Perhaps UBA and Access will get some moves if them do better dividend. Looks like investors see results as Audio if not backed by reasonable (commensurate) dividend. grin
I suspect they will do well too.

Agba what's your TA saying, from NB to Banks cool
I dont know how to do technical analysis like that oh. I look strictly at the fundamentals of the companies.

In any case I have 2 companies that I strongly believe I will buy later this year. Unfortunately due to my religious beliefs I cannot mention their names before I buy. However I promise to market them like an idiot after I buy. So be rest assured you will hear about them.

@ Oga Nosa,
I'm not a fan of having too many banks in my portfolio. I've already taken a position in UCAP as the upside is about 100%.
The upside on Intbrew is okay for me. It's a long term move.
You know cash is a valid position to be in.

Anyway not here to run anyone's portfolio

I am very bearish on oil and with Seplat trading with a PE of 25, you need to have titanium balls to buy at these levels

Finally....UPDC and Royalex have quietly turned the tide to FULL BID. Been monitoring the trades for the past 2 weeks and now we're finally here Intbrew on the beat as well. Glad I boarded the brewery train last month.
I am not seeing international breweries as sexy oh. Even if they grow EPS by 500% the PE would be 10.

ETI’s decision to pay a dividend in the course of 14years sparse history is a major milestone that defies its critics. It’s a reminder that market outcomes don't always align with our logic—being "right" or "wrong" is often secondary to the market's timing.
While Mr. Nosa’s life-changing bet might suggest he knew something others didn't, the result is what matters. To the long-term holders since 2008: this April rally was a long time coming. We soldier on.
If you had been following the discussion on ngxforum.com you would know that this result was predictable. I have no insider knowledge, I only followed quarterly results

Exit and do what with the money? ETI is possibly the cheapest stock on the NGX and the Ghana stock exchange.

Do I come across as someone that is doing vibes and isahla in the market?

I have an exit price in my head and we are very far from it

True, but they are getting there. They took a hit in Nigeria due to forbearance loans. This year should be juicier.

All offers cleared on the floor in first hour of market open. Market waiting for more offers. This dividend resumption after two years pause coupled with improved fundamentals is making ETI attractive for dividend investors once again.

Why would Zenith bank be grossly overvalued if it’s trading below its book value ?
So that means ETI is undervalued

I already have my next two target stocks in my sights. I am waiting for a blood bath in the market before pulling the trigger.

PS I am not selling ETI yet. I have a target price and I will mention after I sell the portion I plan to sell.

Based on Zenith bank audited 2025 result
EPS: N25.32
Return on Equity: 21.12%
Book Value per share: N119.90
Retained earnings per share: N68.38

Based on Ecobank audited 2025 result
EPS: N26.13
Return on Equity: 21.71%
Book Value per share: N120.35
Retained earnings per share: N105.46

I can't predict daily price movement but either Zenith bank is grossly over valued or Ecobank is grossly under valued. Either way I pin
