Indeed 2k18 was an incredible year with some many un staged drama’s, gists and all you can ever think of, We @Nosahwrites , we have no doubt or whatsoever of the Package 2K19 will offer.

AREN'T WE CELEBRATING CALENDAR DATED INDEPEDENT DAY?
"The Labour of our Heroes past shall not be in Vain" , this will constantly mutter whenever the National Anthem is been Recited, the "Hero's and their labour". It is another independent day, Oct 1, colonisation was suspended and independent was Birthed, the authoritarian system of Governance came in, this continued still we got ourselves into the "Fourth Republic", the era we are therein, with this, most of us thought would be salvaged from all the juntas and coup system we went through,and enjoy the dividend of a democratic Nation, so we all thought!.
Colonialism was a Recycle thing for us, "Nigerians" from the pre-colonial era to Colonial era and now the post colonial era which gave us the Republican status that gradually dwindles the true definition of a Democratic system of governance.
The Recycling Democracy that evidently produces "our Leaders" that we knew from time immoral, the difference in previous years and now is just that "decamping and cross carpeting" was also infused and encouraged by the system,Misappropriation of funds amongst other wasn't exempted, it's only God of creation that can direct our noble cause and take us out of what we are in now!
In the end, I return to the Question aren't "we celebrating a calendar dated independent day?" your guess is mostly likely the same as mine, but "to be faith, loyal and honest" what do we stand to gain in maintaining a starved independent nation?, worsened by a perverted value system.
All this does not lie in the government alone, we all share in the blame and we all must change in some way, in order to build "Nation where peace and justice shall reign".

Just as the transmit of Technology moves with all form of alacrity and ease, most of us grew up knowing the Cartoon based Tv " Black & White Tv " ,we all enjoyed the utility that comes with it, but at some point in time the Likes of LCD & LED started trooping in and we all left the cartoon based TV and moved on with Current trend..
What this evidently means is that " being too comfortable " with an achievement might really not propel greater achievements.

In commemoration with this day in History "Democracy Day",in a Democratic Nation where are therein, an eligible individual has the veto power to exercise his/her franchise whose authority is backed up with a thumb print!!
In yester years most of us consented to what we thought would you have been better for us, our level of optimism was so high that we had no choice but to bask in the euphoria of CHANGE, but unfortunately our thought was garnished with a well scripted "staged political propagandas and unfulfilled "promises...
With the evidence of things seen, the thought and hope of things that are yet to come,for we all know the time is fast kicking, the Day looks far, but it's very much Nearer than we all think.. " Make a Wiser Decision in 2019 Election"

In the words of wande coal "once upon a time", we were told we are the "Leaders of tomorrow".... but, what happens when the helm of affairs isn't functioning and delivering well?,and we still get a Defamatory statement as compliment "Lazy and being uneducated" after feeding us with staged political propaganda promises!!! ... Most of us wanted more, but we are getting much more lesser for what we negotiated for, CHANGE moving in a Negative direction, Our decision is almost looking like a "Misplaced priority" .. For i know,the time is fast kicking, the Day looks far, but it's very much Nearer!!!
It's un debatable that;
Light is been taken out of our bulbs..
Water is out of our Taps..
Education is kicked out of our schools..
Freedom to life, was taken out of our people!
Transparency out of our political offices!
Health was out of our hospitals..
Safety was destroyed on our Roads
Dignity was taken out of Labour and WE still suffer for what will we have (Fuel)!

LAGOS STRESS!!!
Freeze, it's a minute past 5am, An average lagosian is expected to be awake by that time, on week days, most especially on MONDAYS... to those getting used to the system, the body isn't willingly, but the soul might be , 15 minutes behind schedule can be very dangerous, it can be like doing "falling like a mango tree on an inter lock ground"..
Getting to the Bus stop and seeing large number of people, it almost like a football match is currently going on, and the stadium is the "Bus stop", The BRT Terminal has a perfect long queue, that queue you have whenever there's an Election, Presidential Election to be precise!!
All at the end, you still have to struggle to get a bus, not just that, you have to be smart, unless some of your stuffs will develop Legs... This time around the "Passengers Scout" popularly known as AGBERO are already on their uniform "Green and white" and of course, their Marker is always with them, The Bus Conductors are beginning to apply some theoretical Economics law , in this context, it's the larger the passangers , the increase in transport fee"..
The Road looks kind of Cool, Everyone is definitely serious, all Radio stations are currently doing" Traffic Report", if not all "Traffic Fm, Wazobia Fm,Rainbow fm" and the likes are helping the Road users to make use of the alternative Route,while some Commercial bus drivers prefers their Headline News in Yoruba language, Not Really minding the Traffic Report segment, "KOKO NINU WIWE ROYIN" All these are between 6:30am-9am " ceteris peribus"
Things Moving at slow Pace, Every Newspaper joint is been occupied with people from different Walks of Life , These people Never buys News Paper!!, they are passionate and voracious when it comes to Politics, I call them "Road side Political Analyst"... Truly, if you want to understand the nitty gritty of politics,your 5 minutes at Newspaper joint will be indeed a Valuable one... The market women aren't exempted from the funny Lagos scenario, Mama Tunde Tomato, Iya ikechi groundnut oil and Mama iK Stock Fish etc these are people that paint LAGOS a Beautiful Name!!
The stress isn't completed when the day isn't over, the traffic starts building up immediately it's past 5pm,Car Horn keeps Beeping from every intersection..The true definition of Hustling and bustling is when the Road side Sausage roll aka Gala and soft drink seller runs faster than Usain Bolt..
The breeze is moderate, but little bit swiftly, The long Queue is here and the struggle continues... immediately, sense of belonging sets in, for some , their pay day is a day closer !!

