@Seun, with all fairness to you and all that u might have achieved, i think there is a seriuos lack of enterpreneural excellence in Nigeria. i'm not one to settle for average when the best is attainable. i think nigerian businesses are built on the foundation of just making money, but history has shown us that the only to be the best is to have a goal that is above jsut money!!!

Kudos to Adenuga and Dangote. The truth though is that Nigerian Businesses are not doing as well as they should.

Dangote and Adenuga CAN hold their own in West Africa. Adenuga actually has a good shot at making the forbes 200. If he can get get Glo to dominate Nigeria and provide decent competition in other west african countries, he might just do it. But he has to be allowed to attain a decent monopoly i.e. Bill Gates

Grad too. this might sound silly but in a place like Abuja, with mech Engr Cert I'm thinking of hooking up with some Benz mechanics to teach me some practicals on repairs and maintainance. I have some money i plan to use to set up my on workshop in the next 6 mnths. Its not going to be easy at the beginning but by next year i'll have my boys, i'll have made a name and i'll be smiling my way to the bank. Imagine people hearing of an Engr graduate mechanic in a big man town like Abj. My workshop will never lack costomers who will be ready to part with some very good money for very quality service. We have considered all the financial aspect of leaving abroad but yet we did not touch the most important one(Family Life). In the western world you don't have right(Authority) over your kids regardless of their age. The freedom for kids is too much that you lost control over them and at the sametime the goverment or their school teacher don't have authority over them as well. They are just like sheep without sherphard. They can do anything hey like, anytime they want to do it hence Gun everywhere corner, killing every minute and sentenceing in every news bulleting, still yet govt kept adamant of the whole issue may be because its mostly black youths that are involved(Let them kill themselves and reduce their population, dia wahala too much).

Think about the above write up as well before you make your decision to start a new life in canada. Mind u many are going back to nigeria even me soonest.
