Stockpromoter:
So far you don't deny Loco his weekly 10-20% in some of these insurance stocks,I am okay staying quite.
One thing I know is I was here you came and I will be here to see your end here.

I blame myself for revealing a trading strategy which I believe you also benefited from.

I am okay and doing pretty well bro.
If you know this,do you know the other one?
You have denied some people little things that can help them win the market at a particular time.

Enjoy the market alone.
Make sure you help the members to make your audio billions if true you are making it big.

I don't eat alone but you have forced me to start eating alone like some of the greedy and self centred ones here who don't care for others.

Kindly know that I am here always observing all you do.

Have a nice day
Even though I am yet to align with any of your recommendations since getting here, I respect your views. When people make recommendations the wise thing to do is take a look at the company yourself and see if your analysis agrees with the recommendation given. All these people who say that people are giving recommendation for selfish reasons are living in coo coo land.

Nobody pays anybody here for analysis. I personally give recommendations for two reasons;

1, To get the opinions of others to see if there is something I am over looking. Essentially giving me a second opinion
2, To potentially draw attention to company and increase demand for the stock

So please keep giving your recommendations. I don't think our investment methodologies align and as such I haven't taken advantage of your recommendations but trust me I have reviewed all the companies that you have recommended since I became active here. And who knows, one day I will hammer from your recommendation.

Did you mean I “underestimated”? Please take it to -10% at the close of the market today. Let me see your influence. grin
Ogbeni the discussion is not personal. Calm down. For every transaction there are different opinions I think it's over valued you think it's under valued. I am not buying you are either buying or holding. No need to be sarcastic on top the matter.

Abeg free me to promote my ETI in peace.

If you don't know about a sector. It is better you keep quiet. This is the period palm oil is suppose to be cheap but the thing is already expensive. The local production no dey even meet demand. Presco is going to harmer and nothing is going to stop it unless natural occurrence happens to thr farms. All those who have mini plantation are making a kill now including my family. I wish we did invest big in it all this yrs
You guys are mistaking having a profitable business and having a cheap stock. Presco PE ratio is 14 as at today's closing price. Anyway lets see how the quarterly results pan out

From my own analysis this day trader failed woefully. He had completely lost out in the compounding. But, i guess he is satisfied for the little gains.

If we use the index as a yard stick; if you held from 2015 till date you would be in the red in dollar terms.

Left GTCO, ZENITH, NAHCO, ARADEL, PRESCO, WAPCO, DANGCEM, SEPLAT, etc.

Left these real pillars, to go ETI.

Well, to each his own, make Nosa sha remember say NGX is a "unique animal", according to one guy like that.

We sabi say na OG e be sha, but be cautious with banking valuation, and moderate expectation of capital appreciation especially for a bank like ETI wer no de poo or vomit dividends.
Oh no i didnt. I bought GTCO at 38. Bought Zenith at N60 and now bought ETI at N46.

Each time the reaction from my fellow market participants was the same. And each time I laughed in Bini

to be honest, i would have bought close to 40 stocks on the exchange before looking at ETI
Great. That's why this game is not a team sport.

ETI is the most illiquid banking stock.

JAIZ and STERLING are even more liquid than it is.

Should even be trading not to far from ACCESS
That only means when the full bid starts una no go see buy. And guess what, I wont be selling!
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 6:03pm On Mar 23
Prosper307:
PRESCO you should have just bought and taken position swiftly. If you did, you wouldn't be so anti-Presco.
You go pack your kaya for ETI wer no dey pay dividends.
NGX responds to dividends o. Welcome back to NGX
My brotherly advice: Better take profit from ETI before dividend season sha

Why sell Zenith for ETI sef? hmm. To each his own
No worry about me, I like to lose money.

Meanwhile all this na bull market talk, let us be watching. I have had this argument several times on this forum and all I will say is I am laughing in Bini

Waku up from dream bro... grin grin grin
Based on current earnings it is expensive. Now that earnings are expected to drop you think a 50% drop is out of it? Lets see how earnings pan out this year before calculating fair value

I ve given u the two conditions that can warrant that.. ones q1 results hit the market, bye bye to buying presco at sub 2k.. cool

Even long term, presco can never be priced at 850 except COVID like issue or serious natural disaster affect the operation of the company.

If Presco is priced at 850 that ecobank will be worth close to nothing based on fundamentals. grin grin
Time will tell

Now I'm even more convinced that I'm right

we never mentioned long term trend. We were all about the current price actions in the market between Okomu and Presco.

You are using one day price action to determine long term trend?

Even if we consider a modest 12x multiples, it means that for Presco to trade at N850, the EPS has to drop from over N134 to N70 annualized. Is the business having any fundamental challenge to warrant this sort of performance?

Bottom line is Presco cannot drop a 50% from current price to dip to N850 per share without the business undergoing some distress.
I respect your opinion though I don't agree with it. Time will tell if you are right
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 10:56pm On Mar 19
unite4real:
t N850 Presco PE ratio should be 6.3x. Even in the worse market downturn, Presco has not traded at such multiple. With the Institutional investors, HNI and FPIs who understands the fundamentals lurking around the corner, the will never allow the price to get to such a price point before they swallow all such offers.
You forget E in PE is expected to come down
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 7:54pm On Mar 19

Meaning Presco should sell for N850 from current price?

I laugh
Price is just a number. Look at the pe ratio and you will see a very different picture

Joyful365:
The likes of Ellah Lakes, Presco, Aradel, Guinness, Okomu, MTN, and Access Bank will shed at least 50% from their all time highs when the time comes. Watch out and check the charts
With the exception of Access and MTN I agree with this. I will go further and say they will lose more than 50% from their current prices.

Slammmmmmmm:
Okomu's real price should be 1588 or so... so it is still trading below Presco
I am really curious, How do you people arrive at these prices?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nosa2(m): 4:26pm On Mar 18
unite4real:
ok.
it closed N1710 today and i can bet it will still not go down to that level of N1400 - N1500.

There is no way Okomu will be selling above Presco at this point.
This alone is a catch
Is it possible they could both go down?

Asking for a friend

Actually, Retained Earnings is positive but Other Reserves is negative. (See Statement of Changes in Equity for Q32025).

Q4 Financials are not detailed enough; they lumped Retained Earnings and Other Reserves which is negative.

I think a good call.
Na their naija operations/results nor dey give joy.
Thanks for this.

Timing is key in this.
Access' results may come out in few days. If CBN approves and their dividend is attractive, the price would jack up.
@Bagwa says Oando is planning to announce dividend soon (not yet confirmed, but he seems to know a lot about the firm.)
Yea, it it's very tricky decision. I would dump the Oando sha. Would probably hold on to access. Then again I sold access few weeks ago to buy ETI but I'm not the smartest cookie in the jar

Thank you. I'll trim my access and oando and buy eti.

If they solve the retain issue. We might have 30-50% upward price growth
Access is also cheap oh BUT its return on equity is nonsense

OANDO has fraudulent management so I don't bother looking at it

mikeapollo:
But Zenith pays higher dividends than GT?
I dont care about dividends. I do care that other market participants care about it though.

I sold Zenith and bought ETI partly because I believe ETI would soon go on full bid but also because Zenith is about to pay dividends and I know a lot of people are waiting for dividends before they sell so I want to sell before them.

As una dey look market I dey look una grin
