. |
RabbiDoracle:Saudi can sustain that price for the next decade, there is a Forbes or WSJ report that backs that position. I don't expect prices to stay at this level post C-19 effect, without Saudi budging, prices would be between 30 and 40 box. On prices trending to 80 box, what are you waiting for? You get forex account na, your downside is $25,000 if you entered at $25 on a standard lot of $10. Your profit will be $55,000 when you cash out at $80. Multiply it by 10 if you have $250k to play with. I don give you free business idea. |
DexterousOne:Chief, you guys should just create a thread and handle this stuff there. No need spamming this thread. I'll have to mention that this argument cannot be resolved because of the biases each of you brings to the issue. Alternatively, you guys can wait till November to get your answers. |
What you guys are failing to factor into your analysis is what is referred to as model breakdown. All theories and concepts have underlying assumptions, this a time of to your tent o Isreal, we'll talk defensive in a normal market environment. Other countries are suffering from the virus, Nigeria's own case is the worst because of the fall in oil prices and the corrupt and ignorant leaders. What was proposed at $57 is comfortably below $30. Saudi Arabia can be at this level for the next ten years. The $30bn loan those airheads approved will not get investors except at significant interest cost. And what did the handlers of the economy plan to do? The dumb finance minister is banking on privatization inflows to replace the shortfall in oil revenue. The daft Emefiele went public with the news that they are no longer financing bdcs; that is the central bank that has an unlimited power to ease being hawkish in times of crisis. |
I just checked Sprint hoping that it would have declined materially from the recent rally, boy was I wrong. It is moving in tandem with T-Mobile. My hope for an arbitrage is dashed. I will be going long on the May and September call options of Facebook with strikes of around $200 and $230 respectively. I am not sure of how this lockdown is a negative for the company given that the DAUs and MAUs are going beat estimates. |
Bomboclad:Did you forget taking your ... this morning?
|
Godisfaithful:@myjoy, the prophet whom none of his prophecies came to pass. Someone is investing local and you are here talking about devaluation. Why do we always look for ways to take away from facts. The guy you quoted never mentioned that he brought in dollars to buy APR. Why? Because you are now a currency speculator. What happened to y'all's call for devaluation? |
Whoever thinks the Visa ban would be reversed soon should buckle up going by the following comment in the link below. “President Muhammadu "Buhari would commission the Nigeria Immigration Data Technology Centre before the end of the year 2020, as part of the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring that her data is linked with security agencies globally.” So the foreign affairs minister played Nigerians when he said the ban will be lifted in a month, this same Aragbe also played Nigerians when he said all the requirements were already in place and that it was a gap in communication between his office and the US authorities that caused the ban. https://www.nairaland.com/5698406/nigeria-appeals-u.s-over-visa |
@Dulles25 I would love to know more about their Food and Agricultural Law LLM program. Besides that, how reputable is the school for Environmental Law masters program. I have googled but I would love to hear from the perspective of a former or current student in the mentioned school. I would contact their admissions coordinator or office to link me up or shed more light on this. How is the school like for an international student, is it possible to find maybe an associated law center to work while studying for stipend? How expensive is life in Vermont? Life in Vermont is cheap and don't expect diversity in the student body, the place be like village for here. Generally, you can not work outside in your first year, so expect to start working after the first year. I understand food and Agricultural Law is a specialized flied, I doubt many would be interested in, so is it a small class and do they offer funding that would cover quite a percentage of the tuition fee leaving me with just a small percentage to pay from my pocket. You should contact the admissions office to get this information. I am sorry if this does not meet your expectations, but I am confident you'll get what you need from the info up there. |
NwanyiOkpa:Your pocket should determine that. |
Wretch32:Even if it not lifted, immigration is very complex and the answer to many questions are known from experience. How the new ban affects AOS is not clear at this time, and whoever gets an employer for sponsorship after studies would be adjusting status and not go through consular processing. So, the idea that all hope is lost might not necessarily apply in some situations. |
Wretch32:If on full-ride, yes. The answer would be no if spending their money, I'll advise them on what to do. |
Admin9:The general answer would be yes, but your field, experience, skills and other factors come into play. |
