Too bad Sir 😞
With Nsempa turning into politics/football commentary thread and fast losing its purpose, another sane forum on stocks discussions such as Ngxforum would have been a better alternative, and this will be discovered over time by most people.

Your perspective is well understood but you shouldn't have quit so easily like that.......

Anyway, you've tried.
You're a winner, and a winner you'll always be. 🏆
I wish you well Sir 🎊 🎉
Let someone else who can devote more time created the alternative. I will happily support them.

Thanks for the kind words

Oga Nosa2
Ngxforum.com have not been opening for the past two days now...
Was it taking down or it's certificate expiry issue sir?
I decided to stop running the forum. I created it for the community but after one year I have realized that the community is comfortable here and it just seemed unnecessary.

Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it

I'm down 17% on Access. That is minuscule compared to what I have made in the last 12 months.

Aradel is a very good buy circa 1000. It seems that's where the bubble started so it might likely fully unwind at that level 😂
Don't use your money to be doing kalo kalo, come and join us on the Access train

Really 😮
They know management feasts on small shareholders yet they decide to partner with them hoping that they will change. How else can I rationalize that?

PETERICHY don abandon hunters grin
The only rationale I can give for people buying OANDO is that they have a thing for losing money

I will start buying Access again from sub 20

I haven't bought any stock for days now. Although I don't think this is bears market anyways. The main bear market won't be funny if it starts
I don't see access going sub 20. Q2 is going to be very interesting

So much sell offs on the NGX. Full offers and zero bids for so many previously coveted stocks. Seplat, Aradel, DangCem, Betaglass, Berger, Julius Berger, etc.

Do you know the landing cost of cpo to lagos on the average in q2? Compare it with q2 last year you will see why presco and okomu will print a very good q2.

Try to remain expert in what you understand, you see this palm business, we they follow am bumper to bumper.
grin grin

This not a buy or sell advice oooo.
My view on palm oil companies in Nigeria is not based on the global market but on Nigerian government policy

crownprince2017:
If you really want palm oil companies this is the best time to get them cheap, what you consider as peak/boom last year has now turn to normal standards structurally, the mother of all boom in palm is coming within 6 months to 2 years.

Official declaration of elnino is not a joke
Indonesia b50 starting July 1 is also not a joke.

2027 will be very hot for cpo..

grin grin grin

We don decide based on supplies and demand in the market but on structural thesis.
I am not really interested in palm oil companies per say. I will buy if the bloodshed becomes ridiculous but with a forward PE of about 13 we are far from that point.

Wait o, you guys are actually serious? Haba!

You really want random people on a faceless forum to consider your feeling when they mention outrageous prices for entry for their own preferred stocks? To what end, so the stock won’t crash or so you won’t have sleepless nights? Crazy.

I see such posts and chuckle because when they sound outrageous, I assume they are joking…and even if they weren’t, how does their chattering affect my portfolio and thesis and personal investment goals? Make Una Dey take am easy o. Honestly thought the first commenter who complained was being Tongue-in-cheek shocked
People are vexing but the vex has not yet turned to panic so we are far from the bottom.

Peterichy is still living in 2014

NGX wey don decouple from oil since how many years ago. Brent nosedived from Over 120 to 60. The same period NGX ran a continuous bull for 3 years.
But were valuations this rich? This market is pricing in future and consistent growth in the real economy; anything that could potentially disrupt that would cause bloodshed.

The country's economic managers need to sit up right now

You think this war is over? There is no agreement yet. Iran has its 14 points, which the United States has not agreed to. On the other hand, Trump keeps announcing a deal, lol.

Then there is Israel, which remains adamant and continues to attack Lebanon, one of Iran's key concerns. In my opinion, buy crude as it falls and be patient, because I believe it will rise again.

This war is not over yet. The U.S. may eventually try to put boots on the ground, which could result in significant casualties. Just listen to what Iran is saying, what the U.S. is saying, and what Israel is doing. That alone is enough to tell you that there is no end in sight.
So you want to argue that they will fight forever?

Nigerian oil companies are also becoming gas giants. Seplats Q1 results were bolstered almost entirely by the gas business since they did not benefit from the oil price windfall.

Aradel is fast scaling its gas business while trying to pump as much oil as possible.

Qatar’s NLNG almost-monopoly (20% of world total) would take years to rebuild and companies like Aradel and Seplat are ready to benefit from the scarcity and hike in international prices. NLNG just completed their train 7 and gave already positioned themselves. Whoever sees Aradel as an ‘oil company’ is not looking at the future of global energy.
This is a bull case and it is very valid.

Go back to my POSTS during the WEEKEND..........

I started LIQUIDATING my position in OANDO last week Thursday IMMEDIATELY I DISCOVERED that OIL PRICES are CRASHING.

And every SMART TRADER knows that OIL PRICES DICTATES NGX MOVEMENT....

Will START REPOSITIONING at circa #45

Meanwhile WALE is not in HASTE to RELEASE OANDO results.

BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE
This time may be different. I would have run for USD if not that we have Dangote Refinery, liberalized FX and downstream sector.

I don't see ARADEL's transactions as crashing but as earlier heavy cross deals, at least so far....
The market is still retailers market for now from my observation.....
The release of the results may change the game again.....
Q2 is almost over and they are expected to have made massive gains for Q2..
I may be wrong but results will clear things
I expect the decline in oil price to be steady and long term. And as oil price crashes the result of oil companies will keep getting worse. I am talking months and years not days or weeks. Demand supply dynamics is changing