Yes!!!.. the time is fast ticking, it another period of transition.. The beginning of New year, New principles, New decisions and resolutions.. this period, Great thought pumps up,for the space of few weeks, "they are still as fresh as it was conveyed in the Mind", not forgetting there's still a very long way to go!!! .. sometimes, if not most times, some decisions don't really Stand in "space of time", whatever you think and conveyed in your mind, can only be materialized if, and only if "it goes and come out through time".. it's normal, the thought I have towards the latest, "mobile phone" can only be valid, only if ,my thought towards the phone can stand the test of time, patience for the release of other brands of mobile phone" and see, if my thought won't change!!, most definitely it might change, because ,i needed the phone for the "tending functionality!", afterwards what happens??, I will start saving for another phone, because TIME has validated it functionality and value!!
That is what happens towards New year Resolutions and principles,because days and months will validate, how far and how well those conventions can go, within the allotted time for achievement!! . I solely believe Resolution shouldn't come every 31th dec or 1st Jan of every year,anything can be achieved within the space and time you have the convention in your mind, although, every year resolution serves as follow up measure for achieving anything with the space of time..
#Anticipating The New Year!!

The Christmas am use to, I could vividly remember some years back,Christmas was usually a month festivity celebration, starting from Dec1st to first week of january,while the festivity period is still on, most people feel the Christmas and new year vibe, when knock out [Banger] starts making head way! ,Everywhere is been locked down,with different kind of sound!!, but now the phenomenon seems to be waning out!, also vividly,as far as I can recall,all shopping mall and complex gets lock down for festivity buying and selling, you literally, struggle to move in a very busy market..similarly, most stores gets painted with Christmas light , tree and whatever you can think of.. In fact, the technology advancement increases year in and out, the innovation that ones caught my attention was the model "Santa's claus" saying the conventional Christmas song,"I wish you, how merry christmas..."not only that, the artificial intelligent santa claus dances as well, maybe the gone recession is beginning to manifest itself again, "I guess!!! " who knows??, but this time around, it's at the Wrong timing, even before 15th of very December, all Top firms such as banks, oil companies, Top shopping stores and filling stations gets their office or place of sales well dressed for the festivity ahead "Christmas and New year celebration",but Now, most firms even struggle to upload their "Old Christmas wear" on their building!, why some aren't even making a provision for that!
All the odd seems to be general, even before now, every road side seller, even the audio/video disc seller, put the Christmas song on repeat!!,you even get to see the "Christmas song artistes " , that for the video... I haven't even heard any Christmas song,from my younger one's, and they did Christmas party in their school!!!, unlike yesteryears , they chorused the songs where ever they go, the smile on their faces can't be explained,all filled with excitement ..
Since beginning of the festivity Month!! .what about the era of seeing "Christmas cap" been flaunt everywhere.. at least, 4 out of 10 people on a street put on Christmas cap!! ... These odds can't be really traced down to any visible circumstance!! "my thought", I believe, Recession isn't prompting the sudden change...I also believe, Being prudential doesn't really excuse the fact that "celebrating during festivity is bizarre!! " or maybe the popular saying is setting in"Change is the only permanent thing in life" that aside,am beginning to miss "The old Good Christmas Memory!!!"

You see!!, No matter how intelligent and brilliant you are, there is always something you don't know, things you never expected or thought could happen, usually Happens ,maybe for the Reason from learning from them, has knowledge is infinite, so those sense!!, people are very familiar with intellectual, brilliant, intelligent and people with common sense,but Majority never believed there's a New research and error checked terminology called STREET SENSE!!.. even before now, it has been in existence,has the Name implies "street", people who live, work and move on the street, understands some certain things compare to those who don't, You can be intelligent and brilliant through formal Education, while street sense, does Necessary Need the four walls of school, Street sense resides and lives on the STREET, street sense in this context, does not really mean, you being duped due to your naivety, but if you don't get yourself acquainted with "street sense!!" , who never can tell!, people who live, sleep, eat and roll on the street , can Hustle Money out of you!!
Reason why those on street can't be easily be duped or fraud is because, they understand and are aware of the current ways things are done on the street... On street, it not usually called duped, fraud it's called "obtain , colonised or hustle out!! ", that just one of the secret of the street!! ..
Countless Numbers of ideology is been given birth to on street, the hypothesis of "sense" is been experimented on those who don't live on street, and also who are clueless about the Happenings on the street, don't get it twisted, those on street can also be easily be obtained, but it seldomly Happens, those are other side, usually bear the brunt,but there's an exemption to that, "if and only if they understand the New methodology of the street",most people who are street sense inclined, are those who ones lives on the street..
The truth is that, most of has or will learn things through experience, and such experiences could be trace down to street sense!! .. secret of the street is to get yourselves acquainted and updated,some of them could be beneficial at long run,"language,methodology and quick to response approach" because No one takes it away from you, just like knowledge, you get yourselves updated, because it more or less a research, not just for anything, but for not being obtained or being colonised .. "the street doesn't change, so does, some of it people, what changes in the street, is the methodology, it language and some of it secret!! "

It always dishearten when we loose people to things that are invariable inconsequential.. the abuse of things is becoming a worrisome with the adverse effects,come to think of it, "what kind pressure is derive, after high consumption of drugs and alcoholic substances" all what it does is little of relief, and massive effect on your health and life, Loosing three resourceful individual to HIGH take of drug and alcoholic is very unpleasant,just like that, life has ended for them.. going bankrupt isn't exempted, what all those substances those "is to help you find your ways into the gutter "
Come to think of it, what the essence of going weird and adventrous??, "even if you want to feel yourself"you can always do something LITE. just in the words of falz "collect something lite!!"

Sometimes it really difficult to understand some certain things, You see, people believe things that best works for them, some believe life isn't competitive and complex while some believe very chances in life is difficult and competitive to get.. in fact, some believe "crossing the road is as difficult as taking a concrete decision in life".. You see!!! Whichever way you see and view it ,it's simply and squarely "your perspective"!!! But, the truth is that,before a child is born, the child STRUGGLE to get a space in the womb, the same child STRUUGLE to get out of womb, either in between the legs or through cesarean section, then the child try to adapt to the new environment after several beating, gets into the normal creche/Montessori , sing whatever song that was been taught, not forgetting an average child stay awake even before 6 am, then get prepared for school, get to school by 8/9 am do the normal school routine, close by 3pm, for those whose parent wouldn't be around still 6/7pm, the child gets engage in after school lesson, get home by 8pm, do school assignment, even before the food is already, then, fall asleep in between th food.. this routine continues until the child finishes his/her high school education..
Now the STRUGGLE continues, the child obtains and optin for university qualifying exam, gets in after several attempt , gets in and continue with the everyday STRUGGLE, trying to fit into whatever future endeavour that was chosen, alas,undergraduate race is over... then the STRUGGLE continues for those that don't "have longs legs", some get employed immediately, while most people attend several interviews , write aptitude tests and submit cv application, Now the STRUUGLE is as difficult as securing a space in the womb,because of it high level of competitiveness "just as the way you and I got a space, even before we became a zygote "..
Successfully, got an employment space, you did the usually 9 to 5, for almost 2 decade, then you get out of services, you got remitted of all your dues and benefits, then old age knocks, this time around "the human strength and power is beginning to diminish","the strength of running from one bus top isn't longer there, the strength of jumping from one office to the other isn't longer there, the strength and power of multi tasking isn't longer there, the strength of putting the best and on flick foundation on your face isn't longer there, " and this time around the normal phenomenon "struggle" will beginning to wind away, you no longer think about the STRUGGLE,but the aftermath of it all..
All the Struggles ends the day you officially sign of out services,the jumping and rushing to meet with up with the lagos traffic won't be there anymore! ,what remains with you is your "achievement and impact to people lives...
Sooner or later , "Glorious Exit sets in" you don't longer struggle to get a land, but people try has much as possible to secure a bed space for you at the "Most Quiet place on Earth!! " in order words, "the land STRUGGLE for people" not the other way around!! .. What you are been reference to are your achievement, impact and things you will be remembered for after the Glorious Exit.. The struggling isn't longer there, Noise from the other building isn't longer there,Lagos traffic wahala will not longer be a struggle for you, What remains is SILENCE and PEACE!!! We offend remember everything about History "the date, event and happenings " and forget about the LESSONS...
